Gigi is the jazz queen of the Philippines. She lives in her house with her band members. They all sleep in what should be the living room. They are all like family. That studio she performs in is smaller than my spare bedroom. Support her everyone, she is funding her mother's cancer treatment....Did I tell you that she arranges all of her own music? Edit: FYI. She sang wanna dance with somebody about 9 months ago. You should review the performance.

She is a chameleon, in their home studio. She is a true singer 3 hrs a night 4times a week! Listen to her version cover of Alanis Morissette or or other songs like that! She has been started competing in one of popular Philippine National Singing Competition when she was 13 years old and became among of the finalists but unfornately she didn't win But in the following competition, the management of that said singing competition give another to join again and she did win finally and she has been hired by that said TV station to be one their singing talents as TV program perfomer. Since that, she has formal voice lessons conducted by well known Voice Coaches and great musicians who are also staffs of that said TV station.
It took time but you finally found Gigi! 😍😍😍 Karen Carpenter tone with the mad skills of the great Jazz, RnB and Punk Rock singers rolled into one!

Love love Gigi. It feels surreal for someone to be that pretty to sound that good. Her vocal reminds me so much of Karen Carpenter of The Carpenters but with range. Very classic voice. Like Mori, she has covered quite a variety of musical styles, but she excels at some of these older, jazzier songs. I highly recommend the recent versions of Better Days, L-O-V-E, Fly Me to the Moon, Officially Missing You. All superb!

Glad you’ve finally found Gigi De Lana. Yes, on this occasion she tailored her vocal expressions akin to vintage jazz… which to me reminds me of the late Natalie Cole (daughter of jazz musician Nat King Cole). The nuances are unmistakably vintage club jazz but with her own wonderful unique voice with more metallic overtones. I think you will really enjoy her other cover of Dianne Reeves’ song “BETTER DAYS.”

As a big fan of Gigi, thank you so much for reacting to her. Her channel has an abundance of great song covers and you could pick any one of them and you won't be disappointed. My personal faves are Lost Stars, Officially Missing You and her most recent, I Don't Wanna Wait. Speaking of I Wanna Dance With Somebody. I think she sang it on her livestream a couple of weeks ago and she slayed it.

Good reaction to Gigi. Dont get mad but Gigi is from the Philippines just like Morissette😀🇵🇭. She is amazing as well. She performs live online concerts with her band 2x a week. You can also check out her "Better Days" cover. She was badass in that one. The band also showed what they can do.
They actually did a self analysis of this performance, She explained that she does speak the words in full with her voice but not with her jaw. She was using a "smiling" technique as she called it when she was singing this. But she has the Karen Carpenter or Audrey Hepburn tone. Here in the Philippines, she started singing as early as 13 years old joining singing contests, doing events, weddings, bars and all. This group of musicians also did stints as a jazz wedding band along with Gigi.

I love the things you are noticing about her, it helps explain why I am in love with her singing. I look for singers who have a nice tone, and then can hopefully hit notes in different keys with emotion, without obviously ,screaming. Your right, she keeps it simple, and her natural singing voice is so amazing ,i don't want to her to change keys, but when she hits those high notes, it's so emotional for me , I lose it.
First I had to say this coz in all reactors that I've seen you're the rare one, I mean to say you're not annoying at all and for singing reactors you give much detailed info into it and not just reacting with your face lol and you're just you such a genuine person unlike some reactors do they overdo it and it's cringe(not to be mean but it's true). Last month they perform on Middle East Expo 2020 they had their solo concert in Dubai, Abu Dhabi also in Bharain. Their group started when Gigis mother needs financial assistance due to nrrast cancer they do a fund raising campaign as of now her mother continued her medicine
