Today I challenged myself to buy no more than 25 items at the Goodwill outlet!
I have struggled with clutter in my life and in my business, so on this trip I really focused on only inviting only quality items home!! Let's see how I did!

People speak their mind before checking facts. Dogs also find crates calming, it makes them feel safe and secure. Crate training is an important part of caring for your dog.

My last trip my bins took everything out and brought half new half old stock out. I was confused but ended up finding some amazing stuff. Found Tumi, Coach and loungefly though. So no complaints.

It is a challenge as a reseller to not just grab basically anything that has value. I've recently changed by business model to trying to only buy things I can flip for no less than $20. It's a challenge at times but I want higher profits for the amount of time vested. Good for you 👍 I'm in S.Florida, born in Mass. We are talking about moving back to NE, specifically New Hampshire. Maybe I'll see you there one day 😉

Dawn dish detergent is your best bet for grease stains.
I am really enjoying the calmness of the lighter hauls. I am also thrifting smarter these days, and it was hard at first not to pick up the bread and butter, but I enjoy scouting for better items. Fantastic Haul, Lori. The way you looked at Lumpy over your shoulder when he returned and into something on the floor 😂😂😂

@Thriftyboymom I think it's a steamed pudding mold, which is traditionally made with bread crumbs (and several other ingredients), so you're close! 😊 I'll bet there's a recipe for it in that "Joy of Cooking " book you got. Love the color of that version btw! 🩵

Great haul! I go to my bins about every other week as it is right on the way home from church and would normally be a little drive. And thank God mine are still .99 per lb. I go more often if I need something, but I don't go anywhere until I've listed what I bought. Give Lumpy kisses for me!
I feel you with the boys - I would be scared to death my 15 yr old & his friends would say something completely inappropriate - Always a house full of boys at this age - I just hate the mess they leave behind 😩 - Great Haul!! 😃

Great haul! I went to the bins today and only bought 9 things to resell and one thing for personal use. My smallest haul to date. Feels very manageable. :)

LOL that jiggy puzzle I am pretty sure was at the GW in salem nh about a month ago ... I did comps and it was not worth picking up to resell I think they wanted 6 dollars . Honestly I thought that store just threw everything away that did not sell ...I saw them breaking glass last time i was there
I appreciate that you flip the coin for something that both parties want, such a civility. I once bought one single shoe just to despise a Goodwill bin shopper because the other person wanted the shoe I got and made a big fuss about it (we both reached the pair at the same time); I would have let her have the whole pair if she was polite about it instead of raising her voice immediately.

One thing my bins do that I appreciate is that they cap off heavy items at $5..if it weighs more than a certain amount (It depends on the item as they have different prices for glass/ceramic, shoes, clothes and hardgoods) then its a flat fee for that item! Books, dvds/vhs/blu ray etc aren’t weighed either. They have their own set price. It is always so interesting to me to see how the different Goodwill bins work! Thanks for sharing your shopping trip and haul!

The Lauren hierarchy is purple label, then RRL, black label, blue label and then regular lauren - but there is also all those ones that are equal to each other although not produced anymore like polo sportsman and sportswoman and polo country. It's a great find though! And perfect for the upcoming season!

Dishwasher detergent liquid Dawn works great on getting stains out. Also, Google WD-40 because it lifts hard stains as well. I imagine it depends on what type of fabric for the WD-40, but I’ve used it to get stains out.

I was so glad to see you today, ...sad family news etc. I needed a bit of a pick me up. How great that you are sticking to your goals Lori! You are becoming more confident in your choosing for your closet and that is going to get better and better overtime. That Mr. Lumpy is terrible! But yes, keep the trash away from him. My puppy has had to visit the Vet because of her habit of eating paper! I'd love to have the journal. I usually keep spiral bound notebooks by my desk, so it'd be nice to have a quality one. Today's video was a much-needed distraction. And YES! It'd be so nice to learn more about Tina!! I'll think of some questions for her. Thank you, Lori.

Lady take that ring off ... I would hate for youto lose a stone digging through the treasure! At my bins a lady was wearing an authentic vintage chanel cross body. The chain broke and when she realized she did not have her purse on, someoby had already picked it up and dumped her personal effects into the bins. BUMMER!

Hi Lori - I’ve watched your channel for a long time and always love your content and your Poshmark closet! I just need to ask and I hope you don’t take offense - what has happened to your photos on Posh?! They used to be so great - but the white out method you’re using makes so many things look so odd!! You have such nice stuff I wonder why you just don’t use your old natural background? For example the Pearl Izumi pants, Moon & Madison cardigan and the AE thermal are floating in space (🤣) and look distorted . You always have quality stuff and I know it sells, but as a shopper, some of the photos make the item look misshapen or poor quality when they are probably great! Was just curious bc I know some swear by the white out method but IMO it takes away from the quality of your closet!

You'll just have to be more creative and thoughtful in your descriptions of the items when selling the "quiet" luxury look; since you won't be relying as much on the colorful bold items to do it for you...

I just found your channel and I enjoyed watching you guys shop so much it looks like you had so much fun. I just subscribed and hit the all notifications. I can’t wait to watch your videos. Also I wanted to let you know that if you like those leather pieces and they have scuffs or they stink just use a little bit of orange oil or lemon oil and it will bring the luster of the leather back and it removes the smell. Just use a lint free cloth and rub it in let it dry for a couple hours and then buff it out with another lint free cloth by just rubbing it a little bit. It will not end up oily but it will be beautiful and smell wonderful. Hope that helps.
