Hi This vid shows a beautiful 4" scale traction engine running at Cultra. Hope you enjoy it, feel free to like, comment and subscribe, I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks
interesante maquina de vapor...!!! quisiera preguntar si esa máquina fue construida de manera artesanal por el propio dueño, oh fue por otros medios???
i had a little model mamod ages ago and know that you need to make sure every nut and bolt is tight before firing up and that they have been oiled and that you actually have water in the tank before even thinking about firing up. also the fire box needs clearing out of ash every time you use it and also theres a part where you put oil in too so it can keep its insides oiled. still wouldnt mind having one but may still have to get quad before hand.. its just i really hate my car and being in cars.. as i keep getting too comfortable in them and losing concentration however if i had something that requires a lot of work, maybe one of these or a quad, to keep moving then i wont get comfy and lose concentration. the quad im looking into is a quadzilla RS6 because its cheap enough for me to save up to within a year and requires you to keep moving to keep it balanced while turning.
What a lovely little engine! Certainly has a lot of steam! LOL! Great work!
Thanks, it really is a beautiful engine, it was really cold so I guess that added to the amount of steam, gives a more atmospheric feel. Cheers.
Good little video, lovely engine, would love one of these someday. We can all dream lol, the full size garrets were perfect for wood sawing
I would love to own one as well
Awesome dude,
Haha awesome little engine
Thank you
Good video, looks like those safeties make visibility interesting! :-)
Sure does
soo much steam, love it
thanks :)
I had the same problem on my 4.5 " burrell witht the safety valves they need re seating and grinding then they will be as good as new
sounds the part!
Thank you
love those traction engines! I think the steam exhaust should be directed downward so as to not obscure the driver's vision.
I love them too!

What's that whistle called? The one that looks like a horn & when it whistles it's sounds like a siren.
What's the boiler pressure you guys run on these guys?I'm building one right now:)
Are These A Regular Sight Around Where You Live?
That is so cool. How much pressure is the boiler making? how much does the tractor weigh?
She produces 120psi and weighs over half a ton according to the owner.
Where can I buy one
what is that strange whistle called? also fab looking engine :)
Thank you and it's called a siren,
oh thanks XD
love these things but how are they on hills and stuff like that?
So do I, they can climb hills no problem what so ever.
i may get one after getting a quad bike, or i may get one instead of the quad bike
I can't choose that for you mate, they are very expensive and require a very high level of maintenance and skill to get it going.

I wouldn't recommend the one in the video of your planning to use it for far distances and everyday, so maybe a quad would be better?
ha ha nice video who thought chris would ever be famous
Thanks
