I want to point out for those in the comments. Choose a place that is based of your personal value, integrity, what you like to do and see. Your list can be completely different and that is okay. Mexico is most definitely on my list based of my soul, spirit, and what im looking for in a community. I scouted in Merida this year and met so many Black Americans of all ages, family dynamics, and our elderly thriving and living in peace. Made my soul happy.
@madamcjwalker67 we should make sure protection and awareness is one of our top priorities no matter where you live but also still live. We are just desensitized to violence here in the U.S. we have people getting killed almost every 10 minutes. If you can live here you can live anywhere. I hate hearing that about the Gambia. It is truly sad.
I wish loll, My hometown Cap-haitien is beautiful but I am moving to Egypt in a few months with my son coming from America cause America is also getting very unhealthy and toxic.
I read an article the former President of Haiti was assassinated by private American citizens for business purposes. Awful. Lastly we have not used the term Afro-Americans since around 1980’s but good observation regarding Haiti. 💗
It’s so difficult - it’s one thing just being black but being black and gay put a whole different twist on this list. Panama and Ghana are out of the question - of course, the homophobia within various pockets of our community is ridiculous - but those are out of the question for me. And I’m not even outwardly - obviously gay - most people don’t even know I am unless they ask - but that’s not the point. I want feel comfortable wherever I live being who I am. Merida and Oaxaca sounds like the best places for me. Costa Rica sounds appealing but I need the sun 😂 and that London half a year of gloom mess, I cant deal with lol I’d be a depressed mess there 😂 But thank you all for this video, it was very helpful. 👍🏿
I disagree that South Africa should be considered a good destination for Africans from America. Crime is very high in SA and the load shedding - rolling blackouts due to issues with electricity - prohibit South Africa from being considered a safe destination for others to move to.
I'm South African and I think honestly the 'best' is quite a subjective topic. Yes, SA is beautiful and all that but there are a lot of better countries in Africa even.
I want to leave but can admit I’m not confident in my ability to adjust to a different culture. I have such great admiration for those that are able to adjust
I've been to Mexico over a dozen times, I've been to 6 of Costa Rica's 7 provinces and I've been to Panama but, one country I would put at the very top of this list is New Zealand. I was there for 26 days this past January. The place is clean, has universal health care, not crowded at all, very safe and the people there are very friendly. The cops there don't even carry guns. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be rich to live there. You do have to have your financial house in order, and you can't be barely making ends meet but, you don't have to be rich to retire there. The retirement visa is only good for two years so, every two years you have to renew it and you're literally on the other side of the planet from the USA (that could be a good thing) but, if you can deal with those two things, IMHO, New Zealand is the closest thing to paradise on the planet.
Hey Mark and Marlene...Love you guys channel and content. Question, can you give the name of the top 2 companies in Tanzania providing internet service? I have a friend who is considering moving there and working remotely online and has to have top quality and reliability...
@@MMBeing People have different perspectives… Halotel offered by far the fastest median download speed in Q1 of 2022 at 17.84 Megabytes per second (Mbps) followed by Vodacom (12.09 Mbps), Airtel (10.6 Mbps), TTCL (10.4 Mbps).
I completely understand why Americans of all races wanna bounce up outta here. I wish you all the best fam. But as for me leavin' Merica, it's a hard "No." I love me some Chula Vista, California y'all! Beautiful weather, fabulous beaches, no mosquitos in the summer, the lights stay on all the time, you can flush the toilet paper, the police don't solicit or accept bribes, Taco Tuesdays, Trader Joe's, central A/C, 911, no stray dogs, the lowest rate of violent crime of any city it's size on Earth...I could go on and on. Bottom line para me: My people helped build America into the richest country on Earth brick-by-brick, house-by-house and block-by-block. We got too much blood, sweat and tears in this American soil for me to pack up and leave. The haters and the bad cops won't win the game I'm playin'. More importantly, there's no way I'm moving to a "developing country" after puttin' in all this work! I still have a willingness to struggle and I ain't gonna let nobody turn me around. Hence, I ain't goin' nowhere!
Some will most definitely stay in America and I see nothing wrong with it. Just be prepared for anything as the changes occur. Some like the constant battling etc. everyone should is different I am not knocking either. Choose what's best for you.
😂😂😂 And is mindset is why black folks probably don't want to go to South Africa! Smh. Africa should be ashamed of themselves. We are genetically linked to Africa. And the reason why we don't know our _native_ language, we don't know our own culture, well we all know why don't we? Be more welcoming to the people in the diaspora as opposed to posting stuff like this!
Mexico, are you serious, the drug cartell is awful and the economy, if Mexico is so great why are thousands crossing the border to come to the USA...😢😂😢😂😢😂😢😂😢😂
Plenty of Black families are thriving in Mexico minding our Black business. O Family and Fro Family Travels are 2 examples doing it and sharing on social media It’s possible! ✊🏾 ✈️ 🇲🇽
I have been living in Mexico for the past 7.5 years. Peacefully, thank you very much! Thousands cross the border to come to the US because the average Mexican makes about $400 US per month. They come there because they believe that they have a chance to become wealthy. I came because I can live on my retirement well here.
Where are the 5 best places for Samoans, Phillipinos and Irish to live? Why do AA have to search THE MOST HIGH earth to find a place to live? Is it because of them Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 curses? And we know there is no such thing as AA.

💯 very insightful, you get it!
After seeing videos of 6 Black American women killed in The Gambia Africa, I feel more of us need to relocate in groups to protect each other.

We actually just signed our lease for our apartment in Panama.
Wow that's exciting, congratulations 🎉

South Africa Should be top of this list. I dont think you guys know whats going on in Ghana.kenya , Botswana ,and Namibia should be considered too.
Why South Africa, I've heard crime is high?
I disagree that South Africa should be considered a good destination for Africans from America. Crime is very high in SA and the load shedding - rolling blackouts due to issues with electricity - prohibit South Africa from being considered a safe destination for others to move to.

Mexico still happier place than the us
I disagree with this list, here's my top 5:
1. Jamaica
2. Ghana
3. Oman
4. Canada
5. New Zealand
the idea is to get out of the West. Cananda and New zealand are western
TOO many Latin American countries !
AFRICA offers BOTSWANA, NAMIBIA . Safe countries, very little crime, 4 seasons, middle class standard of living !
