Well, it's a bit too much for an Intro level timeline video. It's a lot as it is and adding 5 to ten more minutes and give it as much time as the war in heaven or the fall of the Eldar is bloating.

I love TTS' description of the death of the Old Ones. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of:
"It was like a bunch of people rolled up to an old folks home, began a series of executions of all old people and stole all there stuff, and then a completely different group came along and did it all over again."

Now to be fair, he only said major powers in the galaxy. I'm pretty sure that Ultramar is bigger than Tau space.
The Tau Empire - is a couple of dozen inhabited worlds, and about a dozen star systems under control.
The Empire of Ultramar - is a union of five hundred worlds. not just planets, but populated industrialized worlds.
A long standing theory I have had is that the Eldar and Humanity fought a war before and during the Men of Iron Rebellion. A war the Eldar lost, which further fuelled their debauchery all the while the Emperor purged the Loyalist Men of Iron who helped protect Humanity aginst the Traitor Men of Iron and the Eldar in the same way he would later purge the Thunder Warriors. Then Slaanesh was born and the Age of Strife ended after the Emperor shot Humanity in the foot by killing the last Loyalist Men of Iron when Humanity needed them most.
Explains why lion el'jonson has Men of Iron under his control.

They all call him papa nurgle for a reason. They literally see him as a father figure with how kind he is to his followers. My favorite example was one of his "generals" came to be by him being a tiny little dude on nurgles shoulder, he was watching nurgle make his greatest disease yet when he got too close and fell in, not wanting to drown the tiny follower drank everything in the cauldron where the disease was to be made. The tiny follower looked up at nurgle and was crying and apologizing for ruining his best work, but papa nurgle picked up the little one up and said " you are my greatest work" and now the tiny guy became a fierce general that goes to the physical world to get nurgle more ingredients for his diseases.
I love that fact that the Horace heresy book series takes almost a full one tenth of the books in the black library

To be fair the person who told us alpharius stayed on earth was alpharius himself. And of course we cannot even trust he is alpharius let alone the stories he tells.
I can't trust myself either if I said something like that, especially if it's another Alpharius.

I wonder what might've been had the Emperor not left that throne to accept Horus' challenge. All Big E had to do was just sit on that throne, keep that daemonic rush at bay and just watch since Horus and his allies were apparently making very little or perhaps just scarily slow progress sieging Terra with the ultramarines, and maybe others, potentially closing in faster than the siege was progressing. so basically, the Imperium might've still had an emperor and maybe some of the loyalist primarchs if he chose to just sit on his ass for once.

Couple other details to know: Humanity's primate ancestors were also made by the Old Ones, the War in Heaven ended when a Warp race known as the Enslavers showed up and either killed or chased off most of the Old Ones and their races, and the Emperor was born by a bunch of ancient human shamans seeing the threat of Chaos and ritualistically sacrificing themselves to make the Emperor to fight them.
Oh, and the Orks were once the Krorks and were, at minimum, 12 metres tall*. Yes, Metres. But (supposedly) a lack of good fighting de-evolved them.
*For context, a Warboss that was at least 10 metres tall was powerful enough to lead a Waaagh! that almost destroyed the entire Imperium. They even managed to invade Terra.

@@mikoajciemiega8018 He didn't say it wasn't canon, he just said it was very old lore and that may not be canon but also has not been refuted yet.
Lutein is basically saying to hold reasonable doubt, that fans shouldn't consider it as the definite origin until we hear about it again. That Warhammer is fulled of myths and speculation.
And nothing so far in has completely refuted the shaman origin.
Need to be informed during the age of technology, human are overpowered as heck. Maybe as strong as the necrons

boomer doesn't really refer to the boomer gen in any way beyond it being an older generation. it's used now as a catch all term for anyone over 30 as a way of saying "you're old".
Overall great videos, but I severely dislike Bricky mislabeling the Imperium like that, just giving new people an incorrect impression. The Imperium is a theocratic oligarchy, not the bad f word.
The Imperium is absolutely a fascist state. It's an extremely authoritarian and oppressive state that's highly militaristic and hierarchical that brutally suppresses any internal opposition.
They just also happen to be an oligarchic theocracy.
@@HappyMan0203 All those details you list don't make it a facist state. Many other forms of governance exist that have those traits that are not facist. Theocratic oligarchy being one.
It is not fiesable or possible for the Imperium to be facist, because of how vast it is. It is simply impossible to exert the necessary control for it to be such a state over so many planets that are so spread around. Doubly so now Failbadon's tantrum split the galaxy. The only viable way to govern this much space is to let planets individually govern themselves, a detail that by default makes the Imperium not a facist state, with the only demands placed on them being "Worship the Emperor and pay your taxes, be they financial, supplies or manpower.".
I give you this, there is without a doubt planets subservient to the Imperium that are actually facist. I am not saying it doesn't exist at all. But there is basically any and all manner of government system on the myriad of worlds in the galaxy. However, the Imperium does not care how they govern themselves, as long as they worship the Emperor and pay their taxes.
I extend to you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't just using facist as a catch all term for "super mega bad" friend, so I hope this dialogue can conclude amicably and with reason. Have a good night.
If your only issue with the Imperium and what it gets up to is it being mislabeled as "fascist", there's a can of worms I don't wanna open. "Yeah I was down with the zealous xenophobia corpse-worshippers, but then I heard they were fascists and I just can't vibe with them now."
The imperium is definitely fascist with how big and disorganized it is there’s probably some sectors that are fascist
