READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on the kool aid ! Recky and Carol did not read the instructions the first time they received kool aid and it didn't go well HAHAHA
Yea. If it's not pre sweetened then, it's usually 2 cups of sugar and 2 litters of water. I have seen some just add the packet to some water. 😂
i remember that video. i went from shouting at the screen to laughing my ass off in about 0.03 seconds
Jolly did the same thing
The kids are fine, stop interrupting them and let them have fun
@@ashrak12 One packet kool aid, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 gallon (64 oz) water
For US ingredients labeling, items are listed in order by weight. So items listed first make up the highest portions. So good news is the jerky should be mostly kangaroo and gator.
We love our BlackHawks!! Hello family from Chicago!
Candy corn is one of those things that 50% like it and 50% don't
Yes for the traditional but the flavored ones are better. I hate traditional candy corn. My favorite is the cherry flavored candy corn
It depends on the brand for me.
Brock's candies are the best for candy corn and all other Halloween candy.
Can confirm. I think it's super nasty.
I'm in the 50% that love it. Also the 50% that love Marshmallow Peeps. 😂
As a Kid I didn't like them, but now as an adult I do.
The reason that they are called Kisses is that the machine that makes them looks like lips kissing the conveyor belt.
I never knew that. Thanks for sharing that interesting tidbit.
I live near Hershey. I've seen them made 1,000 times. It's still pretty cool to watch.
Nancy is the GOAT. Always sending the best gifts. That book looked awesome.
I like seeing them excited to show stuff off lol. I worry sometimes about these family channels. So many ended up having terrible parents forcing their kids in vlogs and videos. Your family doesn't seem that way.
Loved seeing how excited the kids were to open. Grumpy Jono also added to the fun 😂😂
My son and I are going to North Conway October 6th and spending a week there. The trees we hope will be are there peak autumn colors. It will be an 11 hour drive for us. Every autumn we take a trip to see the beautiful leaves in different states
We all get acne!! It’s just a part of life!
Don’t stress about it too much! Before you know it, it will be a part of the past!
I’m 37 and still have acne. 😭
@@jman0870 damn…. Well for most people it goes away almost entirely at a certain point

The USDA (United States Dept. Agriculture) labeling requirements are: When a food contains artificial flavoring, the label must include the word "artificial" or "artificially flavored" in letters that are at least half the height of the food's name.
There are some good things about American labeling standards, and some bad things. For starters, it is great that they require everything also have its constituent parts labeled. It sucks that this often makes people scared because they see what is actually in their food, and they are "big words" most of the time, lol! For instance, when people see different enzymes used TO MAKE CHEESE on their cheese labels, they freak out.
One bad thing is that the calorie counts only have to be within a 20% tolerance. That is why you can see something that says a half serving is 300 calories, but the full serving is 550 calories. They are allowed to tell you that 300 x 2 = 550, not 600.
You're good dad who's always excited for his children I get it❤
Ingredient lists on food in the US are listed from highest percentage to lowest percentage. Andewy is a spicy sausage used in Cajon / Creole cooking in Louisiana.
andouille
@@botduncan6979 yea. I knew I misspelled it. 😄
@@ashrak12at least it was a correction without attitude. Too much of that now.
In Texas & Other Southern States we love Sweet Tea
Yes Peach Tea is great too
The amount of sugar in sweet tea is mind boggling 🤣
Kool aid gotta have the same amount of sugar as sweet tea to be any type of good
When I was a kid we’d bite the ends off the twizzlers and we’d use as a straw to drink with.
made in the mid 1880s, candy corn became popular because they have 3 flavors together that were known at the time to be luxurious. most people are unaware of the flavors of candy corn, which are vanilla, butter, and honey
Possibly the worst candy ever is candy corn!
@@rg20322 Try jelly bellies version of candy corn, it has half the sugar and no waxy coating
Fantastic family cat you and Jono should be proud
Jono if you're gonna be visiting america your mind is gonna be blown with how many things say "artificially flavored" when you come here 😅😂😂
Interesting facts about candy corn. it was invented in the 1880s by the Wunderle Candy Company and was originally called Chicken Feed. Today, Brach's Confections makes 85% of candycorn producing 7 billion pieces a year. Today the come in many shapes, flavors and colors but the original is still the best selling. It is a traditional Halloween candy that many love and many hate.
Candy corn. Loved that since i was a kid
The best way to eat candy corn is open package and throw directly into trash.
Leia’s a teenager and it’s a normal thing. I know we all remember being self conscious about it tho boy or girl.
Candy corn they have different flavors like Carmel apple
Andouille smoked pork sausage is used in Cajun cooking from Southern Louisiana, although the sausage was invented in France.
I hope you guys are having a great week!
Lol well. Candy down isn't for everyone😂😂
Andouille is a sausage. Usually has a little spice to it.
In the U.S. the ingredients are listed in order of most to least. To my knowledge there isn't a way to denote things that have an equal amount, but mostly if it's listed after another ingredient then it has less of it. Also, normally anything that is 2% or less of the product will be noted at the end if the list after a statement saying such.
If the amount is identical it is alphabetical.
@@liamengram6326 I was wondering if that was the case, thank you.
This video has funny timing. I live In Massachusetts and was just in Lincoln, New Hampshire when this video dropped, which is right next to North Conway. Very touristy at this time of year, but oh so beautiful.
Love your family good luck on renovation
Ok that's a cool set of gifts
I hope you guys really enjoy your new kitchen. I love your videos!! Keep it up ❤️
Sour patch watermelon version is my favorite ones
FL OZ is fluid ounces
Candy Cigarettes was a thing when I Was A Kid, I'm 52yrs Now 😅😅
I'm 43 now and still remember them. I remember those snakes that you light up and they grow lol. Remember when Warheads were extremely sour? So sour that it was borderline torture.
Candy cigarettes were a thing when I was younger and I will be turning 63 in October
Me too. The ones I had weren't very good. As best I remember they were made out of the same stuff as candy hearts.
@@marydavis5234same only November birthday here. 😂
Candy Cigarettes were still prevalent when I was a child. I'm 37yrs.
It’s so funny cuz candy corn is definitely a ‘love it or hate it’s candy and even for you guys,.. dad loved it and kids hated it 😂😂
White beans and ham is great 😊
The Red Vines(Red Licorice) Are Pretty Good
I've been to North Conway New Hampshire, beautiful place. It was bit touristy back in 1989, can't imagine what it must be like now. Once out of the downtown, it was a typical New Enlgland town. I love cookbooks, I am going to have to do a search of the one you received. Those were nice gifts.
Really enjoyed the video I was surprised you liked our chocolate most Europeans don't like it. There's a reason why ours is different due to WW2. Glad you liked the twizzlers one of our families favorites.
andouille is a sausage used in Louisiana it is fairly spicy....cajun food is generally spicy. Louisiana is known for its food, particularly seafood, and has several styles due to a myriad of influences, including french, creole and african.
Great family
New Orleans has the best food in the world. I lived there while I was in the Coast Guard. I have never had better food in my life. Andouille is a spicy garlic and pork sausage.
Candy corn with dry roasted peanuts tastes very similar to a Payday candy bar.
Howdy From Texas
Companies here in America are REQUIRED to label their products as artificially flavored even if a combination of artificial and natural flavors are used. My nephews would always have me buy them Twizzlers and a soda when I took them to the movies. They would use the Twizzlers as a straw to drink their soda and they would get the flavor of the Twizzler and the soda at the same time. I'm with Garin. I can't stand candy corn. Andouille is a Cajun seasoned sausage and is so good it should be illegal.
Jonah, every flavor known to man is basically a unique combination of chemicals. An artificial flavor is merely a mixture of chemicals that mimic natural flavors.
Everything is artificially flavored, but what do the British know about flavor? Thiamine is a form of vitamin B.
Candy corn is 🤮🤢
I’m glad you guys tried some of our snacks I would love to send you some ❤
American food labels list ingredients by portions first. So the first ingredient is the largest portion followed by the next largest, ect...
Garin for your information back in the early 60s the Blackhawks were located in Dallas and played at the Texas State Fair grounds ice arena and then moved up to Chicago. Then in the early 90s we got a new team the Stars here in Dallas. ❤⭐:0
Oh jono, on American food products, the ingredient that is the most, is always listed first, then down to the lowest amount as last. Doesn’t help for percentage but the most has to be listed first. So with kangaroo and gator being listed first, means it is the most meat in the jerky. That same thing applies to our drinks.
America: The land of artificially flavored everything!
Fl. OZ is short for Fluid Ounces
I really like candy corn.
For 1lb (~450g) of pretty good jerky in the U.S. it is still around $25 or (~£22) You have to realize that the cuts lose a ton of weight during the dehydration process. Each pound of jerky takes around 4lbs of meat.
Andouille is a Cajun pork smoked sausage
Takis come in several varieties the original is a type of corn chip.
Maybe we should buy their soap if it tastes like candy corn.
We in THE USA ARE PROUD of our artificially flavored, to be honest, that's actually some of the best flavored things you could eat, I don't know what she got, but I'm going to tell you right now. There's a reason why we all love these junk boots. God knows what is in it, but it tastes good, but not all of them obviously, but Hey, don't knock it till you try it. As an american would say
One of my favorites is candy corn mixed with peanuts.
Ewwwua
@@ptrekboxbreaks5198 🤣🤣 don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
That’s the only way I will eat candy corn. I can’t stand it by itself
Andouille is a mildly spicy cajun style sausage
Make sure you seal up the twirlers good or they will be hard as a rock. 😂
Floz means Fluid ounces
Twizzlers are like eating wax you need to try Red Vines those are the proper licorice.
I love you guys!!! Please go to Chicago when you visit the US. By the by, if stuff isn’t natural in the states it has to say it’s artificial.
Hey, I'm from New Hampshire and currently live in Czech Republic! I definitely miss some of our foods and candy... Completely jealous. Been to Zeb's hundreds of times. Definitely a tourist place, but everything is quality! You can also buy shark, turtle, rabbit, elk, python, duck, boar, goode, yak, and ostroch jerkey, along with a bunch of other meat at House of Jerky in North Conway.
I also have a signed photo of Patrik Eliáš I might be able to send to you guys, if possible. No promises, though!
Leia, you should get some alligator tail in Slovakia. Get some chipotle BBQ sauce to put on it. You won't regret it...
You guys are so funny and I’m with you I like candy corn ..
Candy Corn is pretty much 100% sugar, well corn syrup but that's another kind of sugar.
I'm not Mexican but you should try the Mexican spicy mango candy. It's a Mexican candy, but I believe it's made in Texas. I remember back in 2000, I had a friend bring me some from California. Haven't had some in over a decade.
I have a love-hate relationship with candy corn
Just a FYI Kool-Aid does not have any sugar in it so you have to add your own most people just pour the amount of sugar that they want in it or you could follow the instructions on back of the packet.
I always say I make the best Kool-Aid. I love mixing lemonade with just about any flavor. Sometimes I even add real lemon juice in it just to give it that lemonade, flavor taste, and then a little sugar. I don’t like my Kool-Aid too sweet but I don’t like it too bitter so I just make it just right to my liking. Lol.😊
Drink milk to get rid of spice in the mouth😂😂
I heard it takes 5lbs or meat to make one pound of jerky. This is why it's so expensive.
Andouille is a type of sausage.
The ingredients are listed from the most to the least amount. Per US law.
The Ordinary is a great company with quality affordable skin care. i have several of their products. and rose hip seed oil is really good for your skin.
I love. Twizzlers. They're not openly sweet. I love all the brands of twislers. William s
Andouille is a Cajun sausage
Hi
Candy corn is top tier
The US requires all food products that contain artificial flavors or ingredients to say that on the label. Tea doesn’t grow in the US New England states like Vermont, New Hampshire, etc so they have to buy tea from countries that do grow it.
Graham Family: One thing to note about US foods if you get things from here is the 'ingredients' are required to be listed in order of quantity*. That means if there is say 3 ingredients like natural peanut butter it will list: Peanuts, Oil, salt OR just Peanuts, salt
So if you want to know what something is made of most, read the first ingredient. It will usually list preservatives and colors (dyes) last as they are a minimal amount. US eats a lot of junk but we KNOW what our junk foods are, LoL.
(*ingredients must meet a certain % of content or product MUST be labeled 'Artificial'.
Just about everything in America says Artificially flavored lol. I think that's why there's so many health issues!
UK and some European countries have lots of products that are artificially flavored, but they just use completely differently labelling/terminology that isn't as obvious.
Everything is artificially flavored in the US and they are legally required to disclose that. Candy corn is disgusting. Twizzlers are ok at best. Sour patch kids are awesome, even though they are pure junk food. ALL ingredients in US foods are listed from most to least. If kangaroo is the first ingredient then there is more kangaroo than anything else in the jerky. This is also a legal requirement in the USA.
I’m not a big fan of Twizzlers I could take them or leave them, but I’m definitely with the kids on the candy corn. Vile stuff.
Fl Oz is Fluid Ounce
We have artificial flavor for most things but they are banned in the EU
Ceylon (say-lon) is the old British colonial name for Sri Lanka.
Eat candy corn with a handful of peanuts
The antidote to hot peppers is dairy fat -- milk, cheese, ice cream etc. Water doesn't do any good.
I'm with you, I also can't stand those candy corns
You are required by law to put artificially flavored on something if it has any artificial ingredients
She's running to get water!
coffee and tea may taste different but the same caffeine unless it said caffeine free.
Leia is a girly girly teenager for sure.
You have to add sugar to koolaid!
Fl. Oz. = Fluid Ounces
As someone who grew up in Chicago, you guys should check out the AAA hockey team. The Chicago Wolves are more popular in Chicago than the Blackhawks. The Blackhawks are awesome don't get me wrong, but the Wolves play real rough and tumble hockey.. they beat up the other team, to win...😂😂
