This was my second time at this store and I couldn't believe the sale they were having!! It was unadvertised and I just got LUCKY!! I've never hit a sale like this before!! I gave myself a $300 budget, but I could have stayed all day!!

Last October, I bought out a consignment store’s inventory. Each piece was $10. I was shaking as I was grabbing Burberry, Channel, etc. It was overwhelming yet the most exciting experience of my reselling career.
Here’s the thing-we can call you lucky for hitting this sale or we can call you persistent, prepared and hard-working! I’m delighted you hit it just right. And going with the items excites you is great! Thanks for giving us all a taste of the candy store as well!

Lumen et Umbra is "light and shadow" in Latin, company was founded by high end Japanese designer, he works in Italy. Wool jackets can go for $ 300 on ebay, great find Lori!

Oh my goodness! This was a great haul. It had to be so exciting shopping for everything. It would’ve been hard for me also to leave. I know for me, I would absolutely love a follow up video on the items that you found.

Awesome haul! You may have discovered this already, but I think the cute stripe beachy pants near the end of the haul are Sea New York (not See by Chloe), which is honestly just as good if not better? Sea NY makes amazing dresses that sell really well, I don’t know much about non-dress items but the brand is very hot and that’s always a good thing!

If I find an amazing sale like this I don’t give myself a limit. Just went to a garage sale that had NWT Ralph Lauren in plus sizes and spent over $700 and paid about $5 a piece. If they were small sizes I wouldn’t have bought them but plus size I couldn’t pass up. I think I would
have bought half the store!!

New to your channel today! Hi Lori. Thank you for sharing your stories with us. I have only watched a few of your videos but…was dying at the way you described your shopping adrenaline rush and being backed up with listing, sourcing, etc. My kids kept saying, “mom, you say that all the time.” Some of these brands you mention are new to me. That is going to be very helpful.
I think Google must have heard me complain yesterday about being so backed up with listing and feeling like eBay’s algorithm is off because of my view count, watchers, sales are down that all of a sudden your channel rolls onto my random play next video list. I do watch a lot of TH-cam but have only watched thrift hauls/reselling once or twice. I forgot this was a TH-cam genre. Thank God you showed up on my TV screen! I have been reinspired to get my stuff listed, look at my process, consider other sites like What Not. Oh yea, increase my work hours. :D
Blackout shopping is a new way to describe what happens for sure. My kids were laughing at me saying, yep, shop till you drop the . No exaggeration. No stopping to eat, but definitely iced coffee. Who can eat when it’s raining amazing finds? That $5 flash sale…I may have passed out. Lol!
I really like most of the process of selling, photography, fun inexpensive packaging, description writing BUT can become a perfectionist on listing and waste time and energy on things that may not sell the item I think this causing the burn-out.
But I do always love a good treasure hunt!!! Who doesn’t!?!?! I live in Indianapolis IN area and the ‘bins’ are a lot. Goodwill has been a treasure trove except the prices increased dramatically prior to Covid. Salvation Army is decent. I need to see if our area has any of those boutique outlets. WOW! I have also found steals on stuff at Ross Dress for Less especially the clearance. We have Ross everywhere. Recently, they have increased their prices which means it’s hard to always find things that are worth reselling. T they used to be well below TJ and Marshall’s. Do you have Ross in your area? It’s hit or miss but have had some insane luck at times that keeps me going back.

I would not have put myself on a budget that day... when I go wild I stop going picking til I get a reasonable number of those things listed then I pick up again. It all balances out as you know!! Great haul!

Hi Lori. I'd have spent so much money at a $5 sale. ( Another TH-camr went to a $1 sale with great success) Jillian Harris was on the Bachelor's 5th season & the 'Bachelorette' in 2009'. She is originally from Canada. She was also one of the hosts on the 'younger hosts version' of the Canadian TV show, Love it or List it Vancouver. She has a clothing partnership with Joe Fresh for her Fall Collection.
Enjoyed your video! I’ve been in the resale business for over 20 years, mostly antiques and collectibles, but I can still appreciate a fantastic buy like this. I would definitely follow up with them so you can be there for their next $5 sale, even if it’s 6 months down the line. 😊

Holy cow you struck a gold mine, Lori! That mentality of "I wonder what I missed" is always on my mind when I'm striking gold at the thrift which makes me never want to leave. Especially when they continue to pull out new racks. But after 3-4 hours at the thrift I have to wonder when enough is enough lol

Wow!! What an awesome haul!!! I’m so jealous. I found a lemlem at the bins in Orlando when I was there on vacation in May. The tag made me pick it up. It was a very unassuming split neck tunic with a fringe and I sold it for $50!! It weighed nothing!! One of my best picks!!

Oh my gosh how have I not seen this video? My heart would be racing at a sale like that! I totally get the adrenaline/overwhelming feeling!! I would have probably grabbed a lot without looking it up and then gotten home and wished I would have. Some of those high end labels for some reason just don't sell well on the resale market! Can't believe all the NWT pieces you found!

Just a personal opinion not sure if anyone else in your community on your channel would agree but, you gave the retail value on this stuff but, as resellers we would rather know the resale value instead… like what amount you’ll sell the item for or what you think you’ll make on it etc. & maybe which platform(s) you’ll list it on…

I’m surprised you didn’t pick up more of the Eileen pieces … I probably would have bought the whole rack! It takes a bit to sell but it all sells eventually. Also I think it’s interesting that you mentioned Kate Middleton when you mentioned MM Llefleur … I think that’s why they are so popular… it’s one of her favorites O believe. Congratulations and have fun raking it in with those sales 🤑

As a Finn I always get excited about Marimekko (only 1 o is pronuced just as it is written). 'Unikko with the big flower pattern is the traditional one but they have plenty of modern clothes just as the black one in this video. Great finds, not just Marimekko!,I would have gone crazy too for just 5$!

Rick Owens is the best find I found a Rick Owens lamb leather jacket at the bins here in New York sold same day for 500 dollars, usually his name is embroidered on a black label in black thread and it’s hard to read

There is a store called Designer Consigner down here in Sarasota that has brands like that. Love your enthusiasm. You had the best time. I found a Nanette Lapore at my thrift store for $3.00 one time.
