I think the reason Ragatha took Pomni under her wing is because Ragatha saw herself in Pomni. Remember the line from Kinger where he says he remembers when Ragatha first joined the circus? Maybe Ragatha felt just like Pomni upon being spawned into the Digital Circus, and that's why Ragatha took Pomni under her wing, so she doesn't have it as hard as Ragatha did
And that's why she said she understands why Pomni abandoned her because it's normally normal that anyone would do like that for their instincts.
That's why Ragatha is my favorite. She's so friendly right away to Pomni even when Pomni left her though that is kinda understandable why.

I think the order of characters who joined was 7. pomni 6. zooble 5. gangle 4. kafmou 3. Jax 2. ragatha 1. kinger
Your theory about Ragatha and Kinger makes so much sense, as Kinger was the first one to enter the circus, and Ragatha’s the second to enter the circus. Kinger and Ragatha seem to have a very close-nit bond with each other, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re correct about that :)
The fact that Ragatha could also potentially see herself in Pomni makes more sense as well, as she’s trying to hard to help Pomni despite the error that went wrong in the Pilot. Not only that, but she’s trying so hard to enforce a friendship with Pomni, even though Pomni isn’t reciprocating her effort to be friends back.
I don’t normally watch theories, but this one is pretty engaging and includes a bunch of logical insight that I just can’t ignore. Nicely done !

I think Kingers probably been like that for everyone, just cause he’s been there the longest.
He was maybe better at this before if his mental health is slowly degrading. Maybe Ragatha started to be the one be here for everyone because Kinger wasn't able to do it anymore.

thats a good theory, but when kaufmo gets sent to the cellar you can see many more abstractions which could mean all those past people who were in the circus was stuck in there forever
It would be nice to think that they’re back to their normal life’s after abstraction

Little theory I've developed surrounding Ragatha's past in the circus, mainly because of her little monolouge in the hallway approaching Kaufmo's room:
Ragatha and one of the now abstracted members of the circus once tried to work together to find a way out. Think about it. Why else would she know pretty much the exact thought process behind that happening?
The person she was working with abstracted, and she came close to abstracting as well. But, maybe kinger, with the newly theorized sibling-like bond, was able to help her before it was too late.

Perhaps Ragatha nearly abstracted, but Caine was able to save her, which helped shape her into the motherly figure we know now. Probably also explains why she thought there could be some time to save Kaufmo after seeing what happened to him.
That's a really interesting take, I might build on this theory!
I'm glad you appreciate it! Perhaps that experience also influenced the way Caine introduced Pomni to the circus, considering that he is a learning AI.

I think that way before pomni ragatha almost abstracted and cain saved her so ragatha became kind and there is some evidence thx for reading this

I’m just saying, I feel like it could also be that the puppies just grow up and then get swapped out with younger dogs as the older ones go into their respective jobs. Like Chase would become an ACTUAL K-9 Unit for example. Just a thought.

I know ai constantly improves but i dont think caine would because from what we see its an abandoned game-ish thing and ai would need updates so i think caine would have very subtle charecter development
You no I actually have a theory that in epsodes 3 something will happen and most of the cirus members will start to hate her and then she will start loose it even more
