Don't get me started on corrector/concealer pencils (big staple for me). Everything is yellow or orange. Lots are also just too dark, or weirdly gray-ish. And some just lack luminosity? They just give dull putty. Now I'm gonna see if you have any vids on that. Btw, Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencil in Boundless Bisque is doing the job not too badly at the moment--it's just a bit light. Still searching similar-but-a-bit-deeper to augment it (since my faves were discontinued).

Same. I always gravitate back to MAC Lip Pencil in Vino. It's super-duper pigmented so it takes a light touch. But the shade works on me (cool pinky-pink undertones) and they last a long time. And, big bonus (imo), it's a regular, sharpenable, fine-point wooden pencil

Just subbed :-) Wanted to share another awesome lip liner that works for us, Maybelline Color Sensational in 'Gone Griege' is as cool toned as it gets without being gray, sooo nice. Those Sephora liners in the Nudist and Sink or Suede are my everyday go to's as well. Been meaning to make a video on this subject as well but fun to see what your fave picks are!
Light medium very cool and olive here. 😊 My favorite lipliners of all time are these two that give me the ‘nude’ look. Mauve by Tarte, and Addiction by Rimmel. My favorite lipstick of all time is Lisa Eldridge Skyscraper Rose. I also love Lawless in Daisy Pink.
Right? Like, can there be a makeup brand at sephora that has half cool tone colors? Every makeup brand there is 70% warm toned in their collection and finding a cool color is a needle in a haystack. So I buy an expensive lipstick, go home, and it looks orange or brown on me. If I do find a cool toned color it's always a berry fuchsia or magenta (which makes me look like a clown, I hate that color) or a very light, almost looks warm neutral tan lipstick. (which gives me concealer lips). There needs to be a market for cool toned makeup.

If you know of any matte or *ACTUAL* transfer proof lipsticks that are true cool toned nude-ish pleassseeee share as that has been the hardest thing to find 😩Doing a smokey navy blue/purple with a touch of teal eye makeup for a wedding lol and looking for a *true* cool toned nude with a very *slight* hint or undertone of pink/mauve to go with it that will be long lasting and won't transfer while having a drink and what not. The struggle has been real when it comes to finding the perfect cool toned matte lip 🙁

Okay also, if you like the velvety mousse textured lippies, i found one made by Joah, they sell a few colors at CVS, and the color “walk of shame” is a PERFECT very light, cool toned pinky nude. I highly recommend, plus it’s affordable!

Everything pulls orange on me and it seems at one point I asked for your help so I appreciate you doing this! Merit Baby looks good for me on you but the online swatch looks to warm... Same with Flower Beauty Blush Rose. I do like that these are in my price range! I do sometimes wear all black and have black lip gloss from Kikiz Cosmeticz but if you could recommend something more grayish cool goth under $10-$15 that would be great!!! Love ya for doing this! It really helps keeping the lipstick stay for way longer! I just got my m102 lipstick from MOB and there is nothing like it ❤ (closest color to maybellines gone greige) and the texture is just incredible 10/10 Really want the Mac lipstick, rituel de fille lipstick and MOB black balm ✨

I thought I'd share my current favs: Benefit floratint, Chanel Pivoine lipliner - mauve nude with some berry, RMS go nude lipliner in Morning dew - a neutral rose nude. Also NYX Nude beige, but either they're having some shade consistency issues or these have been reformulated much warmer :-((( Would LOVE to see a gloss edition. Have you ever tried the Fitglow lip serums? You might love some of their cool shades. Also you reminded me how good those Honest beauty lipbalms are.

Just wanted to throw this out there for those fair skin cool toned girlies who are looking for a matte lipstick: _Just to Note_ I am one of those true natural blondes who's hair colour is now a dark blonde due to age (40) yet my eyebrows and lashes are still quite blonde 🙄😅, skin tone is quite fair but not exactly pale and I definitely have some pink in my cool undertone (but could never wear any foundation with a pink undertone in it). I can wear a neutral foundation np (depending on brand and their colour range obviously), _example -_ *Haus Labs* foundation I wear in the shade *070 Fair Neutral* which is a perfect match after testing at my local Sephora. My lips aren't completely pale as they do have some colour to them but they are still quite light with like a very light cool mauve undertone to them if that makes sense lol. I just wanted to throw that all out there so ppl reading this can get a picture in their head of what I am talking about lol, and if they feel after reading this they have the same or similar tones to their skin that this lipstick may look quite similar on your own lips. So anyway, if looking for a matte lip and wanting a _"your lips but better"_ type of shade I would highly suggest checking out L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick in the shade 105 Breakfast in Bed. I would also suggest checking Amazon as it's usually much cheaper on there compared to your local drugstore unless the drugstore has it on sale. _(I know for me it was $20 Canadian at my local drugstore compared to $11.98 on Amazon.ca)_ I will share a link to some photos I took after applying a light swatch on my lips. The photos aren't the best because a) the first photos I took were inside my truck at night so very poor warm lighting and b) even the photos I took at home using my ring light aren't completely true to how the shade looks in person, coming off a little warmer in the photos. imgur.com/a/l-al-breakfast-bed-matte-lip-cS1VG3v Also, photos will look differently to everyone depending on the device their using, their screen light settings, etc. I'm also not wearing any makeup in these photos other than the lipstick lol so the rosiness in my _slightly_ damaged very dry and dehydrated skin is showing a lot which will also cause any cool toned shade nude lipstick I wear to look a little bit more pink/peach on me lol. Since this was a swatch from a lipstick at the drugstore I first applied it on the back of my hand and then used my pinky to apply it onto my lips 🤭sooo unfortunately it was more of a lighter application. The shade did look pretty much just as strong as it did on my hand though. It dried very quickly and didn't/doesn't feel sticky or tacky or even drying in any way! I also picked up an iced coffee after I left and there was absolutely no transfer onto the white straw. Sooo ya hopefully this helps cause I know for me it was a *REAL* struggle trying to find a nude matte lipstick for my fair cool skin tone 😕😅 I am hoping I can add some clear gloss on top and that the colour still won't transfer as my goal was to find a transfer proof lipstick for a cpl of wedding events I will be attending and I really cannot stand it when my lipstick starts coming off whenever I have a drink or a bite of something lol, especially at an event such as a wedding. For an everyday lip I am totally fine with creams and satins and what not that I will need to reapply throughout the day, but as I said sometimes a transfer proof lipstick is needed lol

Love your hair color here! Unsure if you’re trying something new but it looks so harmonious with the cool tones. My favorite cool toned lip liner is the Sephora collection granted I have to keep applying it because it doesn’t last but it’s worth it to me because the shade is perfection. I’ve become a total fan of the NYX line loud one though for when I want something long lasting. I would love to see a gloss version of this, as well as eyeshadow! One area I actually really struggle with is eyebrows even though I have medium brown hair I’ve found using taupes works the best at blending in seamlessly
Thank you! It’s mostly my natural hair color growing out, plus recently washed with purple conditioner. I definitely prefer the cooler hair on me! Eyebrow shades can be such a struggle too! I don’t even bother unless the shade is taupey

I just wanted to throw that all out there so ppl reading this can get a picture in their head of what I am talking about lol, and if they feel after reading this they have the same or similar tones to their skin that this lipstick may look quite similar on your own lips.
So anyway, if looking for a matte lip and wanting a _"your lips but better"_ type of shade I would highly suggest checking out L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick in the shade 105 Breakfast in Bed. I would also suggest checking Amazon as it's usually much cheaper on there compared to your local drugstore unless the drugstore has it on sale. _(I know for me it was $20 Canadian at my local drugstore compared to $11.98 on Amazon.ca)_ I will share a link to some photos I took after applying a light swatch on my lips. The photos aren't the best because a) the first photos I took were inside my truck at night so very poor warm lighting and b) even the photos I took at home using my ring light aren't completely true to how the shade looks in person, coming off a little warmer in the photos. imgur.com/a/l-al-breakfast-bed-matte-lip-cS1VG3v
Also, photos will look differently to everyone depending on the device their using, their screen light settings, etc. I'm also not wearing any makeup in these photos other than the lipstick lol so the rosiness in my _slightly_ damaged very dry and dehydrated skin is showing a lot which will also cause any cool toned shade nude lipstick I wear to look a little bit more pink/peach on me lol.
Since this was a swatch from a lipstick at the drugstore I first applied it on the back of my hand and then used my pinky to apply it onto my lips 🤭sooo unfortunately it was more of a lighter application. The shade did look pretty much just as strong as it did on my hand though. It dried very quickly and didn't/doesn't feel sticky or tacky or even drying in any way! I also picked up an iced coffee after I left and there was absolutely no transfer onto the white straw.
Sooo ya hopefully this helps cause I know for me it was a *REAL* struggle trying to find a nude matte lipstick for my fair cool skin tone 😕😅 I am hoping I can add some clear gloss on top and that the colour still won't transfer as my goal was to find a transfer proof lipstick for a cpl of wedding events I will be attending and I really cannot stand it when my lipstick starts coming off whenever I have a drink or a bite of something lol, especially at an event such as a wedding. For an everyday lip I am totally fine with creams and satins and what not that I will need to reapply throughout the day, but as I said sometimes a transfer proof lipstick is needed lol

Love your hair color here! Unsure if you’re trying something new but it looks so harmonious with the cool tones. My favorite cool toned lip liner is the Sephora collection granted I have to keep applying it because it doesn’t last but it’s worth it to me because the shade is perfection. I’ve become a total fan of the NYX line loud one though for when I want something long lasting. I would love to see a gloss version of this, as well as eyeshadow! One area I actually really struggle with is eyebrows even though I have medium brown hair I’ve found using taupes works the best at blending in seamlessly
