I was here a week before the rally this yr. and I couldn't believe how many bikes were in the area. I rode this this about 8 yrs. ago with some friends. We rushed through it but when I was here this yr. by myself I took my time. It was awesome. Took my time and really enjoyed myself. Found free camping just outside the badlands through the B.L.M. (bureau of land management). If your a vet you get into national parks free. I went to check out the abandond nuke missel site but it was closed. Covid I guess. Found a site in No. Dakota run by the local historical society (if I remember right). Very cool to see.
