- It's always been a dream of mine to make a deep run in the World Series of Poker. Can I make it a reality?
The Brantzen Poker Vlog documents my journey as a poker player in Southern California. SUBSCRIBE to share the highs and lows with me as I continue to build a bankroll, and hopefully move up in stakes.

That "I'm the main character" line went crazy as hell. Good job.
Haha thanks my man
this is better poker content than 99% of what's out there. great job!
Thanks so much!!!
I don’t think you ever watched HCL before
This is my first time watching any of your videos, I have to say, your channel is the best poker channel out there. The narration, editing, and background music are all outstanding. Very entertaining to watch.
Ah wow thanks so much - I’m always working to improve on the quality and editing, so I’m glad you enjoy it!!
Loving the production quality of this one!
What an amazing vlog. The editing and pacing and just plain fun you share with us! Thank you B! KEEP IT UP!
Thanks so much Marty! Great stuff yourself btw 😁
Wow man I feel like your the voice in my head when I’m playing , great video
Thanks so much man!
My Man! Long time subscriber here. We are rooting for you to win! You played perfectly but the last hand is just unlucky. But don't lose hope!!!
Thanks so much man!! Good things to come 😄
My last 3 multi day tourneys had me exit same way....big pair AA or KK losing huge pot to a low flopped set. It's frustrating but maybe im just not good enough to lay big overpaid down on the turn to a disconnected board.
Thanks for taking us on the journey! Great little run, great video story!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully more deep runs to come
Great video. Nice to see you back and swingin' for the fences.
Thanks 🙏 doin my best
Unlucky at the end. One day the dream WILL come true. BEST OF LUCK
Thanks so much brother
Amazing content bro! We’re all rooting for you 🫶
Thanks so much Sean!
turned and rivered sets are soul crushing
Absolutely devastating
The only thing I dislike is the money sign, they’re chips, not dollars. It throws me off haha, nice vid and good luck.
Agreed haha I outsourced that part of the editing, but I’ll make sure it’s fixed for part 2
Just subscribed. Your delivery is fantastic!
Thanks so much! Appreciate it!
Great content, I appreciate hearing the logic of you decision making process.
Thanks man 🙏
Damn, this is easily one of the best poker vlog I've ever seen. Keep going bro!
Thanks so much my man!
This dude is actually quite entertaining Bravo!!!
Brantzen Poker deserves the jackpot!! Let's go!
Another banger from Brantzen.
Thanks so much my man
Great effort with the vid. It doesn’t go unnoticed
I really appreciate that - this one definitely took me awhile to edit 😅
Great video brotha.
Thanks brotha ❤️
Just found this video and subscribed. Great job. Fun video.
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it
Bros vlog quality is insane
Appreciate you man
This is awesome. Brant is my real friend in real life!
❤️
That five on the end is unlucky I think, nice run man 🤘 good try
Yeh I could’ve played it different, but always unlucky when an opponent turns a set
@@BrantzenPoker I don’t know how different you can play that. Maybe a higher raise preflop and flop but there’s a ton of hands that he’s gonna do the same thing with. 910, sevens. Hands that QQ are dominating. You have to play that somewhat risky in order to get paid. Taking down the blinds is nice but a double up is better.
@@JamieSimino if I raise bigger preflop he might’ve folded, but, honestly, could’ve easily been the same result
Love your story telling!
Thanks so much man!
That pocket 1s was awesome 😂
😁
Loved the video man good luck
Thanks so much for watching!
Brutal. Great video though. Run hot the rest of the series!
What kind of software and or video editing software do you use to make your vlogs. Good Luck 🍀 in the main
Dude!! One of your best vlogs yet!! Keep it up, you.ll do great! Your buddy Max from Long Beach! Come play at the Bike sometime!!♣️♦️
Thanks max! Hahaha always trying to get me out 😂 one of these days
Hey good video, just 1 constructive comment. Can you add in the description what event you played.
Yeah, but it’s also in the beginning of the video at the start of the tournament
Good stuff....!! Keepem coming...Peace...!
Thanks! Peace to you
Damn dude you played really well keep it up
Thanks man - will do 😄
Keep fighting! Great video!
Thanks! Will do 🙏
This video made me want to learn professional poker and I'm a day trader
😂 love to hear it
What are you yapping about in that AQ hand. Your out of position so you decide to check? As the preflop aggressor on a range bet board? Then you donk river and get paid bc they have an ace that would have paid you off on a triple barrel anyway?
lol - it’s pretty standard tournament theory to check out of position in a heads up single raised pot
hope you do amazing:)
Thanks!
That sucks so bad! Maybe when up against really good players you just get it in pre and just take the small win?
Yeah I could see that - I was just trying to find an exploit for what I was seeing thus far but maybe it was a bit ambitious or maybe just unlucky
Main character energy
❤️
Why would the graphics be in dollars if youre plaing tourney?
Anyway, great vid! 😀
Sorry about that - I outsource the last part of my editing process (the informational part) but I’ll keep that in mind and tell my editor on the next video to make those changes. As you can see in the upper right corner, I didn’t include the $ sign hahah cuz that was still my editing 😅
@@BrantzenPoker Ok, thank you for your answer!
Also, was the buy-in amount even mentioned in the video? (might be just me missing it also lol)
Yeah I put it in the title right after the intro
good luck!
Thanks!
you make good videos
I appreciate that :D
Main character
Aspiring main character
How much was it to enter the tournament?
$500
Hope you grab them in the next one.
Pocket 5's hand was gross. In the 888poker interview Jesse Lonis talked about small balling his big pocket pair, because he feels like those hands go broke the most.
Makes sense makes sense
Ugh, that table change!
Need to use some other symbol than $ for tournaments, the chip value isn't equivalent to USD.
Agreed agreed
Lets go Rampage...
Hey there young man . How have you been doing?
Subscribed!
Awesome! Welcome to the channel!
Good intro!! Would recommend removing the $ from tournament play
Totally - solid advice
Did you make the money
You’ll have to tune into part 2 to find out
Deeb decided to punt vs you then turned the nuts. Sounds about right.
Played well
❤️
12:10 the small cbet is a mistake. You've flopped well against a very good opponent. You don't want to bet small and keep his range super wide on the turn. You don't want to be guessing too much against someone like deeb. Gotta bet 25-30k on the flop to get his range. I'd say you didn't get unlucky, you just plain played bad.
Yeah that’s a totally fair opinion. With how aggressive Shaun was playing, I was looking for a spot to take a large chunk of chips but clearly it backfired
Hope is a dangerous thing in here. Red
Hope is a very powerful thing
@@BrantzenPokerso is a gun. So powerful you can accidentally blow your foot off with one if you're reckless. Not everyone is destined to be a pro and you're risking a lot by trying so I hope (ha ha) you've got an open mind for people who tell you to keep poker as a profitable side hustle
@@cliffordsymons9521 for sure - it’s a totally valid opinion, and it’s definitely not an easy path I’m on. Can’t say for sure that I know it’s gonna work out, it’s just the path I’m walking on for now
I do hope you were staked on all these.
Not staked on this one, but on the other tournaments I’ll post I was
My dreams have died many, many times
💔
Anozer dream diezzzz
Bro shun deeb is a luck box 😂
Tell me about it 😂
Fold Q J low in cost ? Cooley too tight. Then Flop K Q J
You think he bets that much with a set ?
Yes lol hence why I folded. A lot of times these older dudes are scared of getting outdrawn
@@BrantzenPoker that’s fair
how you won K9 against pocket Jacks? xd
I was the pocket jacks hand. The guy with K9 was to my left - the dealer just put my cards kinda far away from me during the runout
😅
Fold!fold!fold!!! Haha
brutallll :((
Comment
@@mikexpoker3275 you’re the best, Mike 😂
Prob not
8:25 wtf???
Yeah, how did K9 beat pocket Jacks with A-7-6-3-2 runout? Not even a sweat is right, but for the other guy!
I was the one with jacks
Lmao !
😂
