Dunce hat time for me as I managed just 3. If it was a reveal the answer and score a point for saying 'I can see it now' scenario then I'd be top of the class & nobody else would have had a look in.
I got 22 ! The three I didn't get were Michael Parkinson, Ainsley Harriott and I couldn't remember Richard Briers' surname !! That was fascinating, especially seeing the faces of some of the older actors and how you could still tell it was them! Thanks, Stu.
I only got some of the tricky ones wrong or couldn't quite think of who they were, like Martin Clunes. The wife and I bought the dvds of the 1950s Robin Hood tv series and we've seen Paul Eddington, Sydney James,Leslie Phillips,Patrick Cargill and Joan Sims in some of those episodes!
I managed to get over half of these people The harder ones were people like Claude Greengrass in Heartbeat (Lovely Bill) Hilda Ogden in Coronation Street (lovely Jean) Those that were born say before 1930 And I expect many got Thora She was a beautiful looking woman - her hair You can see where her daughter Janette got her looks from (married to Mel Torme) I did not get Joanna Lumley ❤️❤️👍 👍 🏴🏴
Before they were Famous Quiz: 11/25🤦♀️ How did I do... abysmal!! I did get Martin Clunes right...and I guessed Jean Alexander on another photograph. A great guessing game, Stu. Looking forward to your next video 📹
Number 7, you got the surname wrong, it's pronounced Lovely.😂 I love the way this video made me say "oh yeah, of course " Another entertaining excursion to the past. Thank You.
I didn't get 'all' of them wrong. One even had her name on the photo. But Martin Clunes hasn't changed much. Having said that, if it's any consolation (to me), I did know who ALL of them are / were in the older photos. 😁
8 named, 'knew the face of about 8 more, had no idea the remaining nine. But in my defence I threw the TV out of the house in 1984 and it's never returned.
Argh! The ones I really should have known caught me out! Patrick Stewart as ST:TNG is my favourite Trek, Picard being my favourite captain (sorry Kirk fans, Picard's just the best!), and Silvester McCoy as he's my 3rd favourite Doctor (5, 6 and 7 in that order). You flummox me every time! I did get Burt Kwok instantly though, he's unmistakable. And Martin Clunes I got right at the start of the video; that top lip is a dead giveaway! I knew Des Lynam but could not think of his name. I got none of the woman, to my shame.
Well thats by far the toughest yet. Managed a massive 4 on this, one of those being due to their name being on the younger photo. Did you miss that one by any chance.
I got about 13 or 14 I think Stu. Are you sure that's Sir Michael Parkinson as a boy? Honestly it looks like Heydon Prowse, the actor who played the sick boy in the wonderful film version of The Secret Garden (which also starred Maggie Smith).
I only got a dissapointing 10. However i thought Martin Clunes was really easy and not difficult at all. And Joanna Lumley has her name on the picture so even easier. Good quiz though.
@@stuviewtv great though, thanks for videos love the channel and even though i was born in the 80s, still love the retro aspect. Can you do a Christmastime one, eg, What Christmases used to be like then, decorations, lights, trees, traditions, cards etc... (And nlanother if you havent already, what people used to have in thier houses, as looking back at photos it was all orange brown wallpaper, avocado bathroom suites, velvet wall hangings, a picture also i am told is Miss Wong? Whoever that is but was a popular artwork ) thanks again! EDIT - seems the picture is Miss Wong - by Tretchikoff
I got about 4 ....but kept saying oh that's thingy.. 😂
As soon as the other photo appears it's "Oh yeah, of course" 😂
Dunce hat time for me as I managed just 3. If it was a reveal the answer and score a point for saying 'I can see it now' scenario then I'd be top of the class & nobody else would have had a look in.
It is a toughie!

Wow, what a great score on such a tricky quiz!
Wasn't sure about Joanna Lumley until I noticed it was an an agency publicity photo and her name was on it!😂
Got 6 but recognised lots but couldn’t remember names in time. Visual memory far better than verbal! 😂🇬🇧
Nice mix of faces...I thought Martin Clunes looked the same, just minus the wrinkles...🤣😂
Very true!
Love quizs, good for the little grey cells ☺
13 here, quite a tough quiz matey.
That's a good score for such a tough quiz as this one.
Blimey Stu, that was a tough one, i only got 9🙈 great quiz as always 🙂
A proper dastardly quiz this one!
@stuviewtv It certainly was 😬
You got me on a few of those but when you showed who it was I thought,"Obviously!"
19! Boom. Watching telly and dodging school finally paid off!
Fantastic score for such a tough quiz.
Loved this!
Thanks!
Well I was appalling only 4 for me, great Quiz Stu.
Glad you still enjoyed the quiz!
I managed 15. I had a little bit of brain fog on a couple of them where I could see the actor but could not get the name. I really enjoyed this quiz.
That's a great score for this quiz.
Astonished that i only got 14 of these! Damn, Mirren and Kwouk were good looking back in the day.
I managed to get over half of these people
The harder ones were people like
Claude Greengrass in Heartbeat (Lovely Bill)
Hilda Ogden in Coronation Street (lovely Jean)
Those that were born say before 1930
And I expect many got Thora
She was a beautiful looking woman - her hair

I did not get Joanna Lumley
❤️❤️👍 👍 🏴🏴

11 is not too bad for this quiz. Definitely a toughie!
Only got Helen and Des!!
I only got two but one was Burt Kwouk so I’m happy with that 😉😊
Number 7, you got the surname wrong, it's pronounced Lovely.😂
I love the way this video made me say "oh yeah, of course "
Another entertaining excursion to the past. Thank You.
It is certainly a tricky one this!
It's amazing how much some people change and others don't. And of course it depends on the age in the 'old' photo.
I got 3 lol, absolute rubbish, anyway love your quizzes Stu, keep em coming !!
Thanks!
Only got Joanna Lumley as her name was on the photo!
Love David Attenborough.
It helped having Joanna Lumley's name on the old photo.
7! The worst I've ever got, they were fiendish, but where's the challenge if they're easy?
Thanks so much for your work in compiling.
My fiendish pleasure! 😉
Blimey I’m crap! 3 or 4 though I did get Clunes right 😂😂😂
I got martin Clunes, the first two and a bloke I thought looked like Dickie Davies and lo and behold it was lol..also joanna lumley and judi Dench!
Oh dear, not one of my best results, 7!
12 scored terrible 😂😂
Thanks Stu.👍🏻
That's not too bad for this quiz!
I didn't get 'all' of them wrong. One even had her name on the photo. But Martin Clunes hasn't changed much. Having said that, if it's any consolation (to me), I did know who ALL of them are / were in the older photos. 😁
Yes I knew them but I found the baby photos harder like ooow I know that mouth/eyes etc it's what's his/her name😊👍
8 named, 'knew the face of about 8 more, had no idea the remaining nine.
But in my defence I threw the TV out of the house in 1984 and it's never returned.
Only four this time around. Maggie Smith, Des Lyneham, Burt Kwouk and Judi Dench.
'There is nothing like a dame!' I failed on 9! But really enjoyed it, thank you!
Glad you liked it Tony. That's a really good score you got there for a tough quiz.
@@stuviewtv Cheers Stu, great fun
A bad start (stumped by number 2!) but then recovered, but then tailed off badly!! 15..
Only eight for me, although there were a few whose names I just couldn't remember. Please post these before I've had a glass of wine. Or two.
Will do! 😃
Perhaps No. 7 would have been more of a cvhallenge if it didn't have "@JoannaLumleySwee" written along her left shoulder!
Got 10 . Got Chris Tarrant .
Martin Clunes still looks the same
Big fat zero ! LoL😊
Got 12 cos 2 I knew first name or surname😊 enjoyed that 👍
That was fun. (Even though I only got one right. 😞)
Glad you still enjoyed it!
I'm very proud to say....... I only got 2!
Got 9.
I didn’t get many right either 3! Doh!
Superb..
Thank you!

Must be the hair with Patrick Stewart that tricks people!
Just 10 from me, normally get around half right.
It's a pretty tough quiz this one.
2 out of 25 lol Dame Helen Mirren and the easiest of the 25, Burt Kwouk
I got 12. I knew about 3 more but couldn't remember their names within the 5 seconds.
Great quiz Stu thank you , my score was a pitiful 6 😢😢😢😢
Glad you still enjoyed it! It is quite a tough one.
3 stu hope hot Christmas quiz planned
Absolutely!
I got 10, but I'm mildly face blind (prosopagnosia) so I'll call that a win.
Sir Patrick Stewart looks like a Kray twin.
Well thats by far the toughest yet. Managed a massive 4 on this, one of those being due to their name being on the younger photo. Did you miss that one by any chance.
I did indeed...
I hold my head shame, only got 6 😧 good quiz though 👍
Glad you still enjoyed it! Definitely a tough one.
I got about 13 or 14 I think Stu. Are you sure that's Sir Michael Parkinson as a boy? Honestly it looks like Heydon Prowse, the actor who played the sick boy in the wonderful film version of The Secret Garden (which also starred Maggie Smith).
Yes, definitely Sir Michael. That's quite a decent score you got there for a tough quiz.
9 here Stu
Not bad for this old timer lol
That's pretty decent for such a tricky quiz!
I only got a dissapointing 10.
However i thought Martin Clunes was really easy and not difficult at all.
And Joanna Lumley has her name on the picture so even easier.
Good quiz though.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
I only got 7,but very tricky.
Considering I thought the last one was Benny Hill....not too well !
All apart from Miriam - a good assortment.
Only managed 7 and I'm old lol
Only got 8.
first glance i thought 25 was Alan Carr lmao.
Not quite!
So bad I got one shows how much I watch tv.😭😭
Blimey didn't know helen mirran was a bit of a looker when she was younger
You should watch the movie Excalibur. You'll thank me after.
I googled her a few pics years ago. Used to be stunning. Great quiz, thanks.
she is still a stunner for her age now.
She looks like Hilary Duff and a hint of Gwyneth Paltrow
Check out a movie called The Age of Consent with a young Helen Mirren and James Mason filmed in Australia. She was hot .
20 for me ( I should get out more )
Brilliant score!
4 🙈
No offence, but I think Margaret Rutherford has to be my favourite Miss Marple.
Agatha Christie hated her portrayal. It was nothing like Christie had written. Joan Hickson was the definitive Miss Marple.
Helen Mirren - beautiful
Spoiled Joanna Lumley as her name was on it oops...
Oh well, got to gift a point here and there!
Oh, I didn't spot that, I was mesmerised by her charm, as always!
@@stuviewtv great though, thanks for videos love the channel and even though i was born in the 80s, still love the retro aspect. @@jrsc01. Glad you are enjoying the channel! Some nice ideas for videos there too...many thanks!
Even a one or two word cryptic clue would be good. Because noone wants to watch a video where they're made to feel stupid. 😀
7/25
Eight 😂 Shameful !
That's ok really for a very tough quiz.
@stuviewtv Cheers Stu 😃
You can tell a Brit posted this!
