I think this is only problem with the x3, but the x4 fixed all this issues even in low light.

Ooh that's good to know - one thing I think I should've emphasized more in my video is that the main critique was around the X3 rather than the waterproof case. Unfortunately I don't have the funds to purchase the X4 to review/test 😕

you can switch to single lens mode for those close up shots

Thanks - maybe my scenario is a bit different where I've got an existing action camera (single lens equivalent) so the intent for me was to use the Insta360 for what it was 'made' to do. There's no doubt in my mind the Osmo action 3 has higher quality video in both land and underwater so I was really trying to test and see if the Insta360 has anything which goes beyond the Osmo Action. I probably should've mentioned that in the video - but will note for future reference to do a 'testing intent or methodology behind testing'. Thanks!
