What can I say, this brings back SO MANY MEMORIES. It was a no brainer to reach out. You come across as one of the most genuine person on the planet and spending 3 days in Milan busking and having fun only confirmed it 💪🏻 ad maiora my friend, good times are on their way!
Nice one Ben,always good to play overseas,i'm of to India 12th of jan to do my winter gigs,it's a really nice way to get rid of the really bad bit of the winter,i'll keep you posted with some photos
I'm so glad I found this channel after randomly searching my small hometown Redhill on TH-cam and finding a video of you busking there. I look forwards to your videos every Monday. They're all great but this was a special one and much needed after an extremely tough week. Keep doing what you do ARP!
I’ve gotta say I smiled throughout the whole video. So happy for you and love Milan. Keep following your heart because you’re changing so many lives. You’re inspirational. Sending love from the land downunder 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤😂
Things are moving in the right direction. Proof of what showing up, working hard and showing your work can bring . Congrats on your latest busking adventure. A big step forward. And getting recognized there?? Cool. I'll bet that was a highlight of the day. Just more proof of concept and another example of what can happen when you put yourself out there. Really happy for you.
When are Ben,s video,s not Inspirational .... this fella is on another Level for that ! I have been following this Happy Chappy since awhile and has been such a Blessing to my ears and Soul since then every Monday ! Times are tough round about our ears , but he shows us all that with undying devotion and limitless energy of love all is possible with no train or now even plane ticket being denied by his own self made reality !
Mate... So stoked for you! I actually welled up a bit, such an achievement! I've been a bit quiet on the comments for a while but still checking out all of your uploads and loving your tenacity and undying enthusiasm. Your journey continues to be an inspiration for many of us, thank you so much for sharing both the ups and the downs. On the "Show your work" and "Keep showing up", just thought I'd share a reaffirming thing of my own. Back in 2020 when the world shut, gigs had been my only source of income for 15 years then that all stopped abruptly. I lived off my savings until they were gone & I had to sign up for benefits, which was completely against my work ethic, but needs must. *I'll get to the point soon, promise. I'd always wanted to play guitar like Mark Knopfler, but didn't have the chops so I decided to use the down time to learn how. Come 2022, when the world finally reopened, I started a Dire Straits tribute band and we played some local gigs and within a year we were selling out small theatres all over the UK. Last year I received an unsolicited email from a promoter who had seen me on the interwebs and as a result I've been booked to play a series of candlelight concerts in awesome venues such as The Royal College of Music in Manchester, and Newcastle Cathedral. So, in summary, yes! Show your work and keep showing up. Thanks again for showing us! Best wishes x
I love this! Thank you Martin. Both for the kind words and for sharing your story! This is an inspiring one because it shows how putting the time in will almost always lead to a pay off! 😀 🙌 Some epic venues right there too 😍 - enjoy the gigs! The magic really does happen when you 'keep showing up!'
This is so so inspiring!! I've been having a bit of a mid-20s crisis about what I actually want to do with my life and I've recently found myself returning to my love for music. I'd always been a singer growing up and I passed all my grade exams 1-8 in singing, but I've neglected my voice since leaving school - gradually starting to change that and build my confidence up! I just recently found your channel and it's inspired me to start thinking about busking/a musical career in general as something I could actually realistically do. Since graduating uni I've felt a bit lost (and the thought of following the career status-quo has been filling me with dread to be honest), but realising I could potentially make a living with my voice and on my own terms has been the first time I've felt truly passionate about and intuitively drawn to an idea in quite a while. Your joy and authenticity in your videos also makes me feel like I could put myself out there authentically and reach an audience aligned with me. Thank you so much for what you do and keep spreading the love ❤
This is exactly why I make these videos so it's awesome to hear that you're inspired! 😀 I highly recommend giving busking a go, even if it's just a little 'experiment' 🙌 It's almost guaranteed to bring you a little magic and if you enjoy it, then it's a great place to set a foundation to build on into your musical journey/career... Thank you for sharing this and I wish you well on your journey! ✌
during the big recession of the 1980s with millions unemployed Mrs Thatcher said “if you cannot find a job, look for an income opportunity” so I started busking.
Nice to finally see part 1 of the Gelato-series bro. Im so happy to finally see you go places! Giuseppe you're an amazing musician to man! Great vibes on those performance bits!
So chuffed for you man! Keep showing up, love it! I'm reading "show your work" now, but keep making excuses to not go busking :(, I went all through summer and loved every time, why have I given up???
Lovely to see mate, congratulations, well deserved 👏 I recently quit my job to pursue music with my band and you inspired me to busk as a means of income. Since doing so I’ve seen the best humanity has to offer - the world is a very kind and smiley place it turns out. Thank you 🙏
Crazy video! Giuseppe has a really nice voice! and so do you ARP! Love the content. Thanks for inspiring me to become a busker aswell!. Im aiming for that goal in 1 year to become a busker aswell :)
Fantastico journo a Milano !! So Great to see you discovering Europe through your vision of travelling and living through music ! Seems Italians love a Bush on an Evening ! Maybe I should go there as, here, as I have been telling you for awhile is beyond problematic ! Need to make a strategy and enact, take a leaf from your Gilded Book of Busking Sir ?
I do have one question for you now that you have played with the boss street cube 2 I know that you use the Mackie showbox witch one in your opinion has the most power.
I enjoyed the Boss Street Cube 2 and can see why so many buskers love it. It's got a lot more too it than I realised too with the in-built looper and FX. 😀 The Mackie is where it's at though - 400w is it's power output. Price-wise it's obviously quite a bit more but you definitely get what you pay for 🙌 my advice for anyone wondering between the two would be to get the Boss if you haven't got the budget for the Mackie and perhaps you're just beginning your busking journey. If you're a well seasoned busker and especially if you have gigs/events to play too, then the Mackie is the best option for sure!
thought busking was banned in London and thought powered pa was banned in europe.....like that little guitar ....its like a taylor gs mini? might be a good inestment smaller guitar n pa ...ps i appeciate the last piece of advice - that woke me up //// I been letting life get to me ...time to shine.
Time to shine!! 😀 🙌 Busking in London isn't simple but it's not banned. Westminster borough requires a licence and has specific 'spots'. The other boroughs don't require licenses but you kind of have to know where the spots are... It's a code I'm trying to crack and once I have it down I'll make a full video on it! Amps aren't banned in Milan but I think there are a fair amount of European cities that do have a ban on them!
Great video, your enthusiasm is absolutely infectious. I was smiling almost as much as you were during the whole 28 minutes..! Preordered your album, hope you get to 1,000 orders. Never mind 100.. Keep rocking...
Thank you so much! This honestly means so much! 😀 🙌 Now 1000 orders would be something... I guess I'll 'keep showing up' and maybe that's what will happen!

There's an elevator at the back on the left, that will take you up to the roof.
