@@mike-d Hey Mike - just wanted to thank you for sharing this. I see some people have liked your comment, so you've no doubt helped them also. Good on you for finding the solution, and helping others also! 😃
Easy solution!! Thank you! You should remove the older version though - I spent too much time following that version until I realized it was out of date.
I edited this set up to allow for fixed "prev" and "next" buttons to be placed at the bottom left and right of the page. To do this I removed all images and text aside from the prev/next custom attributes wrappers and the empty state wrapper custom attribute wrappers set to a z-index higher than what ever text I use to prompt the "prev" and "next" I also used a link box instead of a text link so that I can set to to respond to the size of my text, which is currently dictating the height and width of my individual wrappers over all. This allows me to have only prev show when I'm at the end, and only next show when I'm at the beginning. Would I be infringing if I set this up as clonable content for other "swiss style/typographic" designers to use? This seams to be the only relatively simply tutorial to follow, but I feel like it's over the top with css style and excess divs when most people want just a prev/next button.
The current solution wasn't working for me (link wasn't clickable) Solved it by: 1. I removed the "current" link 2. Made sure the target divs weren't link blocks 3. removed all classes & styling from the target divs
You guys are killing it!
Thanks so much for making this guys, it's awesome peeps like you that actually make Webflow a fun and viable solution for more complex projects!
Thank you! Without Finsweet, I wouldn't have been able to pull this off.
Is it possible to loop, so if you end up at the last post, the next post will be the first? Thanks for your work, appreciate it!
👌 I'm having some luck inserting a collection inside the empty state. Then adding a filter to it, equaling the first or last post.
@@mike-d Damn, thats great!
Awesome idea @@mike-d

Thank you Joe. You have great hair.

You guys rock!
Great tutorial, thank you. Is there a way to hide UI elements of prev /next items and leave only prev/next buttons?
have you found a solution?
ditto to this! a next & previous button would be a great option

Thank you so much. It does work for me, unless one thing - it's not clickable to the next page...
check my reply I found a solution
How can i make a loop? When I get to the last page, clicking next sends me back to the first one
How to loop the last post with the first one? To avoid empty state

this is not working in 2024
Is there a limit of 100 posts for prev/next? I noticed that after page 101 in the single/detailed page, the pagination is no longer visible.
Were you able to find a solution for this?
Same question as @matthewverdini274. I've run into this issue as well. :(
I have the same problem. I have a blog of over 2000 posts, and I'm afraid this solution doesn't work past the first 100 posts.

Hi Arnau! sorry, which ones are the target divs?
Hello, I do not understand how to use it only with buttons. : S
How can i just have a text saying "previous" or "next" with this solution?
Is there anyway to do this but not to change the page? I'm trying to make a lightroom style pop-up that goes through team members
