Hi Patti, your shells are beautiful. I love working with shells. I made me a pair of earrings out of some small ones. You can do so many things with shells. Hugs
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talents with us!! I love your videos. I am having trouble finding these to buy in Australia. I have been wanting to do this for a while now and seeing this video has given me so much inspiration. Do you sell these beautiful shells ?
hello Catherine...I do not (yet) sell the shells but I love doing them so much I plan to in the future.... You may want to check Facebook to see if there are any decoupage groups around you, they can be an amazing resource on finding products near you. :)
Hi, question about painting the shells white before applying the napkin. This is my first time to decoupage, and have watched a number of your videos. Here, you recommend DecoArt Chalky Finish, but in other videos, I have seen you use Bin Primer and Liquitex Gesso. Which do you recommend the most? Also, if I were to use just the Bin Primer, would I have to apply chalk paint after? Then for the DecoArt Chalky Finish and Liquitex Gesso, do those require primers? Please advise. Thanks.
Wait,so you don't apply glue to the shell first, before adding the napkins? I've never seen anyone do it like that before. It would save so much time and looks easier..thanks so much for sharing this technique ❤
The first she'll you did , where you get them please? I had a lot long go buying stuff she'll. Now i not find more that kind she'll? Sad?.... I looking for them a long time.
I couldn’t possibly pick one over another because I love all of them. Hehe 😉 Wondering what the glitter is you used here. Didn’t see a link or name for it in your video or in list. Thanks, I can’t wait to do this.
Hello. I tried to decoupage shells for the first time. I noticed wrinkling or a crackling after I applied the napkin. How can I avoid that for the next time?
Amazon, and Ebay but if you know of any stationary stores or little out of the way gift stores, you can find some pretty little surprises there too. :)
I see so many of these decoupaged shells being sold on Etsy as salt and pepper cellars/dishes. They are lovely and I would like to make some for our local craft fair BUT i don't know what varnish is actually food safe to use for these. Can anyone help?
Thank you so much for another technique to decorating seashells.
