Forgive m,e for being dumb, i am very new to ableton and am just now learning about max for live. I have seen a few videos now, do these max for live tools need downloading, are they free, or are they just simply already a feature in ableton on the left hand collumn where all the sounds & samples are located? Thanks in advance, great video
Also what is a side chain? How do they work and do you recommend any? I see you use the log tool instead of using the stock ableton log, what is the difference (sorry for all the questions😂)

you do not need to know max for live, just pay 100 bucks or something for each tool to help you stop creativity in your brain.
