    Awareness gives the mind its own reality and the mind gives the world its own reality.

    Sometimes is better to not share your awareness, because... by itself

    That is why awareness will never be understood using the scientific method, because science is based in subject object experience. The first thing the questioner has to do, is to get rid of all the knowledge and memories he has accumulated through his life and find the answer to the question Are you aware that you are aware? Based only in his most intimate present moment experience.

    Does Awareness give this body mind it's thoughts and.choices...?

      After having understood that the body and mind are modulations of pure knowing, that it's neither within nor external to it but pure awareness in and of itself then Yes. When attention is set on knowing then the known loses its realness in lieu of the importance of knowing, when attention does not visit the knowing then the known gains its reality.

      Great question and I presume you know the answer: Yes. Only infinite Awareness exists, so that kinda narrows down the culprit! Of course, the body/mind entity takes credit for those thoughts and choices, because they feel so darn realistic and so darn intimate. But, never-the-less, they are neither her nor hers. If they were a product of personal choice, why would anyone ever choose to have an unhappy or sad or fearful thought? Liberation is when we stop taking the voice in our head personally or seriously.

    I agree when Rupert says at the end of this video, "Physicists have never found this stuff called matter" and "Psychiatrists have never found this stuff called mind.... all that's there is infinite consciousness. A few physicists are beginning to say this."
    Who are these physicists that are beginning to say this?

    I was just in contemplating after meditation and I saw that whats known is only real by proxy of the knowing that's knows. Then I put kettle on and saw this. 😊

    How do you know its eternity and not the brain's neurons taking a break?

    • @bradstephan7886
      @bradstephan7886 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question and, ironically, both you and Rupert are correct. 1) Research 'action potential' and 'refractory period' and you will see that neurons do, indeed, "take a break" in-between thoughts. And, thank Goodness! Or, we would all suffer from one continuous, never-ending thought, with no breaks in-between thoughts! 2) Now, during these breaks in-between thoughts (or in-between perceptions and sensations) when neurons are resting (i.e., in their refractory period), do you turn into a zombie? Are you brain-dead? Are you blind? Are you deaf? Are you insensate? No! Eternal Awareness never takes a break! It needs no 'refractory period'. Therefore, infinite Awareness is primary, while the objects of thought and the objects of perception (i.e., all creation) is secondary and reliant on Awareness. In other words, objects need Awareness, but Awareness does not need objects.
