Hochstubai Winter(t)raum 3.173m

Approach: Leave the Stubai Glacier through climbing the Daunscharte. Ski down the Scharte and start traversing to west over Sulztal Ferner. Reach the Wütenkarsattel, turn left and descend to Wütenkarferner. Traverse over the Wütenkarferner and approach the hut from the North facing Sattel. Summits accesible from the hut Hoher Nebelkogel 3211m (approach without skis), Warenkarseitenspitze 3354m (skiable), Windacher Daunkogel 3301m (vorgipfel) 3348m. Return to Stubai either through Warenkarscharte or the same way back. Skiing down to Otztal also possible in good conditions.
