Great video, always enjoy watching them. These videos help with the instructions to. Tip: I always use double bend scissors for cutting the fabric in the hoop. Makes life much easier. I have several pairs, different sizes and duck bills as well.
There are sew many tips and tricks that I've learned from watching your videos (Which are very well done). Pinning your fabric in the hoop, and trimming the batting before adding the top fabric (sure saves on bulk in the seams). A personal tip - watch the video before you start a project, print the directions and assemble all the supplies needed to complete your project.
Kay, thank you again for another great tutorial. My best tip is read the instructions get everything ready. Once started tick off each step and keep tablet handy to watch video in case required. I have to saythat Kreative Kiwi deigns are the very best with excellent instructions and I very rarely have a problem.
Thank you, Kay. Tip: I have multiple sizes of magnetic hoops and use them for in the hoop projects. I am still able to use flat pins next to the frame to prevent the stabilizer from shifting during stitching.
Thank you Kay!! A wonderful tutorial, as always 😘 My embroidery tip : As I live in a very humid part of the world, I find that I sometimes have a bit of a problem with my Washaway film (Solvy). I store it in a ziplock bag when not in use and find that it stays dry that way
Thank you for sharing and as always a great tutorial…!!! Tip: When switching thread color on single needle machine (flatbed) you should never pull thread from top through tension points (unless thread breaks at that point and you have no other option) because it will/can eventually affect the upper thread tension on machine and cause bad stitch outs and/or machine repair issues…
Great tutorial as always. I love your projects and think they are the best. It really amazes me as to where you get your ideas from as you are most certainly very talented. Everything you design is of a good reliable quality and always stitch out beautifully with clear and easy step by step instructions plus usually a video tutorial to go along with it. Keep up the great work ❤❤ Now I don’t have a favourite embroidery tip as such, but if I had to say something then this is what I would suggest. “Always safety first, make sure you have a clean machine and a new needle ready to start. Take your time, it’s not a race, be mindful of where your hands are as you don’t want to stitch them too. Just have fun and go with the flow.” 😊❤😊❤😊❤
When making bib straps and in the hoop bags I cut off the excess fabric with pinking sheers as you can get very close to the stitches and when turned through it lase very flat.
TIP #2: If I'm filling the 5x7 hoop with the batting and fabric, I will save a couple of steps and place them together in one step. Then I trim the batting and fabric in one step as well. This saves time especially when making multiple designs such as Christmas ornaments. Hope this helps!
TIP: When I trim the design from the hoop, I leave about 1/4" of the water soluble stabilizer. This helps to avoid trimming into the stitches. Then I wet the stabilizer and it just peels away. Hope this helps!
Way do you use 2 layers of the stabiliser ? Just found your channel and enjoying it, can’t wait to give it a go, I’m a newbie at embroidery. (Already made purchase at creative kiwi: so many AMAZING designs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻

Great tutorial. My big tip is when embroidering anything with cotton batting, always clean fuzz from bobbin case area often
My tip is to watch your videos whether you are a beginner or an experienced embroiderer. They are a wonderful learning tool

I like the pinning the project on the sides to reduce movement.
Love your videos. Tip: always pull thread out from needle not from the top
Thank you, Kay.

Thank you Kay. I like to go through each step and write down the color of thread I'm using for that step.

l always have 2 windows open on my pc when embroidering. 1 with pdf instructions and one with picture of finished design so i know it looks right

PS..I peel away the wet stabilizer with tweezers 😊
