+fightTIPS Hagler was great at switching, didn`t use it against Leonard, would have helped during their first four rounds when Marvin only fought orthodox, he should have used the walk forward on the cross.

      Martial Lee - Freestyle Fighting
Its not about under utilized. It just throws most peoples rythm off to switch their stance so most fighters dont do it. If I switch to a lead right to fight a southpaw I may get clocked in the process.

Clorox Bleach I did my 1st amature fight last week for cancer charity, I felt exactly the same right until that bell went, unbelievably I was totally calm and composed the second that bell went. we were the least fit out of the whole group so we were both knackered within 30 seconds lol, I never threw a single haymaker and 90% of my punches were hard jabs and the ref stopped it in the 3rd round.
it felt fantastic during and after the fight but awful before it haha iv watched it back 50 times and noticed Al sorts of good and bad stuff but overall I surprised myself just how effective my jab was.
tldr everybody feels like that you'll be fine mate

Personally, I’m a boxer with an awkward yet effectively aggressive style that utilizes shifting. This video and your videos are practical and effective because you explain fight tactics simply and comprehensively. Keep up the great work, champ.

Great video Shane! Something that Vasyl Lomachenko does that I shadowed now is he likes to do his notorious pivot on his lead foot, then generally throws a rear hook. He will then bring his rear foot to the center of his opponents feet, then pivot again and finish with a right hook. This is great for a straight boxing discipline as you will be in and out of range of your opponents

Yeah man, probably one of the best technical vids you made, but you should make a sister vid on attacking / countering the switches as well because it will also help by teaching how & what to defend against while switching, in regards to exposing the associated vulnerabilities.
Also, slow motion would help....you're still pretty fast!
IE: #1 = If you leap, you sleep in boxing.

(URGENT PLEASE HELP!) I have a big fight coming up and my elbow hurts when I punch from overextending the joint or elbow lockout. Please do another video on how to punch correctly without elbow pain. Talk about how to twist, and not just how to use your shoulder but the correct angle when you fully extend. Explain more than anyone has ever explained before. Do a video quick, I need to save me, my family, and my mom before its too late! And remember, time is ticking !!!

The one I use most is lead if the right and shuffle whlile moving foward with the left.
You surprise the opponent chenging the tempo starting with a quick right and the left that usually is a jab goes like a cross while stepping outside the opponent front foot.
