I think what get's lost on most folks is that the movie is stylistically a PG live action cartoon. It is effective at being a parody of cheap hero's journey movies, and how silly, ridiculous, and hammy some can be. Perhaps if it was less campy, and Pistachio was less annoying / childish the movie could be more appealing. But overall I like this movie. My favorite part is during the credits when they spoof the Austin Powers fembot scene, there's even a nod to Star Wars: the hacky campy style of the scene really sums up the entire spirit of the movie. I like how they don't take themselves seriously at all. If you're in on the joke that is the movie you'll laugh your butt off, but if not you'll be wishing this movie was Austin Powers. Wish they would've kept the stupid bit where the dog was the grandfather the whole time. Adds to the so bad it's good vibe. They should've worked harder on the multiple disguises / characters that Dana portrays. I would've liked to have seen more Marx Brothers impressions: the little bit we saw was good.
The fact you typed 10,000 words to compliment this movie disturbs me. Dana Carvey can be funny but this is like someone dressing up for kids and trying to make them laugh and I think even for 5 year olds that be a very tall order. You disgust me and have a horrible day. 😉
In 2002 during Nickelodeon's 15th kids awards Dana Carvey was there in his turtle costume with Steve Irwin the (Crocodile Hunter) in Santa Monica also with Adam Sandler.

As much as I liked the film and grew up with it. Back then, I thought it was entertaining, now, I wouldn't say it's good or bad. I just wouldn't watch it often.
The Master of Disguise is a huge guilty pleasure for me! I know critics absolutely destroyed it, but I'm sorry, I find it funny! Is it stupid? Sure, but it's still hilarious, and these deleted scenes had me cracking up laughing! Especially the toy fair one. "How about this? This is the world's first giant yoyo! Look at that, whoo, oh! Whoopsi kadabra! It looks more like a no-yo!" "Oh, run Jennifer! Oh, run away! Oh, goodness Jennifer run!" 🤣🤣🤣
If the film had a better story plot, more inventive comedy for kids and adults alike, a solid gold script, and better characters, that would've been splendid in my opinion.
I dont get why this movie it so low rated. It's clearly for children and I remember finding it hilarious as a kid. I still find parts amusing as an adult such as al pacino or the toys guy.
I felt the extended scene with Mr. Peru should’ve made the Final Cut, saw part it in the trailer.
Thank you for the upload

Ever wonder if the reason God stays in heaven is because, he too lives in fear of what he's created? 😂
Finally we get to see all the deleted scenes!
Think the alternate ending was actually better, even if more ridiculous
What's funnier? Pre Mcu Captain America or George Bush?
@@GrosvnerMcaffrey back then probably George Bush! However the way they wrapped the story up is for sure better in the alternative ending.
@@TheGamingManiacAgreed, felt more like a real ending at least
Dana's an accomplished drummer irl
He sure is, he's done that a lot in Wayne's World and Saturday Night Live.
Neat

3:27 All that Cast
Yep, That was Chelsea Brummet, Kyle Sullivan, Shane Lyons, Jack DeSena and Lisa Foiles. It is a shame when their scene didn't make it in the final cut
No Gio or Bryan?

And immediately starting off with an introduction from the turtle guy 🤦♂️
Does this make Master of Disguise part of the MCU?
IDC if this movie is good or bad. I appreciate the fact that this movie came out when it did.

Everything falls so flat. I've often wondered, when I'm reminded on this awful movie, if Carvey purposefully bombed everything.
Even the towers?
This is a gem 💎 sir...
No it was a try hard measure and I like this movie for what it is

Jesus christ how are these somehow worse than what's in th e original?
They're deleted scenes, potentially for a reason lol
The mayor bit is the one thing that got even a chuckle out of me… and it’s not even in the movie.
Omg this is crazy after all these years. Looks like they cut the worst acting out for sure 😂
childhood! ;)
It's a good thing they left out these scenes, otherwise the movie might not have made any sense.
That deleted Scarface scene is funnier than anything that actually made it into the movie.

so basically if it was a completely different movie XD
@@Rebochan Precisely, but a much better movie and an even bigger hit.
In a recent review of this movie, one commenter said that this movie would’ve been better as a Nicktoon.
@@roberttreacy8271 True that, it would've been produced and animated by Hanna Barbera.
"ooo thats refreshing"
3:36 The Dallas Cowboys run game
11:17 Now I know why they changed that cigar scene remplaced by the nose scene. That was too ugly
still hilarious
The Capitain America scene was funny and not bad at all.
WHO approved this???
Tuuuuuuurtle

Hmm?
Honestly Jennifer needed to show her belly button in most scenes
This film was so bad😂😂
