Awesome, can you explain the history of the slave labor they employ and the deplorable working conditions they force their "workers" to endure? Yeah unfortunately there's not much the general public can do. Making a song really won't do anything because we're dealing with massive corporations like Nike, Adidas etc who can hire lawyers and they basically have a monopoly over the whole system. But yeah, we could protest and get new laws made.
I've been to a few Nike manufacturing factories in China and people in the US have this misconception of what the factories look like. Even though they make wages that to us is not acceptable, the working conditions were safe and clean and they are treated better by nike than what I observed in some other companies factories. Until every company uses a local workforce, it will always be outsourced to a country where the workforce gets paid less. Its the only way you are able to afford the clothes you already consider expensive, and the only way they are able to stay competitive with the many other companies that outsource cheaper labour.
