Okay, in my bias against 'today's music', which I find hard to listen to, I will admit that I am missing some great singers, such as this young lady. Thanks for opening me up to this amazing voice.
Gigi is the kind of artist, singer that doesn't just mesmerize you with their versatile voice, but tells you a narrative story.
A great example where the singer serves the song rather than herself and in the process of making the song beautiful the song glorifies her which a certain singer from Kazakhstan could take lessons from. A masterclass in tonality variations and playfulness in vocal texture without losing sight of the meaning of each phrase delivered.
Hope Gigi is healthy and back to making this world a better place soon!

I love your reaction because it teaches us what's great about Gigi, her voice, her skills and artistry. You were right about the ending of the song where she seems to be crying. My two year old niece loves to listen to this video but the first two or three times whenever she got to the ending, she would turn her face from the screen and press it against my chest and refuse to finish watching, which puzzled me. Later I realized that she felt sad at the thought that Gigi was crying and it was only after seeing Gigi smiling and waving at the end of her performance that she adjusted and learned to enjoy watching the whole thing altogether.
