$27 isn't terrible but I feel like there might be a better deal out there considering it was just available on PS Plus for free and the game is quite outdated at this point (see roster list). I also don't see 2k investing in more content for this game. It's worth picking up but I'd search around a bit more if you can.
Would this be good to play with a 7 year old? I'm thinking about buying the game while it's on sale for $15 and also buy the ultimate brawler unlock. However, it's not for me, I tend to play it with my little nephew, buts he's 7. Not sure if the controls would be to difficult for him to master. I'll probably just use the old wrestlers I grew up with. So, I don't really tend to play this by myself and only with him.
Hmmm, I guess that would depend on what games he's already playing/familiar with. These games were much simpler when I was 7. I will say that the controls can get confusing, especially when you're switching between character types (not many of the controls are consistent between wrestlers) but I think if you turn down the difficulty it could be fun.
Can you unlock retro rock or was that only pre order bonus?

The Brawlers Pass is not available on the Switch yet. If you go to the 2k store website, you should be able to find more information.
