Back in the day In had a lot of those big shells (found them on a beach somewhere on a holliday), but didn't know what to do with them and finally I gave them to a thriftshop. Now I wish I still had them to decoupage, they look so beautifully 😊

You did a great job on this shell. So beautiful! Thanks for showing us how you decoupaged it so nicely. I'll be trying this.

Love them Lynne! They would make lovely Birthday/Christmas gifts if you put for example 2 or 3 nail varnishes,or soaps etc in them. Thank you for sharing. Pleased you are better 💐🌹xx

Love them both but I would paint the back of the small shell with some glitter to add some bling

Lovely work. What beach in Scotland do you find the large scallop shells? I’m up in Scotland and order my scallop shells from a chap way up north in Scotland! Would love finding my own shells as I do have many smaller ones I’ve collected over the years but prefer the larger ones for crafts. Thanks for a great video! Happy crafting! ❤

Hi Deborah. They have been found in the beach between Findhorn and Burghead, which is up near Inverness. There doesn’t seem to be as many of them these days. Thank you for watching x

I rarely ever sign into youtube from my phone. I am looking at your vdeo & im only in the beginning and you said i found this shell and dont know what to do with them. I just came back from Florida and went to a few beaches to find shells and found nothing at all like this. Only tiny shells and broken shells. I would love some big shells. I collected to make some crafts for friends and family. So came across your video. So you first said you soaked in bleach. Is that a nessesary step? Ok ill shut up and watch your videos and see what you reply. Yes im in america. I looked for those types of shells but found very tiny ones. Ok ill stop gabbing and watch .

They are Scallop shells. You can buy them in hobby shops in America. I’ve seen some ladies mention it. You can get them for cooking. This was found on a beach in Scotland. Enjoy the video x
