In late 2017/early 2018 the group's planned debut was getting close but CUBE Entertainment was very uncertain how to promote them. Girl crush? - CUBE's other girl group at the time, CLC, had been pushing into that concept, but a cute concept for (G)I-DLE didn't seem right either. So CUBE kept putting off the decision and when it reached the point that (G)I-DLE's debut was being pushed back, Soyeon lost patience and went to company management with her own proposal for the debut. Although Soyeon only had limited experience songwriting and producing, CUBE allowed her to develop the song that became their debut "Latata". When "Latata" blew up IMMEDIATELY upon release - (G)I-DLE got their first music show win a week after debut - Soyeon got the green light to keep creating, and has written and produced every title track since. CUBE Entertainment does MANY things wrong, but one thing they did RIGHT was to recognize Soyeon's talent and let her run with it.

iz-one was a project group formed from produce 48 thats why they have disbanded, also most of the girls have redebut in new groups or as soloists, two are in le sserafim and two are in ive.

Yes soyeon is the leader and g-idle is entirely self produced mainly by soyeon. She is credited in writing for about 90% of their songs and if she isn’t writing Minnie or Yuqi are. They are so so talented and are such an original group (if you check out more of them I recommend songs like “UH OH” or “HWAA”

I think every fan of Pixy has the exact same thoughts about them as you had. They deserve so much more. I'm looking forward to experiencing them live next week. Honestly, there are a lot of underrated/underappreciated groups out there. Its a dirty shame.

For Itzy I definitely recommend checking out their debut "Dalla Dalla" and for Pixy I HIGHLY recommend "Bewitched (Eng Ver.)" you're gonna freaking LOVE it. Also LOONA has tons of great songs they are an absolute power group but I think "So What" and "Why Not" are gonna be up your alley!

A note about PIXY: two members you saw in the ‘Addicted’ music video are no longer apart of the group unfortunately and left the group due to mental health issues. However they will be officially adding another member to the group on Oct 13 so that’s exciting! I do recommend checking out their music and discography because it is just amazing! ❤️
Always nice to see more people finding Pixy. They are such an amazing group and even with the recent lineup changes, I'm sure they're gonna keep killing it. On a related note, I'm gonna throw out a recommendation for a group called Craxy and their song Undercover. You'll probably not get many requests for them as they are incredibly small and underrated massively, even compared to Pixy, but I really cannot stress enough just how good they are.
LOONA is a 12 member group under Blockberry Entertainment. Their entire debut cost 8x as much as TWICE’s, which was about $3 million won(I believe). The members are (in debut order) Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, ViVi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry (it’s hard to pronounce but most of us pronounce it similarly to Cherry), Yves (Eve), Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye (Hye is pronounced Hey). The subunits are LOONA 1/3 (consisting of members Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul and Vivi), LOONA Odd Eye Circle (consisting of Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry), and LOONA yyxy (consisting of Yves, Chuu, Go Won and Olivia Hye). Yeojin is not an official member of any of these subunits, as she made her solo debut when she was 14 years old and was still in school, but she has said that she represents the / in LOONA 1/3. They have six title tracks thus far, those being Hi High, Butterfly, So What, Why Not, PTT, and Flip That. They recently began their very first World Tour as 11 members (Chuu was unable to participate due to scheduling issues), and also participated in the survival show called ‘Queendom 2’, where they competed for the title of ‘Best Female Kpop group’ alongside groups like VIVIZ (which consists of former GFRIEND members Sinb, Eunha and Umji) , soloist Hyolyn, Kep1er (pronounced Kepler), WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls), and Brave Girls. They took second place on the show even after being absent from the first round (all 12 of the members contracted Covid at the same time), which boosted their popularity immensely. Originally, LOONA had two music show wins prior to going on the show, but after the show, they were able to win 3 additional music show wins during their promotions for ‘Flip That’. One of LOONA’s BSides, ‘Star’ made it to US pop radios after making a debut at #40 on the Billboard music chart making them the second girl group (after BLACKPINK) to make it in the top 50, and the 6th kpop group overall to break into that top 50.

IZ*ONE were a produce 101 group so they were only temporary although their contract lasted longer than other groups (IOI, Wanna one, Kep1er etc). It’s so crazy seeing this mv again because they all look so young. The one you recognised is Eunbi and she’s currently a soloist so you might’ve seen some of her solo music.
To add on to that, IZ*ONE is made up of both Korean and Japanese members (The Japanese members came from the largest girl group in the world called AKB48). The survival show is called ‘Produce48’ (it’s part of the produce101 series that created I.O.I) and the 12 members are Chaewon, Sakura, Minju, Wonyoung, Yujin, Nako, Hitomi, Eunbi, Yuri, Yena, Chaeyeon (who is the older sister of Chaeryeong from ITZY), and Hyewon.

Some things to know before going deep into (G)I-DLE Soyeon created Latata because CUBE Entertainment couldn't give them a suitable debut song, she was 19 yo at that time (almost 20) but it was just the starting of our journey ! She then created and (co)produced almost every single song and every song used as a main song (Title Track) are Soyeon's creation. As for today, counting the last comeback (I Never Die), there is only one song where Soyeon didn't took part in any kind of way and it's Polaroid created and (co)produced by Yuqi. Soyeon is always involved at least in the lyrics because she can't rap a line/verse that she didn't herself wrote: - Because she think rappers should write their stuff, - And also because she want to express her feeling through her writing. All of (G)I-DLE members have somehow unique voices, Soyeon wasn't ok with the other members' voice coaches because they wanted them to be generic for the K-POP industry (if I understood correctly), but she thought that their atypical voices would be the group' strength. Nowadays we have a producer line, Soyeon (ofc), Minnie and then Yuqi. Minnie always had the idea to produce song as well, so she come out with "Blow your mind", which is a b-side from "I Made" their 2nd Mini album, she created it alongside with Soyeon, she then created other songs (Moon,Dahlia etc...). Yuqi then join in the producer line too, with the co-created/produced (alongside Minnie) song "I'm the Trend" which is seen as Nevies anthem. Neverland being the fandom name of (G)I-DLE. We now have 3 capable producer, that can make fire in the future and we saw it threw the album "I Never Die" or before that the album "I Burn" With "I Never Die"'s comeback Miyeon voiced her growing desire to write and produce songs too, so maybe next comeback we will have a Miyeon production too ! Soyeon released her first solo album on July 5th, 2021 which is named "Windy", the album show a different side of her. A more bubbly and bright person that she aspire to be more. "Beam Beam" being the title track, is bright have some rock aspect that really match the summer. She also have a collaboration with BIBI and Lee Youngji which are korean rappers, one the song "Is this bad b***** number" which I really recommend listening to. Yuqi did her solo debut in 2021 with "Giant" and "Bonnie and Clyde", she also used to be in "Learn Way: Season 1" also known as "Learn Wave" during 2020. Her solo debut show how deep and attractful her voice is, I highly recommend listening to it. She writed and produced "Giant". Minnie started her actress career with "So not worth it" in 2021 as well which is a Netflix' series. She also had a lot of model shoot during this year. She was feated in a Thai' song "Money Honey" alongside F.HERO and URBOYTJ. Miyeon released her first solo album "MY" on April 27th, 2022. It was a long awaited album from many fans and showcase how beautiful her vocal really is. It is a soothing and appeasing album. The album have "Drive" as it's title track which is a really ray of sunshine, the album on it's own is a very healing time to listen to. She wrote her first song in her solo debut's mini album "MY", with the song "Rain" which was produced by Yuqi as a gift to her. Unfortunately Soojin got caught in a bully scandal, which became viral because she got accused by an actress, which lead her to not being active from February 2021 to August 2021, then leaving (G)I-DLE but staying under Cube Entertainment from "August 2021" After bringing the police to the table and juridic case, it was difficult to prove whether the opposite side lied or not or whether Soojin was a bully or not since the event occurred 10-12 years ago... Which lead Soojin leaving Cube Entertainment at the beginning of March 2022. (I will not take position on this, I'm only LARGELY summarising) "Hwaa" was released January 11 2021 and since that date we didn't had group's comeback for 1 year and 2 months (I don't count "Last dance" since it's a promotional song for "Universe") and every member took a break and focused more on solo stuff. Foreigner line (Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua) going back in their countries. I will not come across everything they had done during 2021/early 2022 but it's mind blowing. Until now 2022 was a really booked year for them, wanting to compensate for the lost time they worked really hard this year. They release their first full album with "I Never Die" in March 14th, then got booked with a lot of variety shows, brand apparition, cooperation with other artists in those two matter as well. Then they booked their first ever World Tour, which started the 18th of June in Seoul and finished October 1st in Singapore. With all the hard work done during this year we couldn't hope for more, but their next comeback is around the corner: "I Love" which will be release on the 17th of October. Which once again show the dedication they have for their musics. Fellow Nevies just remember that opening fan war isn't necessarily, (G)I-DLE was always seen as black horse but in the end they always come up with good stuff. LOONA is an incredible group with 12 members with amazing charms! Before debuting in 2018 they had a debut project: each girl (almost) every month debuted with a solo song beginning in October 2016 with Heejin and ending March 2018 with Olivia Hye! They have MVs for all of the solos and even the first girls have even MVs for their bsides! They also have 3 subunits: LOONA 1/3, ODD EYE CIRCLE and YYXY and in total they have 5 albums (so 5 additional title tracks and MVs for them)! After debuting as a full group with Hi High on August 2018 they had comebacks: 2019 - Butterfy, 2020 - So What, Why Not?, 2021 - PTT (which you reacted to!), Hula Hoop (their japanese debut), 2022 - Flip That, Luminous (jp comeback)! So if you wanted more LOONA you can have more of them and im just talking about title tracks. In total they have about 100 songs to check out and their bsides are the real gold. If you ever decide to check out all of Loona's journey I recommend a guide called Avengers of KPOP - LOONA! Its a little outdated since it was made in 2019 but it shows every aspect of this group like their history, talents, community, message, lore etc but any newer guide will work as well! Correct! The newest members name is Rinji Hwang, and she will be making her official debut on the European tour. I know that for the last few months, including when I saw them in July at Otakon 2022, they had a back up dancer who did all the choreography but didn’t sing; it is unconfirmed if that was Rinji or not. But the group appears to be pushing forward! Wishing them a good European tour and success in the future! They really did an incredible job at the concerts here in the USA!

I know some people are hesitant about the lineup changes they've recently had, but all the members are crazy talented and the production behind the music is incredible. The lineup changes also fit with their lore (and the lore is awesome!), which is handy. I'm very hopeful for PIXY's future!

i’m glad you really liked loona! loona fortunately have a lot of music you can check out.. there are 12 members like you guessed, and each member has their own solo album which was apart of their complicated debut process. they also have 6 group title tracks! i’d recommend “so what” if you liked how powerful ptt is, but “why not” is also one of their best and most loved title track. another personal favorite is “pose”. pose isn’t a title track but it was a song they performed for a survival show, you can find the performance on youtube! even if you don’t react to it publicly, it’s worth the watch as it shows off their performance, dance, and vocal talents!
loona's korean name translates to girl of the month, so there's 12 members. There's a whole thing with the lore and everything, but for the moment I'd just enjoy their ballers music. Do check out their dance practices though, they're next level.
Loona is very diverse,, so you can find just about any genre of music in loona's discography. From rock to ballads to bubblegum pop to edm beat drops,, loona has done absolutely everything at least once and if they havent its most likely upcoming !! I recommend the [#] album if you like the style that ptt went for,, the more dark sort of concept. also Egoist (+ the bside "Rosy" ft Gowon) is on the darker side aswell !! 🫶

izone was formed by a survival show (produce 48), like how enhyphen and stray kids were both formed by survival shows too. Produce 48 had 101 girls from so many diff companies, mixed with girls from a japanese girl group (akb48 - they have over 100 members and more sales than any kpop girl group😳). The top 12 surviving girls debuted into izone, and their contract was set for 2 years. In those 2 years, they were able to becoe the second best selling girl group, and their members all got insane deals and promotions. Sadly it was revealed that different companies were going behind their trainees' backs and paying the show to rig votes and diff girls were rigged out :( so izone got cut a couple months short. even after this, izone was rly successfull and a lot of the members are actors or models or in their own groups now (Ive, Le Sserafim)
Pixy is from a small company, which is why I'm not surprised you never heard of them, or the group. They are so underrated it's not even funny. I have yet to see a reaction from someone that isn't blown away by their MVs and the sheer talent of the girls. I would recommend watching Bewitched next, which is a double title track with Addicted. Unfortunately, they lost 2 of their members recently for personal reasons, but from what I hear, the company has been treating them all well (in the last 1.5 years, they have given them 4 or 5 comebacks), so it was just unfortunate circumstances (injuries, anxiety/stress). I keep hoping that maybe down the road, they might come back to the group. I still hope that Pixy will make it big, they deserve it.

My 2 of my 3 favs here... PIXY deserves *way more attention*, they're all so talented, with an unique concept and high quality. They're also so nice, one of them literally accepted a "marrying" petition of one of the fans and then wore matching rings 😭😭😭💕💕💕💕 IZ*ONE was disbanded after 2.5 years, because they were a temporary group, but they were so popular there was a project trying to keep them going for at least a couple more years. Didn't work, but they still went down into K-pop history for many reasons I can't name here. But some of them being nominated as album/group awards after being disbanded, still making huge sales and ranking high in charts after 1-2 years of disbandment. The girls now have different careers and you saw them in this same video!! Chaewon + Sakura are in Lesserafim. Yujin + Wonyoung are in I'VE. Yena, Kwon Eunbi, Jo Yuri, and Chaeyeon are soloist now. Minju wanted to pursue her acting career, but she's also an MC and model. Hyewon (my bias) now is a model/actress/youtuber. Hitomi and Nako were originally from a huge Japanese group, AKB48 (so was Sakura), so they came back. Kkura came back to graduate and go back to Korea, Hitomi became the center of one of the sub groups (AKB48 team 8) and Nako became the center of the sister group HKT48, but she recently graduated to become an actress. They're all great friends and everytime they see each other in shows they run to each other, they try to do collaborations (example, Chaeyeon, Eunbi and Hitomi doing a traveling program, so did Hyewon, Eunbi and Yuri) and supoort each other's careers.

Funny you should mention about wanting to see Weeekly's darker side, as their latest comeback, Ven Para, is a complete 180 tonal change from their cheery, schoolgirl concept. Personally I like the song a lot, but it was quite divisive among the fanbase as the people who prefer their light and happy concept were disappointed in the tonal change of the group.

Girl crush? - CUBE's other girl group at the time, CLC, had been pushing into that concept, but a cute concept for (G)I-DLE didn't seem right either. So CUBE kept putting off the decision and when it reached the point that (G)I-DLE's debut was being pushed back, Soyeon lost patience and went to company management with her own proposal for the debut. Although Soyeon only had limited experience songwriting and producing, CUBE allowed her to develop the song that became their debut "Latata". When "Latata" blew up IMMEDIATELY upon release - (G)I-DLE got their first music show win a week after debut - Soyeon got the green light to keep creating, and has written and produced every title track since. CUBE Entertainment does MANY things wrong, but one thing they did RIGHT was to recognize Soyeon's talent and let her run with it.

Yes soyeon is the leader and g-idle is entirely self produced mainly by soyeon. She is credited in writing for about 90% of their songs and if she isn’t writing Minnie or Yuqi are. They are so so talented and are such an original group (if you check out more of them I recommend songs like “UH OH” or “HWAA”

For Itzy I definitely recommend checking out their debut "Dalla Dalla" and for Pixy I HIGHLY recommend "Bewitched (Eng Ver.)" you're gonna freaking LOVE it. Also LOONA has tons of great songs they are an absolute power group but I think "So What" and "Why Not" are gonna be up your alley!

A note about PIXY: two members you saw in the ‘Addicted’ music video are no longer apart of the group unfortunately and left the group due to mental health issues. However they will be officially adding another member to the group on Oct 13 so that’s exciting! I do recommend checking out their music and discography because it is just amazing! ❤️
Always nice to see more people finding Pixy. They are such an amazing group and even with the recent lineup changes, I'm sure they're gonna keep killing it. On a related note, I'm gonna throw out a recommendation for a group called Craxy and their song Undercover. You'll probably not get many requests for them as they are incredibly small and underrated massively, even compared to Pixy, but I really cannot stress enough just how good they are.

LOONA is a 12 member group under Blockberry Entertainment. Their entire debut cost 8x as much as TWICE’s, which was about $3 million won(I believe). The members are (in debut order) Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, ViVi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry (it’s hard to pronounce but most of us pronounce it similarly to Cherry), Yves (Eve), Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye (Hye is pronounced Hey). The subunits are LOONA 1/3 (consisting of members Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul and Vivi), LOONA Odd Eye Circle (consisting of Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry), and LOONA yyxy (consisting of Yves, Chuu, Go Won and Olivia Hye). Yeojin is not an official member of any of these subunits, as she made her solo debut when she was 14 years old and was still in school, but she has said that she represents the / in LOONA 1/3.
They have six title tracks thus far, those being Hi High, Butterfly, So What, Why Not, PTT, and Flip That. They recently began their very first World Tour as 11 members (Chuu was unable to participate due to scheduling issues), and also participated in the survival show called ‘Queendom 2’, where they competed for the title of ‘Best Female Kpop group’ alongside groups like VIVIZ (which consists of former GFRIEND members Sinb, Eunha and Umji) , soloist Hyolyn, Kep1er (pronounced Kepler), WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls), and Brave Girls. They took second place on the show even after being absent from the first round (all 12 of the members contracted Covid at the same time), which boosted their popularity immensely. Originally, LOONA had two music show wins prior to going on the show, but after the show, they were able to win 3 additional music show wins during their promotions for ‘Flip That’.
One of LOONA’s BSides, ‘Star’ made it to US pop radios after making a debut at #40 on the Billboard music chart making them the second girl group (after BLACKPINK) to make it in the top 50, and the 6th kpop group overall to break into that top 50.

IZ*ONE were a produce 101 group so they were only temporary although their contract lasted longer than other groups (IOI, Wanna one, Kep1er etc).
It’s so crazy seeing this mv again because they all look so young. The one you recognised is Eunbi and she’s currently a soloist so you might’ve seen some of her solo music.
To add on to that, IZ*ONE is made up of both Korean and Japanese members (The Japanese members came from the largest girl group in the world called AKB48). The survival show is called ‘Produce48’ (it’s part of the produce101 series that created I.O.I) and the 12 members are Chaewon, Sakura, Minju, Wonyoung, Yujin, Nako, Hitomi, Eunbi, Yuri, Yena, Chaeyeon (who is the older sister of Chaeryeong from ITZY), and Hyewon.

Some things to know before going deep into (G)I-DLE
Soyeon created Latata because CUBE Entertainment couldn't give them a suitable debut song, she was 19 yo at that time (almost 20) but it was just the starting of our journey !
She then created and (co)produced almost every single song and every song used as a main song (Title Track) are Soyeon's creation.
As for today, counting the last comeback (I Never Die), there is only one song where Soyeon didn't took part in any kind of way and it's Polaroid created and (co)produced by Yuqi.
Soyeon is always involved at least in the lyrics because she can't rap a line/verse that she didn't herself wrote:
- Because she think rappers should write their stuff,
- And also because she want to express her feeling through her writing.
All of (G)I-DLE members have somehow unique voices, Soyeon wasn't ok with the other members' voice coaches because they wanted them to be generic for the K-POP industry (if I understood correctly), but she thought that their atypical voices would be the group' strength.
Nowadays we have a producer line, Soyeon (ofc), Minnie and then Yuqi.
Minnie always had the idea to produce song as well, so she come out with "Blow your mind", which is a b-side from "I Made" their 2nd Mini album, she created it alongside with Soyeon, she then created other songs (Moon,Dahlia etc...).
Yuqi then join in the producer line too, with the co-created/produced (alongside Minnie) song "I'm the Trend" which is seen as Nevies anthem. Neverland being the fandom name of (G)I-DLE.
We now have 3 capable producer, that can make fire in the future and we saw it threw the album "I Never Die" or before that the album "I Burn"
With "I Never Die"'s comeback Miyeon voiced her growing desire to write and produce songs too, so maybe next comeback we will have a Miyeon production too !
Soyeon released her first solo album on July 5th, 2021 which is named "Windy", the album show a different side of her. A more bubbly and bright person that she aspire to be more.
"Beam Beam" being the title track, is bright have some rock aspect that really match the summer.
She also have a collaboration with BIBI and Lee Youngji which are korean rappers, one the song "Is this bad b***** number" which I really recommend listening to.
Yuqi did her solo debut in 2021 with "Giant" and "Bonnie and Clyde", she also used to be in "Learn Way: Season 1" also known as "Learn Wave" during 2020.
Her solo debut show how deep and attractful her voice is, I highly recommend listening to it.
She writed and produced "Giant".
Minnie started her actress career with "So not worth it" in 2021 as well which is a Netflix' series.
She also had a lot of model shoot during this year.
She was feated in a Thai' song "Money Honey" alongside F.HERO and URBOYTJ.
Miyeon released her first solo album "MY" on April 27th, 2022. It was a long awaited album from many fans and showcase how beautiful her vocal really is. It is a soothing and appeasing album.
The album have "Drive" as it's title track which is a really ray of sunshine, the album on it's own is a very healing time to listen to.
She wrote her first song in her solo debut's mini album "MY", with the song "Rain" which was produced by Yuqi as a gift to her.
Unfortunately Soojin got caught in a bully scandal, which became viral because she got accused by an actress, which lead her to not being active from February 2021 to August 2021, then leaving (G)I-DLE but staying under Cube Entertainment from "August 2021"
After bringing the police to the table and juridic case, it was difficult to prove whether the opposite side lied or not or whether Soojin was a bully or not since the event occurred 10-12 years ago... Which lead Soojin leaving Cube Entertainment at the beginning of March 2022.
(I will not take position on this, I'm only LARGELY summarising)
"Hwaa" was released January 11 2021 and since that date we didn't had group's comeback for 1 year and 2 months (I don't count "Last dance" since it's a promotional song for "Universe") and every member took a break and focused more on solo stuff. Foreigner line (Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua) going back in their countries.
I will not come across everything they had done during 2021/early 2022 but it's mind blowing.
Until now 2022 was a really booked year for them, wanting to compensate for the lost time they worked really hard this year.
They release their first full album with "I Never Die" in March 14th, then got booked with a lot of variety shows, brand apparition, cooperation with other artists in those two matter as well.
Then they booked their first ever World Tour, which started the 18th of June in Seoul and finished October 1st in Singapore.
With all the hard work done during this year we couldn't hope for more, but their next comeback is around the corner: "I Love" which will be release on the 17th of October.
Which once again show the dedication they have for their musics.
Fellow Nevies just remember that opening fan war isn't necessarily, (G)I-DLE was always seen as black horse but in the end they always come up with good stuff.
We know what they are made of, and we just need to put our hands and mind to support them, our Queens !

LOONA is an incredible group with 12 members with amazing charms! Before debuting in 2018 they had a debut project: each girl (almost) every month debuted with a solo song beginning in October 2016 with Heejin and ending March 2018 with Olivia Hye! They have MVs for all of the solos and even the first girls have even MVs for their bsides! They also have 3 subunits: LOONA 1/3, ODD EYE CIRCLE and YYXY and in total they have 5 albums (so 5 additional title tracks and MVs for them)!
After debuting as a full group with Hi High on August 2018 they had comebacks: 2019 - Butterfy, 2020 - So What, Why Not?, 2021 - PTT (which you reacted to!), Hula Hoop (their japanese debut), 2022 - Flip That, Luminous (jp comeback)! So if you wanted more LOONA you can have more of them and im just talking about title tracks. In total they have about 100 songs to check out and their bsides are the real gold.
If you ever decide to check out all of Loona's journey I recommend a guide called Avengers of KPOP - LOONA! Its a little outdated since it was made in 2019 but it shows every aspect of this group like their history, talents, community, message, lore etc but any newer guide will work as well!

@@ayushj6216 Their label stated that the 2 members left for personal health reasons, with Ella contributing vocals I believe to the the Villain era but nothing else, their label also said that the group would reorganize with a new 5th member and that their comeback would be delayed as they reorganize and prep with the new member.
Correct! The newest members name is Rinji Hwang, and she will be making her official debut on the European tour. I know that for the last few months, including when I saw them in July at Otakon 2022, they had a back up dancer who did all the choreography but didn’t sing; it is unconfirmed if that was Rinji or not. But the group appears to be pushing forward! Wishing them a good European tour and success in the future! They really did an incredible job at the concerts here in the USA!

I love a lot of the groups that you checked out today, but with PIXY being so underseen it's always extra great when someone reacts to them. I know some people are hesitant about the lineup changes they've recently had, but all the members are crazy talented and the production behind the music is incredible. The lineup changes also fit with their lore (and the lore is awesome!), which is handy. I'm very hopeful for PIXY's future!

i’m glad you really liked loona! loona fortunately have a lot of music you can check out.. there are 12 members like you guessed, and each member has their own solo album which was apart of their complicated debut process. they also have 6 group title tracks! i’d recommend “so what” if you liked how powerful ptt is, but “why not” is also one of their best and most loved title track. another personal favorite is “pose”. pose isn’t a title track but it was a song they performed for a survival show, you can find the performance on youtube! even if you don’t react to it publicly, it’s worth the watch as it shows off their performance, dance, and vocal talents!

loona's korean name translates to girl of the month, so there's 12 members. There's a whole thing with the lore and everything, but for the moment I'd just enjoy their ballers music. Do check out their dance practices though, they're next level.
Loona is very diverse,, so you can find just about any genre of music in loona's discography. From rock to ballads to bubblegum pop to edm beat drops,, loona has done absolutely everything at least once and if they havent its most likely upcoming !! I recommend the [#] album if you like the style that ptt went for,, the more dark sort of concept. also Egoist (+ the bside "Rosy" ft Gowon) is on the darker side aswell !! 🫶

My favorite girlgroup that brought me to Kpop
Their concept is amazing and they can do all type of songs!!
izone was formed by a survival show (produce 48), like how enhyphen and stray kids were both formed by survival shows too. Produce 48 had 101 girls from so many diff companies, mixed with girls from a japanese girl group (akb48 - they have over 100 members and more sales than any kpop girl group😳).
The top 12 surviving girls debuted into izone, and their contract was set for 2 years. In those 2 years, they were able to becoe the second best selling girl group, and their members all got insane deals and promotions. Sadly it was revealed that different companies were going behind their trainees' backs and paying the show to rig votes and diff girls were rigged out :( so izone got cut a couple months short. even after this, izone was rly successfull and a lot of the members are actors or models or in their own groups now (Ive, Le Sserafim)
Pixy is from a small company, which is why I'm not surprised you never heard of them, or the group. They are so underrated it's not even funny. I have yet to see a reaction from someone that isn't blown away by their MVs and the sheer talent of the girls. I would recommend watching Bewitched next, which is a double title track with Addicted. Unfortunately, they lost 2 of their members recently for personal reasons, but from what I hear, the company has been treating them all well (in the last 1.5 years, they have given them 4 or 5 comebacks), so it was just unfortunate circumstances (injuries, anxiety/stress). I keep hoping that maybe down the road, they might come back to the group. I still hope that Pixy will make it big, they deserve it.

My 2 of my 3 favs here... PIXY deserves *way more attention*, they're all so talented, with an unique concept and high quality. They're also so nice, one of them literally accepted a "marrying" petition of one of the fans and then wore matching rings 😭😭😭💕💕💕💕
IZ*ONE was disbanded after 2.5 years, because they were a temporary group, but they were so popular there was a project trying to keep them going for at least a couple more years. Didn't work, but they still went down into K-pop history for many reasons I can't name here. But some of them being nominated as album/group awards after being disbanded, still making huge sales and ranking high in charts after 1-2 years of disbandment.

Yujin + Wonyoung are in I'VE.
Yena, Kwon Eunbi, Jo Yuri, and Chaeyeon are soloist now.
Minju wanted to pursue her acting career, but she's also an MC and model.
Hyewon (my bias) now is a model/actress/youtuber.
Hitomi and Nako were originally from a huge Japanese group, AKB48 (so was Sakura), so they came back. Kkura came back to graduate and go back to Korea, Hitomi became the center of one of the sub groups (AKB48 team 8) and Nako became the center of the sister group HKT48, but she recently graduated to become an actress.
They're all great friends and everytime they see each other in shows they run to each other, they try to do collaborations (example, Chaeyeon, Eunbi and Hitomi doing a traveling program, so did Hyewon, Eunbi and Yuri) and supoort each other's careers.

Funny you should mention about wanting to see Weeekly's darker side, as their latest comeback, Ven Para, is a complete 180 tonal change from their cheery, schoolgirl concept. Personally I like the song a lot, but it was quite divisive among the fanbase as the people who prefer their light and happy concept were disappointed in the tonal change of the group.
