Very nice! Minor nitpick: In hexadecimal, f is 15; 10 is 16

This is why I use polybar too. It's so easy to carry on to other WMs. I use it between i3 and BSPWM every day.

Amazing. I use nitrogen for changing between wallpapers using specific keybindings, however, feh is my number one tool for choosing a random image from wallpapers folder instead of the default one provided by AwesomeWM.

you have really good videos. although because I don't know all the shortcuts yet, I kinda miss the action sometimes. Would be nice to append this videos to others where you talk about the usability in everyday use. So we learn more to appreciate all this work. Awesome content!

Great video, exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately I encountered two small issues...
    1. Although I have the default config fonts installed, I got no tray icons.
    2. Even if I set the `useless_gap` in rc.lua to 0 there's always a small gap between the windows and the polybar, I removed the padding as you did in the video but this gap bellow the polybar persisted.

Hey 1st af all, thanks for this video tutorial, it's helping me understanding quite better than the wiki itself. I can't get (still not finished watching tbh, so i don't know if you will cover it later) the point of setting font-0, font-1, font-2 (in your config as in the wiki examples). At first glance, seeing my font-0 is used, i thought of a preference order, and the fallback in case the font-0 isn't found... but, if i manually set a font of preference, it's kinda obvious it's there. Then i thought about config file portability to other systems, but... again, if it's my font of preference, i make sure it's installed on the destination pc/environment too. There should be some other use of multiple font setting. Third thought crossing my mind right when i was closing this comment, it may be just a global setup, and later in a specific module config, setting the font simply referencing font-x instead of writing font names all around the configuration files, keeping instead, all together. Any clue/info?
