I could easily picture her singing that song in a 1970's film in a Las Vegas lounge. Definitely has that jazzy feel to it. I would love to hear her sing a different genre. That Vegas nightclub sound is not my thing but her voice is spot on. Very smooth & crisp when need be.
The growth Gigi’s voice has! She was already gooooood before, but she tends to be inconsistent then. But now is a different story! She’s one of the more technical singers out there and her versatility is off the charts! 💜

It's good to hear that finally somebody paid notice to the way Gigi pulled back from belting the first chorus. Among the reactions I've watched you are first to notice that, thank goodness. But then, you noticed something I missed when, near the end, you wondered whether she took a breath/pause during her full blown belting section. I totally missed that. Thank for pointing that out. For me, she is treasure the Philippines has during the pandemic. Good reaction!

I thought it was a very good effort. I was missing a lot of the raw heart felt interpretation by legendary Chaka Khan, but as the song progressed, it went from a very jazzy sound into this very impressive pop rock ending with amazing head voice control
