Not an Indian, but if I'm not mistaken the Indian military is known to be not very keen to give active technical assistance to its production companies, fearing unintended leaks of classified military data. Thus the production houses are forced to do some 'educated' guess to fill in the gaps. I'm not talking about influences of the masses - they want pure entertainment, not detailed technical documentary-like shows.

I have to admit even though I am an Indian that nice editing. Pakistani air force is good in editing these type of dogfight scenes but not in real aerial warfare. Remember the F-16 shot down by a third generation fighter😅.
