"Leaning too much in the direction of being inappropriate" could mean anything. That's not even an admission that it's outright "inappropriate". He said he emphasized the word minor in his statement, then edited it because he apparently wanted to bait everyone into having an extreme reaction while also losing major sponsorships and collaborators in the process. Hell, we encourage it. Think about this from a business perspective: Twitch's competition has been growing over the years, and they're not the only player in the space. In the heat of competition, it makes ZERO sense for a platform to ban one of the biggest names in gaming and digital content over something frivolous. They make money with Doc on their platform. If it were a money issue, like he hypothesized, it makes ZERO sense. A company isn’t going to risk having it blow up in their face and end up paying him out anyway over something petty, just because a few people don't like him. You say it's not complicated, but you seem to only be going off of his words, even though he put out a statement admitting he was communicating with a minor, and stated during his return stream that he did it intentionally to bait the media. He lost money, sponsorships, and collaborators because of that. Does that sound like a smart business move? He tarnished his own brand, and a large portion of the community has turned away from him. You're welcome to believe whatever you want because clearly, you're firm in your stance. I've considered his point of view, but it doesn't make sense.

Also if the person in question was indeed a minor but it’s been proven that no inappropriate messages, images or conversation ever took place then all of a sudden just talking to a minor is somehow wrong like you can’t interact with fans or anyone under the age of 18?

Oh and also the litany of twitch users that inappropriately correspond with users under the age of 18 but have never once been reprimanded is staggering to say the least. Which adds to Doc’s argument of it clearly being a witch hunt. Good try though. @ttsrrll So let's break this down: 1 - He admitted to having conversations with a minor that were inappropriate. Your takeaway from my last comment seems to be that the person may not have been a minor when Doc in fact stated it was a minor. His claim of baiting the media is weird behavior, also considering he lost sponsors, revenue, and relationships with content collaborators. 2 - It's not unreasonable to think that the user could have been (A.) in a state/jurisdiction where the age of consent is under 18 (It's 16 in the state of Maine), or (B.) in a country/jurisdiction where the age of consent is under the age of 18. If it was someone outside of the US, what is a US court going to do? Also, I agree with the thought that there are likely more scumbags out there doing the same crap Doc did. I just discussed the MrBeast/Kris Tyson situation a few weeks ago. It's gross and I'd certainly comment on more news as it's announced. Additionally, I agree with you that in America, you are INNOCENT until proven guilty - But again, allow me to point you to Doc's now-deleted tweet where he admitted to inappropriate conversations with a minor.

@@BrainWreckTV Well WreckedBrainsNotGoodEnoughForTV, Cody and Dustin took eachother to the absolute limit in their AEW match. Dustin has regularly looked incredible in ring in 1v1s. His mic work being good is SOLELY based on the fact that he is fiery and genuine in his mic work because he gets to be himself again. But no, let's make him a lackey to a group of far more interesting characters just for him to love 6v1 against his own brother. Suuuure

The reasoning you gave about Dustin still being a solid work is why we think this idea could work. He's still at the top of his game. He has a history of playing weird characters and would absolutely fit in with the vibe of the Wyatt 6. He's a great storyteller. They'd bring him in not to be a bump guy or lackey, not to be someone who hangs in the background, but someone who could potentially bring an extra level of intrigue to a potential story.

Goldust would not work for the idea we had in mind. Plus, I think he's done with that character too. It'd be interesting to see how we could evolve his current look in AEW and apply it to the Wyatt Sicks style. He's still a hell of a worker and solid on the mic. The promos could be wild.
