We’re getting another update again, of course ahah. But this will make it insanely immersive, and I’ve been wanting this for squad.
Unfortunately, it will end up being a meme where players will avoid using local voip to avoid potentially giving away their position, and only use local when they are down and want to yell, distract, and troll enemies.
@@lilfuzzballa Probably not. Because it's a mod thing. And modded servers usually have more decidated and tactical players. At least from my experience. Since you kinda need to have a big interest and experience in the base game to try out the mods. Aka modded servers already have and will probably always have that "teamwork" mindset

Nice! I can finally come back. The scope sway/movement sway was perfect when ICO was first rolled out. Then they buffed it and it was like I was sitting on a tug boat in a hurricane. The game literally became un playable for me. Nice to see they nerfed it back.

For a game that's super realistic is why don't none of these tanks have a laser range finder so u don't have to aim above at range as its done through computers
The one thing I wish they’ed do is make more infantry stance positions. I find myself trying to shoot through windows or fence and standing nor crouching gives me a sight picture. Can be extremely annoying.

For the VDV they should do a complete overhaul for uniforms and add new vehicles. Uniforms- they should wear EMR helmets,vest, and knee/elbow pads but for there main uniform they will wear Reversible Suit 65h122. Weapons- they should be able to either use Ak-12 or modernized Ak-74Ms Vehicles- They should add VDV buggy with 3 variants/1 would just be able to drive with 3 players, 2 will be able to have 2 players and 1 player on a MG,3 same as 2 but kornet launcher. And instead of the old BMD-1 which there are no more BMD-1s on service but the BMD-2 with 2 variants such as BMD-2 without ATGM and one with it .
I agree that they are ripe for changes, but there is a better approach to vehicles in my opinion. (Also weapon wise there really is just no purpose to offering AK 74s), the BMD 1 is already only on the support unit so its less about replacing them and more making the BMD4 special since the BMD2 really is the workhorse vehicle not the BMD4, (and since the BMD2 would be a very mediocre ifv they can move to having more of them and less apcs to be closer to actual VDV units) I also don't see the experimental shift towards buggies (which is more for special forces anyways) being the ideal addition to a faction that otherwise is unique for not having traditional light vehicles and being pushed towards mechanized infantry. If they want to have some lighter vehicles I would suggest support vehicles like the short kamaz with an aa gun (also just replacing what Kamazs they get with the faster short version in general) if they really want to have something wacky though I suppose they could give them the ultimate rws vehicle in the VDV Typhoon.
After playing the update it’s a great step in the right direction. The thing with map voting is that your team still chooses to pick terrible teams…. I thought I was tired of playing as insurgents hahahaha well now every game it’s insurgents v whoever it’s so annoying. I’d love to try out the new stuff but there’s nothing you can do when you have teammates with 0 IQ and vote for insurgents every chance they get….
People will soon learn. We've heavily restricted the voting on DoD and will be putting in a few extra exclusions for certain faction / game mode pair ups
Hey Honcho, unrelated to anything but whats your graphics settings? I am struggling with mine using PiP scopes. I try changing everything but they always look very fuzzy and pixelated when i have it set to ‘clarity’, but all blurry and ghosted when set to ‘AA’. I can’t get it to look “normal”

But its not like all players are saying that, some people suggest it and then the vast majority are never commenting on it. Like comeon think about it for just a moment in practice and surely you will realize why a truly random advance and secure is a bad idea. 1: Maps only have certain amounts of points of interests, this is a significant limitation on how many objective site options would be available on any given map, and breaking from this just seems terrible, who wants a primary objective to be some random patch of woods or just some field? 2: If we agree thats too far and POIs exist for a reason, we then run into the fact that having POI chains is either basically just recreating the existing system, or allowing for these obnoxious zigzags across the map just for the sake of increased unpredictability, something which already happens once in a while in the current system and is disliked which you would just be making happen more often. This really is just an idea that does not stand up to scrutiny, what you really want is just more gamemodes which have a different format of objective. Which I do completely agree with.
People are just going to keep voting US Army or US Marines, they already get all the good stuff and now they've gotten more, meanwhile the other Blufor factions are forgotten about or the devs come in and actively REMOVE stuff from them such as removing the 50cal RWS bulldog and replacing it with a 7.62 one and removing mines from UK and Canada...

Having middle eastern only in the Middle East or China only in Jungle etc. is pretty lame. Let each server choose if they wanted to - and I wouldn't play on those who did, even while I do gravitate way more toward milsim than casual fps.
I mean in practice this isnt much a of a change from how it currently works, MEA and insurgents dont appear in european maps or anything. The only notable change is China no longer on Skorpo/Harju/Narva, Militia no longer being in Goose Bay/Manicougan, but those two maps now being able to have non American bluefor factions.

turn the scope resolution up to 125 and regular resolution to 105
