This isn't their main balance patch. They said that comes after EVO. Complaining about patches being insufficient in it's current state is kind of like Complaining that you're not full after eating an appetizer. Wait for the main course before Complaining.
As a Jun main, it makes sense that you should only get health on contact - if you make a poor judgement and miss, she shouldn’t get health back. Although, I never knew the first hit could be SS, I’ll have to be mindful of that!
You can currently side step Jun’s first hit of heat smash and if you’re close enough hit her before the second comes out, but it’s a hard read situation so hopefully they need the second hit tracking enough so you can side step walk it
@@emmarosie7176 The reason is that she exchanges health for bigger damage. I'd say that's a pretty good reason considering dealing damage to the opponent is the whole point of the game 😂

Yeah I wish Bamco showed more of the Dragunov/Jun changes, plain text doesn’t show a lot.
Zaf’s self damage moves need to go. It’s a foolish concept when you have a cast with the most observed moves and abilities.

That faint sound you hear in the distance is tons of azucena mains grumbling over who to play as now that they can't spam WR3,2 as much as they want.

They changed Feng a tiny bit, his DB3 doesn't high crush mids anymore, but they made the hitbox hit downwards more consistently.

Thats what I was thinking, l believe we can only get a small backturn punish from the looks of it
I also think that only a hndfull of characters can punis on that range. and not a guaranteed full combo as azu is on backturned :( @@xiSyndox
The move is now similar to King's wr3 or Drag's wr2 on whiff. It's not meant to be easy to punish those type of moves in the open.
