Fun Fact: the Mascot Costume Audio is most likely a reference to Dayshift At Freddy’s, with ‘Old Sport’ being a nickname for the player character, and Vegas being a location they end up in at an ending
And possibly the name "Jackson" being a reference to DSAF's protagonist, Jack, especially because it's the name of the person the other guy calls "Old Sport".
What's interesting is there's cutout of Salem where the train glitched. Rambley himself glitched before he can introduce Salem, he never gets to introduce Salem. Just skips them.
Seems like the game wants to keep some crucial points secret. Could be that the Salem the Skunk character was the original glitched animatronic causing the trouble. Their personality is the only one we met that is actually meant to be evil and it's capable of brainwashing and controlling others as seen in the arcade game.
my attention was on that totally not a bloodstain in the middle of the floor in Salems area. the earliest hint that he is very likely to be an intentional threat before we get to the arcade cabinet.
Hey, after taking a closer look at the tuff of hair when rambley glitches, it’s actually his conducter hat and handkerchief, from the train ride which turned yellow, meaning all his glitches are his expressive emotions animations.
Going on the theory that the mascots seem like they where abused, Lloyd's behavior when he first sees you lines up with this idea. The way he instantly runs away when he sees the protag, his body language is eerille simmilar to how i have seen animals who have been mistreated by humans react.
Ah but isnt his first reaction both times hes on screen to run towards the player? He only runs away bc of the high pitched frequency from the wristband. Not saying the abuse theory is wrong since some of the stuff molly says is a bit ehhh…
maybe its like a chihuahua, agressive alot of bark, until you show signs of biting back then they bounce. only difference is that big ass kitty can maul you into a Cannibal's sashimi that or its being a wild animal and stalking it's prey like big cats do
@@4wingedowl yeah that is true, in my mind i thought of that as more him not being able to reach you and running off to try and get to you. But yeah it can also read as running away in fear, i do think he is abused thinking about the workers talk about the mascot and mollys voicelines tho
Quick note: During a recent livestream, uniquegeese stated that the animatronic Molly didnt actually say "he hurt lloyd" its actually random gibberish. Also when she's chasing you and she says "I've known you for 100 years" she's mimicking the interaction between Rambley and Finley from the train ride section.
That would make more sense to me. When playing through I noted that rambley has multiple opportunities to get you killed or captured, yet never takes them. Also, Mollie was watching you since at least the train ride, actually popping in during Lloyd’s portion.
I think Mollie's line about "You've known me for 100 years" could just be in reference to something she heard Finley say during the Rambley's Railroad ride
You can actually find her stalking you on the cameras when you get off the railroad at the end, showing her following you on the tracks in one of the pictures taken on the ride
A line that she says, and I just figured it out, was "It barely hurts at all!" This is something that she heard because she was in the room during the train ride
Since it wasn't mentioned, you can see a picture of Lloyd and Rambley happy and shaking hands with Lloyd holding a piece of paper in his other hand at the start of the train ride, just look behind you when you first start the ride and reach the area with the dancing cactuses. Makes you wonder what the paper is, like it could be the reason why Lloyd became so popular and why Rambley hated him.
It's actually a Disney reference! A Winnie the Pooh ride used to be a different one before hand, so they had a picture hung above it of the previous Mascot (Toad) handing the deed over to Owl from Winnie The Pooh. There's a LOT of Disney references in the video game. Even the train ride is one big reference, alluding to a Disney train ride that breaks down all the time LOL
@@kallen7457 i also noticed that the indigo park logo in the opening tape 0:58 looked very similar to the retro disneyland park entrance sign in 1955 which i thought was cool
The main protagonist is comfirmed to be male. His name is Ed for now and he used to go to the Indigo park when he was a child. Now as a young adult, probably in his twenties or thirties, he discover that the park is closed for unknown reason. Curious but possibly worried and concern, he chose to go and investigate the park and tried to find answers until he met a dark, disturbing, and sinister revealed that there are living and dangerous mascots of the characters who want to hunt and kill anyone they see as prey. Now it is up to him and possibly AI Rambley to work together to stop the madness and horror of the living mascots and dispose who is behind it and behind the park closing.
@@HeWillBeComingThere's not much to go on about why, but it's a fair assumption that Rambly and Lloyd have a strained relationship. But perhaps with the next or later chapters, we can learn why.
@@HeWillBeComingLloyd seems to be favored among the mascots (given that he is the only mascot to have Limited Edition plush), that Rambly doesn’t find fair to those who dont have when they’re all mascots of the park. Giving this kind of treatment to children (favoritism is quite common as I have experienced such with my siblings and peers) obviously makes them upset. Please, don’t mind my english. It is my third language.
One thing that I find notable is how Rambly phrases things during the dialog where he asks the protagonist to restore the park. He mentions having access to the repair documentation and specifically says: "I can't execute most tasks without authorization of a human user." He didn't say that he couldn't do them, just that he can't do them without authorization. For the duration of the game until now, we only see Rambly as an AI character on a screen. It implies that there definitely is more to him and him having the capability to physically repair the park but not the authorization. (However much that requires)
During the train section the player actually learns that there are 5 mascots at the theme park Rambly, Molly, Finley, Lloyd and Salem. The destroyed part of the ride where the train breaks down is Salem's introduction.
8:37 I think the critter cuff has those soundwaves to scare away the mascots instead of having brain wave powers, kinda like a dog whistle. That might explain why Lloyd covered his ears and ran away. Maybe Lloyd had an issue of getting too close to people while the park was opened so the park probably put the sound frequency to help him keep his distance. Since it seems that feature only worked for Lloyd
I think when Mollie was talking about how Rambley hurts Lloyd, she was referring to that whistle noise that came from the band, not that he was physically aggressive towards him.
8:36 I think the whistle was ment to be a safety measure to control the mascots incase they went rouge, but workers where using it as a way to torture them
But didn’t she say “not Rambley”? It either sound like she’s defending Rambley and doesn’t believe what he did or she was talking someone else than Rambley because- yes this haven’t been confirm yet but remember, park have mascot costume and animatronic so they might mistake one of the animatronic or worker in mascot costume as Rambley
I love little Rambley. I love his little quirks and the glitches. He so cute with the tail swishes and how animated he is with his eyes, and how dead and angry he is with Lloyd
Rambly is being hacked. When he says let’s get this place back in business his eyes go green for a split second which is strange because I don’t think we ever see him with green eyes
he gets green eyes whenever he is processing something. does it for how many days since last visitor. does it while playing the audio file attached to the maske as well. its a loading circle near as i can tell.
This is so well made! People have said 'mascot horror is dying' but I think it's just that mascot horror isn't at the kind of fever pitch where people will take any old crap thrown at them. Mascot horror is as good as it's always been, people just want it to be well made.
I think this is a smart take, just because there’s less shovelware crap coming out doesn’t mean the genre is dead. This, the new poppy stuff, and some of the new projects look they’re headed in a good direction.
I can see this game is made with passion and hardwork hence why it looks so good. Unlike Banban which the design look lazy and cheap, and they are too rushed to release next chapters in the next few months. Yeah, FNAF used to be like that when they released 3 games in a year but Scott probably has planted it and it all still holds up till these days. Also, Banban turn to be a comedy instead of horror anymore and the monsters ain't too scary.
I just realized that there’s most likely a monster mascot of Rambley roaming around the park somewhere. Maybe several…..if the park had multiple meet and greet areas. 😳
You know what I noticed during the opening cutscene. Behind the owner giving his speech, was the main gate and on his right was a picture of Loyd Lion but in later pictures that panel has a picture of Rambly Raccon. We can guess that the speech was being done during the Grand Openning of the park. So, maybe Loyd was the original star of the park and Rambly was a sidekick or friend. It could be the reason Loyd had a retro plush made and the others didn't, because he was the original mascot. Maybe, Rambly started to get more popular then Loyd and they naturally changed it to Rambly being the main star and the new characters like Molly and Finley were created to be friends of Rambly. The resentment could be from when Loyd was the main attraction and Rambly was his understudy.
u got that reversed, rambly was the origional and he had his 2 freinds as side characters on his adventures, but then they made lloyd and he got alot more popular then rambly and became the main attraction (which is why he has an entire area, and ramby has only a ride), rambly has a grudge cus he was pushed out of the spotlight, he was given a yellow pained version of his plush and lloyd got an entirely new one, this shows that rambly is less popular then lloyd, meaning lloyd must have took his spotlight at some point. we see that rambly and lloyd were freinds in a picture during lloyds part of the ride, but most likely lloyd became more popular and changed his personality to stay in the public eye, and rambly got annoyed and angry at him changing personality just to be the star longer.
@@Bingoidd I don't think I have it reversed. As I said before, in what we can only assume is the grand opening speech, we can see a picture of Lloyd but in later pictures we see Rambly. Lloyd's picture is now off to the side. Also, Rambly is all over the park as he is the A.I. guide that helps everyone around the park. So, while Lloyd has an area, Rambly has the entire park.
@@travisb.honest2438 counterpoint: rambly has 1 ride, and that 1 ride focuses on litterally everyone else. where as lloyd has an entire area with a giant theater. so what i think is lloyd became more popular then rambly, so much so that they decided to take down ramblys area and give it to lloyd and just have rambly as an AI that guides people around rather then an actual mascot that can talk and interact with the people around the place.
@@Bingoidd The ride is to introduce his friends and Lloyd. The part were it breaks down was the part were Rambly introduced himself. Heck the rest of the park seems to revolve around him. From drink cups, to arcade games, even the Mickey/Walt style statue at the start of the park. And being the default A.I companion means he is the main attraction at the park. Is Disney introduced an A.I. companion to the park, chances would be high that the default character would be Mickey.
The "You have known me for 100 years" line from Mollie is taken directly from Finley's section of the Rambley Railroad ride, where you can spot her stalking you throughout
@@RealWorldGaming Mollie stalks you from the second you enter the queue for Rambley’s Railroad, and if you’re sharp, you can spot her. She’s just around the corner ahead in the queue (but it’s easy to miss her cuz of Rambley on the tv screams), she’s hiding just inside a maintenance door in her section (keep looking by Rambley and you’ll eventually find her), you can hear her parroting (no pun intended) Rambley’s announcement that “Oceanic Odyssey is closed for repairs”, and she is RIGHT BEHIND YOU in Lloyd’s section. I think the only reason she doesn’t murk Ed right then and there is cuz Rambley cut it short, cuz she is REEEAAALLY CLOSE.
Well, there was that Rambley the Racoon head that you can get as a collectible. Maybe that was for a former Rambley mascot? Maybe Molly was referring to Rambley the former mascot and not Rambley the AI companion?
If the Rambley mask was part of a costume and not a skin for a living park character, then it may have been a human mascot that took on the role of Rambley in a physical appearance. If there is a real life Rambley in the park, then he may be some twisted version that was mistreated like the other mascots and took his animosity out on them out of spite.
My current theory is that our AI Rambley is a clean back up with no knowledge of what closed the park, since he seem as surprised as us when seeing how bad the state of the park is. (he also mentioned he was stuck only able to monitor the entrance since the closure). The animatronic living version is probably still roaming around and might have gone nuts with the jealousy for LLoyd we see with the screen version. Juging by the macaw both are totally different creatures, one digital, one organic so AI Rambley might stay on our side and not pull the played out "I was evil all along" bit.
I have a theory. During the railroad section we come across a destroyed tattered section where we need to fix it, that section was for Salem the skunk and it's the only section that's been torn to shreds. if that and the arcade game are to go off of, Salem might be behind everything and used the Rambly mascot to enact their evil plan
If I may add to this- I'm kind of hoping/thinking that all the other mascots may have AI counterparts too. Rambley was confined to the entrance- if there's other AI for each of the cast, they might be confined to other parts of the park that we may go to later.
I think the Rambly we have been hanging out with and the mascot that’s gone nuts in the park are two separate entities. The one we met is most likely an AI programmed with Rambly’s original personality and designed to guide the guests and help the employees work to the best of their abilities in a friendly way. The actual mascot probably got so upset because of the little fella on the screen became more popular than him. As for Lloyd, I’m pretty sure the two’s sour relationship is something that predates the mascots due to how they interact in the train ride. It is also worth noting that WHERE the train broke down might be important, after all the ride neglected to mention one character that showed up in the game: Salem Skunk. I think the area the train stopped in used to be the exhibit for Salem and any ride he might have had. If it was brighter than maybe we could’ve found some more evidence but for now it’s just a theory!
just a note Molly is actually stalking you earlier in Rambely railroad during the molly part she slightly opens the door and closes it and she is the one stalking you in the one hallway the animatronic is at and partially in lloyd's theater. Also the one destroyed section when looking at it seems to actually be Salem's not Rambley's Also quick edit, Finely does appear near the end if you look at the window Finely is popping out from the end.
No clue if anyone mentioned this yet but before you go to the back of the theatre, Rambley says this : "Hey buddy, i got eyes all over the park, but i cant see anything behind the stage. If you're going back there be careful. your critter cuff is not yet able to rescuscitate you!" Im thinking thag maybe Rambley knows more about what is going on than he lets on, seeing as he basically foreshadowing Lloyd attacking us lol Edit: i looked up what he said line for line. He actually was hinting at it being dangerous there and possibly even fatal, not sure why he'd say that last part if he didn't know about the murderous intentions these animals have
Plus, after the Mollie chase sequence, Rambley trails off about the mascots, another reason why Rambley knows more than what he lets on. I do hope he is a good guy though and just isn’t telling us, mainly because other games have done “cute friendly helper does plot twist and becomes evil”.
I think he mentioned ever since the Mascots went crazy things were never the same So while he may not know the full damage of it, he is at least aware enough to know something is wrong with the Mascots since he was trapped at the front when the whole mess went down. So all he could hear was what others were saying
Rn I'm thinking he definitely knows a little, but a good portion has him in the dark about what truly is going on; just like he states in the end credit song. I assume he knows what happened to get the park shut down, but the behind the scenes bit and the darker stuff he may be finding out at the same time as us. Actually, now that I think about it, does he even realize the park was shut down?
I like how rambley isn’t the main character who’s a literal psychopath but actually welcoming and acts like a kid at some point instead of trying to both literally and mentally backstab the player or coming up with some kind of evil whatever plan
The fact that this game has a reference to Dayshift At Freddy’s might seem a bit random until you realise that UniqueGeese the creator of this game played DSAF for the first time last year and absolutely loved it so realistic it’s a reference that makes complete sense 😁
2920 days is important. Divide it by 365, and you get 8 exactly. That means the the two were most likely planning to investigate on the 8 year anniversary, since this is in October, so it's two days before the anniversary of the close down.
@@amirhaikal6672Counterpoint, the video intro when you start the game is in black and white. Meaning the park has to at least be open for uh...70ish years no? Unless Im misinterpreting what you're saying...which I'm pretty sure I didn't?
@@Ly_7838No, you seem to be on the right track. Someone pointed out how the park logo was eerily similar to the 1950s Disneyland logo, which would imply something slightly below 70 years, especially if Indigo Park was closed for eight years. The announcement on the registration computer monitor reveals a date of Saturday, October 7th 20XX (? Six or seven), and that that leaves us three possible years. 2001, 2006, and 2023. Since there was no way the park was closed in 2023, it was either closed in 2001 or 2006. So more like 50ish years, but still, definitely not the 2 years the original poster suggested
8:32 another theory is that he was just scared off by the ringing noise the bracelet did as Loyd is a lion, which is a big cat and cats are known for their sensitive hearing. Especially since it did shit to molly. Honestly would be cool tho if we could control them. 12:39 IS THAT A DAYSHIFT AT FREDDYS REFRENCE?? XD
@.ZigsAnimations._ I don't think it just scared Lloyd off. What did he do when he first heard it? He practically shut down, curling up into a ball and held his paws over his ears, before fially running away. It seems like the sound actually hurt him.
4:35 Aw Schisse... Mollie was already following the Player over here! 6:40 May need to also mention the fact that Rambly's feud with Lloyd(ford) seems to stem as well as how his popularity overshadowed not _just_ Rambly, but also Mollie and Finley... ...Still, the fact that the Animatronic Mollie was concerned for Lloyd, does it imply she was in a relationship with Lloyd? If that is the case, it may give deeper implications as to why Rambley hated him... He didn't want to lose Mollie.
@@mayraalejandragonzalezeraz5886 Hoo boy... And The Player implies that the reason for disliking Finley was because Finley was absolutely massive... ...I get the feeling there will be a lot of flashbacks to Subnautica for those who played it.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind a supernatural experiment on regular animals. If you think about it after Molly's defeat, it's blood coming out of the mascot. Not to mention one of Molly's lines when we die, she says, 'Come here, you freak.' Plus, the skunk mascot is named Salem, which could mean that witchcraft was involved. The next chapter of Indigo Park will face Finley, which may have snake and shark qualities. I think it would have a deadly effect on the player for the next chapter.
I can definitely see how Unique Geese used areas of Reincarnated in Indigo Park, such as Mollie Macaw being similar to Reincarnated Opela and it definitely has a similar (but obviously improved) style. It also is similar to the way we play Poppy Chapter 3 where we go to different area of a hub and complete tasks. I'm excited for the rest of the chapters of this game 💚
its funny how a guy went from no experience as a developer to making this entire game in a year while ban ban games take about half a year to give you dog shit
12:40 THEY REALLY PUT A DSAF REFERENCE IN THERE. NICE. I MEAN IT'S TWO GUYS WHO ARE MASCOTS, ONE SPEAKS ALMOST LIKE HE'S TEXT-TO-SPEECH AND CALLS THE OTHER OLD SPORT. THE OTHER IS NAMED JACKSON. AND THEY MENTION VEGAS.
If anyone is curious when Rambley says how long it’s been since Indigo Park 2920 days is exactly 8 years so the protag (Ed is apparently his name) was roughly a teen (or a older teen/young adult) when it closed.
I love how the first chapter doesn't show all it's cards right away. We still don't know Rambley's intentions, what his beef with Lloyd is, what the mascots are or where they came from, or what happened to the park. It leaves it's mysteries to be mysteries.
(Just realized that I left out a few words. Sorry for the confusion.) Until near the end of game, I had always wondered if Rambley ever had an advance AI sentience, or just simply have a very expansive dialogue database. Consider also the fact he seems to turns himself on (with what power before the player fixed the generator) after being inactive for roughly 8 years, and his "voice actor" drops the cartoonish voice in some dialogues (especially after the chase sequence).
I mean, the "Hey- this door is staff only-! [HORROR SCREECH] !!! COME ON IN NEW STAFF!!!" seems pretty sentient to me!! Very excited to see where they take this :>
I highly doubt he’s actually AI, since he’s seen visibly making a few mistakes here and there. For example, in the beginning of the game, he nearly points in the wrong direction towards the registration counter. Another thing is he disregarded the rule to keep us safe when he let us in a staff only area to keep us away from Molly. He breaks the like “script” a few times too. He interupts himself when introducing the park to realise that were the first visitor in 8 years, and other stuff
Bendy: my old boss wants to show me something Poppy: i need to find my coworkers BanBan: i need to find my kid Indigo Park: youtuber wants a good video
Finley reminds me so much of eeyore 🥺 I have a theory and its a bit crazy but I think Rambly the raccoon is the the main baddie (or one of them) and may have been super controlling of the other critters and Salem the skunk was actually trying to save them but failed or maybe she succeeded and the critters fought back leading to the park closing and when Rambly says he needs to players help to restore the park maybe he needs help taking back control of the park and the critters. The reasons why I think this are because : Lloyd was scared of the critter cuff and it was Rambly that gave the cuff to the player and it’s hinted that Rambly hurt him out of jealousy. In the pixel game when Salem ‘turns Mollie evil’ she says something like “let’s see what she REALLY thinks of you” which could be a massive hint towards Rambly controlling the critters and she was helping Mollie break free but obviously it looks evil to the player who’s on Ramblys side at the moment AND at the end of the mini game we don’t actually see Rambly save Molly as it’s glitches so maybe that’s also a hint that he punished her brutally for ‘betraying him’ I’ve absolutely love this game, it’s so different from the other mascot horror games that have come out since Poppy Playtime and I can’t wait for the other chapters!
6:57 blink and you'll miss it but the cardboard cut out on the floor is the skunk from the videogame. There's also blood on the floor in that room... That means they probably have an attraction too right?
@@Omega_speedthere’s no official merch for the time being, there is however a bootleg plush on some sites, however buying the plush does not support the game or creators as it’s unofficial
Just watched yer playthrough of this, then this. XD My favorite is still "This area is for STAFF ONLY!" *Molly screeches and chases the player* "!!! COME ON IN, NEW STAFF!!!" I do also adore his like "I like trains. :)" as well. I'm very interested to see how this story develops! Although, we won't be saving Molly. RIP, Bird of Prey. :|
5:55 Or maybe someone that dislikes Lloyd, which I think someone once worked in the park is pretending that’s Rambley I’m not 100% sure but let’s hope it’s true that Rampley is a friend.
So, Molly's parroted line "You've known me for 100 years?" What does Finley tell Rambley after the "why the long face and body" joke? *"You've known me for 100 years, Rambley."* It wasn't something someone said to her, it was something she heard when she was stalking the player.
After watching a few playthroughs--I can't help but feel like Lloyd seems less of a threat than Molly was. Lloyd first RUNS AWAY from the player, and when he makes his first lunge, he's easily hurt/exhausted by the boxes, almost like he has no real strength left. If his theatre was sealed up this whole time, then he may have been starving, and is lashing out like any neglected zoo animal would (trying eat, or escape). The wrist band sounded like it emitted some sort of high-pitched frequency, which is used to deter some animals like rodents. It's also a warning signal for some electric collars when they approach off-limits areas. Lloyed reacts like he has been neglected and abused for some time, and is more scared and desperate than anything else. Molly also seems like she was abused if her voice lines are what we think they are, but she's much more aggressive (and curious) towards the player. Her area still has food laying around, so maybe she wasn't as starved, which could be why she has more energy when attacking the player. What I don't get about either of them, is that Rambley has control of the doors to some extent, and could have let them out, if they were trapped and starving. I'm not sure if I believe that he's really only hung around the entrance for all those years without checking in on those inside. I'd like more info about him and the evil skunk Salem in the next chapter, because I think that'll have more clues as to what happened.
heres the thing, if i remember correct he said he was trapped in the entrace. most likely most of the park was cut off to him, and the generator we activated at the start gave him enough reach to get to the rest of the park
@@RealWorldGaming it doesnt, but it would provide power to the stuff near the entrance, giving rambly enough distance to reach the other areas that already have power

Fun fact: when Rambl says we’re the first person to enter the park in 2920 days 4 hours 23 minutes and 38 seconds, that equals to almost 8 years since the theme park has been abandoned
Here a theory, Salem so far had not been mentioned anywhere in the park or any merchandise for her, so she most has been recently add and maybe someone mess with her program that actually caused everyone else to lost control.
Although her name was not revealed until much later in the game, she was actually shown early in the torn down section of the train ride. A piece of her cardboard cutout is seen on the floor as the player makes his way to repair the train ride. It's kinda an easy miss.
I wonder if she has her own real-life mascot, or if she's just digital, like Rambley is so far. If she's cast as the bad guy, she may have taken her role seriously.
@@redblade8658 Guess we'll wait until the next chapter comes up, unless its one those "behind the scenes" stories that could only be obtain from exploring around. Just like the "E Notes" from Dark Deception (if anyone remembers that game).
11:56 i think this is from the rambley's railroad ride (specifically when we meet Finley) and because we see her multiple times in that ride stalking us
Rambly is such an adorable little fuzz ball. I like the idea of having a character who helps us be a cartoon that travels through screens instead of a 3D model.
11:56 Mollie says that someone knows her for a hundred years, the same phase Finley said during his section in the train ride, and there’s the retro plush of Lloyd when Rambly asks where where the retro plushies of him and his friends. I thought that was interesting.
Theory time! I think Lloyd is the oldest amounts the cast. Given the fact that he has a retro plush and the other characters don't. Sort of like how Pete is to Disney. Speaking of Disney, since Rambly is a parallel of Mickey, I think that's enough to pain the origins of Indigo Park. Issac Indigo started with a passion for animation, but quickly move on to theme parks. Maybe he was disillusion by the medium, maybe now, but he did make a breakout character in Lloyd the Lion. A showman to his core Lloyd captivated the audiences with his boisterous personality. This popularity carried the studio all throughout the black and white era before moving to color. As Rambly said there wasn't a retro plush of him, Molly, or Finley. They don't have a retro plush because they came AFTER the black and white era, there was no nostalgia to cash in on with them. At this point it's hard to tell who came next. My guess is that Rambly came next, then Molly based off of her dialoged, and then Finley. With the introduction of Rambly, Lloyd finally had someone who can match him in popularity. However, unlike Pete, Lloyd was never a villain. Even in his early days Pete served the roll of the antagonist well and when Mickey was introduced, it made sense to pair the two together. It wouldn't make sense to pair Lloyd their previous star against Rambly their newest star. It's like putting a square peg into a round hole, it just wouldn't work in the long run. So, with this in mind, Lloyd and Rambly always competed against each other as they were the studio's most popular stars. However, Lloyd was always the most popular of the two. Rambly to me seems to be taking ques from Daffy Duck. A star in their own right, but always playing second fiddle to the true star of the show. Rambly is clearly jealous of Lloyd's popularity and maybe that influenced the writers to depict Rambly as. Sort of like what Chuck Jones did with Daffy. After Issac started to focus on theme parks, he set up meet and greets with the various characters. These were just people in costumes for a long time, until they were replayed with the "mascots". I'll be honest, I have no idea what these things are. They are clearing living creatures as showed when Molly got her head chopped off, but why are there real-life versions of cartoon characters running around and why would anyone think this is a good idea? No clue, but it reminds me of the Bigger Bodies initiative from Poppy Playtime. We'll have to wait and see if chapter 2 comes out. To help guide guest around the theme park, Indigo created an A.I. based on their second most popular character Rambly. Basing the A.I.'s programing on the jealous depiction of the character that grew in popularity and what eventually became the normal depiction of that character. This was a treat to guests, but the thing about A.I. is that if you put something bad in it, you'll get something bad out. Jealousy can drive a man to ruin and those around him. My guess of what happen and what made the park had to evacuate, was that during one of Lloyd's shows, A.I. Rambly sent a high pitch frequency through everyone's Critter Cuff to ruin Lloyd's performance. If one cuff can ward him off, then dozens of them would probably make him go mad and start attacking everyone causing staff to evacuate and maybe this had an effect on the other mascots too. And that's everything I have to say, any more than this and it's just pure speculation. I will say that this game has TONS of potential, and I can't wait to see where it goes. Which is pretty funny, considering that all of this started when someone thought they could make a better version of Garten of BanBan in a week.
If Finley came last (or at least second-to-last), that could explain why all of his dialogue sounds so sad: he was likely the least popular of the animatronics. I'm guessing that this is because of two reasons: 1. His attraction is the most science/edutainment-adjacent; it's about the wonders of the sea, while Mollie's is building and flying airplanes, Lloyd puts on live shows, and Rambley can directly talk to people, so the vast majority of young kids would have likely found him the most boring (maybe he was an attraction intended for older kids?) 2. From the little glimpse we see of him at the very end of Chapter 1, he's the largest of all the mascots, so he would have likely been at least a little off-putting to many people. Our player character even says that he was always a bit scared of him because of his size. 3. He's described as naturally shy, and it's possible that he was always the most melancholic of all the mascots. In his introduction on the train ride, he sounds like he's reading off of a script, not genuinely welcoming the guests. Young kids wouldn't have liked such a "boring" character, which would have likely hurt his/his actors' self-esteem, which would have made him more depressed, which would have driven away more kids... basically, a self-perpetuating cycle.
*There's even more evidence for this!* If you look at the old film footage in the intro sequence, you can see that the park's walls next to the entrance have cartoon drawings of Lloyd. But when you actually go to the park yourself, those images have been replaced with Rambley. This means Lloyd was the original main mascot before Rambley, with the change likely being due to Rambley's indigo color fitting better with the park's name.
You missed the first time we saw Salem the Skunk. Where the train breaks down you literally walk over a cutout of Salem on the Floor. That must of been Salems stopping point before it was all ripped down. This is such a great game. I played it in VR and it was amazing. You feel like your right there in the park. Great video on explaining everything that i didn't notice while running from lions and giant birds lol
Mollie’s audio, some of it is her mimicking the audio of other characters, and if you know where to look, you can see her stalking the player since the train ride. The “100 years” audio is her mimicking the conversation between Rambley and Finley. I assume the time is a reference to 2024 being 100 years of Disney. The harsher audio clips like the one about the cage may be from former employees.
Not even a day later and this man had already created a story explained for this chapter of a new indie horror game. Anyway amazing Job Super Horror Bro cannot wait for chapter 2. I know the game has already came out and saying chapter 2 already is crazy but it has been released that if it's fund of chapter 2 reaches 50,000 money we'll get a chapter 2 or etc.
so got this game after watching your playthrough and in the train section if you turn around in Mollys' section and face the entrance from where you come from, I believe it's her section, you can see a photo with Lyod handing Ramble a piece of paper and they both look happy about it
Mollie's "You have known me for 100 years" statement is lifted verbatim from Finley's segment of the Rambley Railroad trip, when she can be seen following you around the entire time.
In the area where you find the animatronic mollie and Finley, there is a broken cut out of Salem the skunk lying on the floor before you enter the room to get the power fixed implying the stage we stop to fix rambley's train was originally Salem's meaning he was part of the cast...
One detail missed is that the ride breaks down in the character section for Salem Skunk, given her character cut out is on the floor. Given it's her section the train breaks down in, which is followed by a busted Molly animatronic saying Rambly hurts Lloyd, I wonder if Salem made that up to plant seeds of doubt against Rambly. And given what we learn of Salem in the arcade game, it seems she was the antagonist of the character group, turning the animals of the forest against Rambly, including Molly. Theory: Hmmm what if the Molly animatronic line has more than one meaning? The first clear line we hear is "Not Rambly." This can be taken as "Rambly is not my friend," given the corrupted dialog before that. Or it's more simple: the raccoon we're talking to is NOT Rambly. It might be Salem instead since, other than the arcade game, Rambly doesn't mention Salem at all, not even in his little rant about the retro-style Llyod plushie. And, the ride breaks down in Salem's character introduction.
When Rambley comes clean, in the part where he glitches; "Scared" like it turns into "Scary" to me for that split second. and, obviously, makes it sound like he's saying "You're scary". and during that glitch, he looks timid, or terrified before immediately going back into what he was saying before. thought i'd point that out. it also raises some questions if he _is_ saying "You're scary". may be wrong, though.
1:10 Our Protagonist has a name; His name is Ed...If you stop and read the chat messages in the beginning (which you can only do if you're watching it on TH-cam); You'll find out that hes planning a search of the park with a friend, which she declines because she thinks it might be too dangerous and be swarming with cops (and the last search they did together sucked); She says if he actually manages to get inside then she might record with him next week to see what they actually find in one of their searches...
theory: Salem Skunk is the villain. the part of the railroad where rambley glitches is Salems area. it all broken, but we can find a cutout of her. and the arcade must be hinting at the lore that she controls the mascots
I'll put my theory here since I haven't seen someone say this yet. I believe that Lloyd was the main mascot for Indigo Park before Rambley came along. The note about the mask you find after the Molly chase hints that the mask was the newest, meaning that Rambley was the newest mascot suit to be made aka the newest of the bunch. It would also make sense why they made a retro Lloyd plush instead of anyone else, because Lloyd was the mascot back in the day. Considering this all, Lloyd would be the oldest which could be why the watches hurt him. The tech wouldn't have been around back then, but when they introduced Rambley and the critter cuffs, it could've affected him. It could be that Rambley didn't know Lloyd was the mascot before, so Rambley sees him as egotistical and self-centered, especially since Lloyd could be trying to out-do Rambley. Edit; As someone else pointed out, at the beginning scene with Isaac Indigo, you see a cut-out of Lloyd, not Rambley, just further proving this theory.
Also, here's my interpretation of what happened with the information we currently have: The mascots were probably people with certain talents put into wearable animatronic suits to make the characters more life like. However, one of them didn't turn out the way the company expected: The Rambley Rush game introduced us to Salem the skunk, who we currently don't know the gender of. That part was pretty unclear. Mike did just say that the game probably represents someone taking over the mascots, but I think this is how Salem was always meant to be. I think they were made as the main antagonist for Rambley and his friends. The first Molley Macaw line was obviously a reference to a different scene from earlier in the chapter. I don't remember the name of the serpent, but that's who I'm talking about. The other lines, though, are probably meant to be the way Salem was when they imprisoned the mascots, and the people who were stuck inside them, inside their own minds. Salem seems to be the Indigo Park version of Glitchtrap, as they were just playing the role of the villain, but took it too far. The Rambley mascot was probably the only one strong enough to fight against their control and was forced to harm his friends. Although, I think he just really wanted to get back at Lloyd, as he always had issues with him. I wouldn't be surprised if Salem is somewhere in the park trying to escape and continue their villainous role on the rest of the world. Rambley is now stuck inside the computers, so he needs the help of a guest to stop them. Ed was right to come back, as he is now the only one who can help Rambley stop Salem and save the world from what they're trying to do. This is my best interpretation of what will happen with the little information we've been given, but I think it makes sense so far. What do you guys think?
Becoming the mask, Salem is. Reminds me of how Shuten Dōji came to be. According to Japanese folklore, he was once an unruly young man known for his bad behaviors. They're so bad that the monastery that he grew up in had to exile him because of them. One night during the festival, he decided to pull a prank on everyone by scaring them. It was fine at first. Thanks to his makeshift demon mask, he managed to do just that. But once he's bored, he decides to just call it a day...only to find out, to his horror, that he couldn't take his mask off. Apparently, by wearing that mask, he unleashed his inner dark side that he had kept inside him. With the inhibition off, he became the very mask he wore in the first place. He tried to get anyone to get it off of him, but he only met laughter and ridicule in his way. Heck, some even considered this as a divine punishment for his misdemeanors. Angered by these, he ran himself all the way to the mountain. Years had passed, and the world eventually trembled, for the boy, once human, grew up to be the powerful oni known as Shuten Dōji and together with those sharing his malice, he terrorized all of Japan till finally, a legendary samurai slayed him, at last
So, if I'm understanding this correctly, you think the story of Indigo Park is based on this Japanese legend, with Rambley being the mischievous one, Salem being the oni, and the player character Ed being the samurai.
Mollie's 100 years comment... Finley also mentions having known Rambley for 100 years. Is it possible Mollie heard that from either Finley or Rambley? Also, I really, genuinely hope Rambley does have our best interests at heart and that he won't end up being some killer mascot later. Imagine if at the very end of the story we learn he *does* have a living mascot body, but it's non-functional, and we somehow transfer his AI into it so that he can "live" and leave the park together with Ed, and they go on to be best friends. A sweet and sappy end for a horror game, but honestly I could see it here.
I don't think that the wristband has the ability to control the mascots. When Lloyd attacks, you can hear a high-pitched noise. He seems to recoil in pain and cover his ears. It's more likely that the wristband is like a dog deterrent, using a high-pitched noise to keep Lloyd away. The reason why it doesn't work on Mollie is because she's a bird. I also think that the one whose hurting Lloyd isn't Rambley the AI, but rather a mascot Rambley. More than likely there are also going to be more mascots involved. A large theme park is going to have the same mascot in various locations to cater to guests, so this'll probably not be the last time we see Mollie or Lloyd. There might be a segment that involves Ed, the protagonist, being tricked by Mollie as she mimics Rambley's voice.
when i heard mollie when i played when she said her lines the way her voice sounded to me sounded a bit like rambly so it makes me more suspicious of him but also as we know rambly can shut doors and he had enough time to shut the door on molly macaw he had a good few seconds and the fact that he seemed to wait till the last second makes me think he purposefully killed her [also when it comes to the room where he says this room is only for something rank ranglers he said maybe one day you'll be big enough to go in but right now don't and the way he said dont is like he knows theres something back there like a threat or maybe incriminating stuff] just my own thoughts and theorys
there is something wholesome and pleasant about Rambley. it's hard not to like him. but I also like that awful Salem the Skunk. looking forward to more of both.
Fun Fact: the Mascot Costume Audio is most likely a reference to Dayshift At Freddy’s, with ‘Old Sport’ being a nickname for the player character, and Vegas being a location they end up in at an ending
Not to mention the almost text to speech sounding voice
YESS!! it's so funny lmao, i love how the va tried to sound like dave
I was hoping someone would say something about the old sport dialogue lol I lost it
Dave is possibly the best character in fnaf fan game history
I noticed that too! I wonder what happened!
my attention was on that totally not a bloodstain in the middle of the floor in Salems area. the earliest hint that he is very likely to be an intentional threat before we get to the arcade cabinet.
@@vulpinevandal2465I really hope they circumvent the trope of “le cute helper is actually le evil”

Also take note of the death screen for Molly it mentions that she can only mimic what she heard and can't speak or something to that effect
@@TaqruinniusWhat some birds do
That would make more sense to me.

That factual as Mollie can literally be found stalking the player throughout the ride.
@@26th_Primarch, you're right!! Mollie can he seen hiding in her section in RAMBLEY railroad
That’s misable! I thought she started stalking you at Lloyd’s stage. I didn’t realize she stalked Ed at the railroad introduction!
I thought that paper was like Lloyd's contract to joining the park.

@@kallen7457 Yes! I knew I had seen that somewhere! And now it makes sense with the graffiti behind the railroad that says Lloyds Limos

There is just a major question I have right now about this… Is there only one mascot for each character or do they have back ups?
That’s so intresting
Rambley haven't seen anyone for 8 years
"Give this mistake to a child and they will cry " WHAT! Rambley is so savage.
What does it mean
@@HeWillBeComingThere's not much to go on about why, but it's a fair assumption that Rambly and Lloyd have a strained relationship. But perhaps with the next or later chapters, we can learn why.
@@HeWillBeComing he was talking about the loyd plush and he called it a mistake
@@HeWillBeComingLloyd seems to be favored among the mascots (given that he is the only mascot to have Limited Edition plush), that Rambly doesn’t find fair to those who dont have when they’re all mascots of the park.
Giving this kind of treatment to children (favoritism is quite common as I have experienced such with my siblings and peers) obviously makes them upset.
Please, don’t mind my english. It is my third language.
One thing that I find notable is how Rambly phrases things during the dialog where he asks the protagonist to restore the park.
He mentions having access to the repair documentation and specifically says: "I can't execute most tasks without authorization of a human user."
He didn't say that he couldn't do them, just that he can't do them without authorization.
I doubt the Skunk is the main villain of the overall story. There could been a sixth mascot or various that were never shown in public!
Also in 6:57 we see a broken cardboard of Salem when the player pass by it
I’m wondering if Salem has somehow disguised himself as Rambly
@@SoraKirin I doubt that! Rambly is an A.I. While, Molly and Lloyd are mutanted animals made out of flesh and blood! Same goes for Finley and Salem.
@@Digidragon55 Yeah, but Salem is still gonna be an antagonist in the game
8:37 I think the critter cuff has those soundwaves to scare away the mascots instead of having brain wave powers, kinda like a dog whistle. That might explain why Lloyd covered his ears and ran away. Maybe Lloyd had an issue of getting too close to people while the park was opened so the park probably put the sound frequency to help him keep his distance. Since it seems that feature only worked for Lloyd
Also I noticed I had headphones on for that part and when he grabbed Ed I heard a high pitch sound and it only picked up on my headphones

8:36 I think the whistle was ment to be a safety measure to control the mascots incase they went rouge, but workers where using it as a way to torture them
@@MattAttack911 Maybe, we'll see if the game continues on.
Also, "hurts" could be interpreted as "hates," which really isn't that far off.
I could see Lloyd and Molly seeing the bands have rambley on them and assume he is actively hurting them, or the band goes off when he decides.

Imagine the player runs into a monster mascot Rambley, and if it manages to attack them, it...steals their rambleberry collectable and runs off.
This is my guess.
u got that reversed, rambly was the origional and he had his 2 freinds as side characters on his adventures, but then they made lloyd and he got alot more popular then rambly and became the main attraction (which is why he has an entire area, and ramby has only a ride), rambly has a grudge cus he was pushed out of the spotlight, he was given a yellow pained version of his plush and lloyd got an entirely new one, this shows that rambly is less popular then lloyd, meaning lloyd must have took his spotlight at some point. we see that rambly and lloyd were freinds in a picture during lloyds part of the ride, but most likely lloyd became more popular and changed his personality to stay in the public eye, and rambly got annoyed and angry at him changing personality just to be the star longer.
Is Disney introduced an A.I. companion to the park, chances would be high that the default character would be Mickey.
The "You have known me for 100 years" line from Mollie is taken directly from Finley's section of the Rambley Railroad ride, where you can spot her stalking you throughout

@@pokemasterzelda8291 Yeah, but it might not show it, but give hints? It'd be nice if they all had AI.
"You've known me for 100 years." Is a line Finley says in the Railroad attraction. The other two do sound lore-relevant.
The broken apart cutout of salem is a pretty big giveaway in that area, not that we learn their name untill later.
just a note Molly is actually stalking you earlier in Rambely railroad during the molly part she slightly opens the door and closes it and she is the one stalking you in the one hallway the animatronic is at and partially in lloyd's theater. Also the one destroyed section when looking at it seems to actually be Salem's not Rambley's
Also quick edit, Finely does appear near the end if you look at the window Finely is popping out from the end.
you can also see her on camera after exiting the railway& Rambley's message. It kinda freaked me out when I saw it
And apparently in Lloyd's section she is literally right behind you in one of the windows...creepy

And the fact one of them is named JACKson. AND THEY BOTH WORK AS MASCOTS

I love the reference
Let'ss goo I wasn't the only one to see that XD
No clue if anyone mentioned this yet but before you go to the back of the theatre, Rambley says this : "Hey buddy, i got eyes all over the park, but i cant see anything behind the stage. If you're going back there be careful. your critter cuff is not yet able to rescuscitate you!"
Im thinking thag maybe Rambley knows more about what is going on than he lets on, seeing as he basically foreshadowing Lloyd attacking us lol
Edit: i looked up what he said line for line.
I think he mentioned ever since the Mascots went crazy things were never the same
So while he may not know the full damage of it, he is at least aware enough to know something is wrong with the Mascots since he was trapped at the front when the whole mess went down. So all he could hear was what others were saying
What the heck does he mean that the cuff can't resuscitate yet?! Is that something we're going to need later?! 😨
Raccoons are trickster animals!
Hands down best part of the game was Rambley with his little conductor hat bobbing his head back and forth to the music

2920 days is important. Divide it by 365, and you get 8 exactly. That means the the two were most likely planning to investigate on the 8 year anniversary, since this is in October, so it's two days before the anniversary of the close down.

THEY REALLY PUT A DSAF REFERENCE IN THERE.
Sorry for the confusion.)
Until near the end of game, I had always wondered if Rambley ever had an advance AI sentience, or just simply have a very expansive dialogue database. Consider also the fact he seems to turns himself on (with what power before the player fixed the generator) after being inactive for roughly 8 years, and his "voice actor" drops the cartoonish voice in some dialogues (especially after the chase sequence).
There's a few lines he says before one of the last ones that proves that he's aware of the situation and not pre-recorded.
I do really enjoy that the maskots are actually cute, makes the horror better.
This game is so well developed. I can't wait to see the next parts.
There's definitely issues but considering this is his first game.. yea it's well made for sure.
For a first actual game from a non-game dev this is pretty good

BanBan: i need to find my kid
Indigo Park: youtuber wants a good video
Goes from wanting to make a good video to wanting to fix the park what a 180
Finley reminds me so much of eeyore 🥺
I have a theory and its a bit crazy but I think Rambly the raccoon is the the main baddie (or one of them) and may have been super controlling of the other critters and Salem the skunk was actually trying to save them but failed or maybe she succeeded and the critters fought back leading to the park closing and when Rambly says he needs to players help to restore the park maybe he needs help taking back control of the park and the critters.
The reasons why I think this are because :
Lloyd was scared of the critter cuff and it was Rambly that gave the cuff to the player and it’s hinted that Rambly hurt him out of jealousy.
In the pixel game when Salem ‘turns Mollie evil’ she says something like “let’s see what she REALLY thinks of you” which could be a massive hint towards Rambly controlling the critters and she was helping Mollie break free but obviously it looks evil to the player who’s on Ramblys side at the moment AND at the end of the mini game we don’t actually see Rambly save Molly as it’s glitches so maybe that’s also a hint that he punished her brutally for ‘betraying him’
I’ve absolutely love this game, it’s so different from the other mascot horror games that have come out since Poppy Playtime and I can’t wait for the other chapters!
6:57 blink and you'll miss it but the cardboard cut out on the floor is the skunk from the videogame. There's also blood on the floor in that room... That means they probably have an attraction too right?
Maybe Salem has a chemistry lab that was for children and maybe their boss fight would involve fighting Salem with chemicals.

6:18 “great act Lloyd.😐”
5:55
Or maybe someone that dislikes Lloyd, which I think someone once worked in the park is pretending that’s Rambley I’m not 100% sure but let’s hope it’s true that Rampley is a friend.
So, Molly's parroted line "You've known me for 100 years?" What does Finley tell Rambley after the "why the long face and body" joke? *"You've known me for 100 years, Rambley."* It wasn't something someone said to her, it was something she heard when she was stalking the player.
This game is a breath of fresh air in a genre of low quality crappy games. It oozes with passion and effort
@@BingoiddMakes sense.
But here’s my issue how does the front have power but the rest of the park doesn’t and how does one generator power an entire park

This game has a ton of potential, I love the atmosphere the most
Theory time!
I'm guessing that this is because of two reasons:
1. His attraction is the most science/edutainment-adjacent; it's about the wonders of the sea, while Mollie's is building and flying airplanes, Lloyd puts on live shows, and Rambley can directly talk to people, so the vast majority of young kids would have likely found him the most boring (maybe he was an attraction intended for older kids?)
The harsher audio clips like the one about the cage may be from former employees.
dont forget that at Lloyd's stage if you look behind you upwards, you will see Rambley and Lloyd on good terms with... a contract i think?
I think where the ride breaks. Its the skunks area. Thats why you can see a cardboard cutout

I've got a good feeling about Rambley. I think he's gonna be the one character that seems nice that doesn't actually betray you.
11:50 "you've known me for 100 years" that's what Finley says to Rambley in the train ride! For anyone wondering.
Theory:
Hmmm what if the Molly animatronic line has more than one meaning? The first clear line we hear is "Not Rambly." This can be taken as "Rambly is not my friend," given the corrupted dialog before that. Or it's more simple: the raccoon we're talking to is NOT Rambly. It might be Salem instead since, other than the arcade game, Rambly doesn't mention Salem at all, not even in his little rant about the retro-style Llyod plushie. And, the ride breaks down in Salem's character introduction.
Cant believe this video came out so fast, good job!
Btw you can see maulie at 4:37

Ngl it took me a hot minute to find her lol

Indigo Park is definitely going to be one I'll be watching. Rambly is fun but I still will keep an eye on that rascally racoon. You can never tell...
theory: Salem Skunk is the villain. the part of the railroad where rambley glitches is Salems area. it all broken, but we can find a cutout of her. and the arcade must be hinting at the lore that she controls the mascots
I instantly pushed the notification when I got it I’ve been excited for this
correct answer
12:52 is this a reference to daylight at Freddie’s, old sport and vagas 🤣🤣🤣
yep
I enjoyed this play through. Love Rambley and his design. Can’t wait to see more from this series.
Also, here's my interpretation of what happened with the information we currently have:
The mascots were probably people with certain talents put into wearable animatronic suits to make the characters more life like. However, one of them didn't turn out the way the company expected:
The Rambley Rush game introduced us to Salem the skunk, who we currently don't know the gender of.
This is well thought out I like this idea of Salem being another Glitchtrap.
Well, the game made it seem likely, so I kinda figured this to be the case.
That poodle plush looks almost exactly like the character from a fnaf horror game called Playtime with Percy
12:14 pretty that was from Finley's introduction from the train ride
there is something wholesome and pleasant about Rambley. it's hard not to like him. but I also like that awful Salem the Skunk. looking forward to more of both.
