Come for a mountain pass driving experience in this rare Maserati Ghibli II GT powered by the Biturbo 2.0L V6 306HP engine. This particular car has 65 000km.
I LOVE the 90's Maserati. As much as many people prefer the older stuff or post-Ferrari [nothing wrong with that], there's something about the Ghibli, Shamal, Quattroporte, 3200GT that I adore...maybe it's because they were the latest & greatest in my childhood, so they're all my heroes. 😂
Quanto mi piacevano le Maserati di una volta: avevano, a mio gusto, interni spettacolari che coniugavano classe e sportività. Oggi, purtroppo, automobili così non ne costruiscono più…
Nice video, beatiful car. I owned a Ghibli II GT for 11 years and drove it in Europe. Amazing car (when everything worked as it should). Middle acceleration was the best part. The alternator on the other hand was not. Sitting low in the chassis it gathered road debris fast enough needing reconditioning (or swapping). Amazing manual gearbox from Getrag and the differential from Ranger worked well. Loved every kilometer driven in it, not so some of the maintenance bills. I drove last summer the same road as you in my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
My car has been dyno-ed last year at 256HP at the wheel (translate to 309HP at the Crank) in a very serious place in Bergamo. My car is 100% original, only the air filter is KN.
@@Defectedinthehouse89 Well, next time I won't dyno my car, I will just send you a video. It looks like you are able as well to know for sure that I was using 100% of the throttle, and you calculated the incline of the road in your precise evaluation. I should maybe call the company that dyno-ed the car to tell them their Dyno is lying. Thanks for your input buddy.
@@youngtimerdriver yes i can feel from the noise and throttle how much you are pushing the car. It was at 50 - 60% of gas, considered that this much lighter than modern cars this has a median output of horsepower of 230 - 240hp. Torque i cannot say maybe 350 - 400 n/m at peak.

Wonderful road, lovely car.
Maserati M3 looks great and sounds great!
And engine is kinda strange 2.0L V6 Biturbo.
Belleza, personalidad!!
Bello!
90s Alfa /Maserati has many in common in design i believe.
Buenisimo el video. Muchas gracias Saludos
Stupenda!
magnifico 🎉
Not the Fiat 500 tailgating the Maz 🤦♂️
drive from lake Como?
Interno stupendo, peccato per la poca affidabilità e reperibilità dei carissimi e rari ricambi
Incredibly has finished the travel without faillure ? lol😂
Most problems were electrical, the engine was always superbly engineered
is Passo di Spluga same as Splügen pass?
@@xlenau Yes, the swiss side is called Splugen, the Italian side is called Spluga.
you are great driver!
Non si prende mai il volante da sotto, col palmo verso l'alto
altro che i cessi elettronici di oggi...

@@pierrelemounier2602 It's a good thing that you can choose to skip the video...

Provata… tanto motore, ma sterzo non adeguato all’auto. Fa perdere la sportività.
True, the steering rack is not quick enough. But the car is more of a GT than a real sports car.
