Sheeeeshhh!!! There's a short film here on youtube, Hatherton Motocross Circuit Today somebody posted of the track as it was up to a few years ago. I even commented a year ago about Thorpe and Banks! Thanks for posting Staffihound.
I miss this track, was a great place to race, they said they wanted to make a road race track and closed it down, I think it was a excuse so they could tip in the valley and coin it in! Never did make the track

Hats off to Banks!! Riding that production bike so well against Thorpes’ big works Honda! Great racing!
Was a great Tack, remember riding there when it was a quagmire though, got lapped by Roger Harvey on the Norton Villiers 'AJS Stormer'!!!
Nearly every town had a track years ago
Go out on Audlem Road from Nantwich for about 2 miles and the track was on the right hand side. Don't think the locals liked it it due to the noise
