How are these not destroying swamps? And the noise is so loud that your gonna be stuck operating it in remote swamps. Its a good thing 99% of people cant afford one or our swamps would become pits of mud void of much life other than slime
This why I love the people here in southern Louisiana. They took a problem like getting around in a bayou and engineered a system that is superior to any other product. That don't mean I'm bashing the established mud motor companies, I'm saying now there is a new and amazing machine that'll give us all more options. Ok, a really badass kicking butt option. I saw that sequence when he was hauling butt down between the basin bridge but really couldn't see it from the roadway real good, but the beautiful sound of that engine was ear candy and then seeing the rooster tail..dang. I'll take one of each.
th-cam.com/video/hIIvx09LznA/w-d-xo.html I doubt these guys are up to anything cute. That video is close up enough to explain everything. I'm impressed with the package. It looks like I could use the shark to convert boats from jet pump drive, with minimal effort. I can't say whether they can produce these things in masses to meet your multi million dollar demands, but they seem to be doing well. I think there would be sizable market for converting popular Berkly and Jacuzzi drives for performance and utility river boats.
It's like an articulating surface piercing drive system except they replaced the surface piercing propeller with a giant stainless steel immersion blender and anti-roostertail shroud. Nice.
How shallow will these run ? I fish a lot of rivers with some real skinny water some times where a jet is nice but I also fish rivers with a lot of veg
I work security on the river and have been trying to convince the crew boat launches to take me out on the metal sharks. Definitely the nicest boats out there.
I see that there is a prop guard, but what actually absorbs the hit if you run over a log? Straight through the locked out trim strut into the transom?
We took several high-speed passes over a large semi-submerged log in this video with barely a bump. You'll see the footage at about 1:17. We then switch to a GoPro shot of the drive at the moment of impact and it's barely noticeable (approx 1:26). There's no prop guard. The patented Rebound System, which consists of actuators inside and outside of the vessel, allows the Swamp Shark drive to smoothly and automatically adapt to conditions. When the drive impacts a solid object, such as a log, stump, or other submerged hazard, it swiftly and smoothly “kicks up” so that the propeller will not be impacted (the leading edge of the skeg features a special radius designed to facilitate quick and smooth passage over any objects it encounters). The Rebound System then exerts reverse pressure to instantaneously return the drive to its normal trim position as soon as the object has been cleared. A schematic of the drive and other information can be found here: www.metalsharkboats.com/swamp-shark/
You produce some awesome boats, but I've never seen one in reverse. I know there's no way it can reverse through the stuff it goes forward through, but does it have reverse at all?
Looks amazing, but still dont understand how its any different than any surface drive other than the isolated cooling system. Is the prop made out of Adamantium.....?
One key difference is the patented hydraulic / electric rebound system, which consists of actuators inside and outside of the vessel, that allows the drive to smoothly and automatically adapt to conditions. When the drive impacts a solid object, such as a log, stump, or other submerged hazard, it swiftly and smoothly “kicks up” so that the propeller will not be impacted (the leading edge of the skeg has been radiused to facilitate quick and smooth passage over any objects it encounters). The rebound system then exerts reverse pressure to instantaneously return the drive to its normal trim position as soon as the object has been cleared. In the video, at around 1:15 and again at 1:20, we make a couple of high-speed passes over a floating log. Then, you see the same pass as captured from a Go-Pro camera mounted on the transom. You can see the drive pop up briefly. On a conventional surface drive, this kind of impact would likely shear a blade off the prop. We'll post some more videos that show this a bit better. The drive can easily absorb and react to impacts that would cause catastrophic damage to conventional systems.
@@MetalSharkBoats Well, you explained that a bit more technical than I did on your behalf to another viewer above. lol But I think I got the same principal function explained. You have taken the concept of an off road suspension system and applied it to a marine prop drive with skids or "skeg". Which is brilliant.
give this a week and it will be Viral! Me and all my bowfishing buddies are going nuts over this footage! just wait till the duck hunters get a hold of it! From a guy who has built a few boats and now a inboard jet (on my channel) I really hope these drive systems will be available for purchase soon. your website isnt working so hot right now. how much HP does the system require and how much can it take? my mind is at both ends of the spectrum already from a tiny turbo motor buzzing in a 1460 to a full on fire breathing big block in a 2484. look forward to more updates!
Can you point me to a "hearty" ecosystem? Every damn time you envirowenies complain it is always about a "fragile" ecosystem... and it seems to me that every ecosystem in existence is "fragile" to you people (yes, I said "you people") so that you can cry about it.
@@jonahraiford4661 I am curious who they are representing. They are all up and down the comments saying basically the same thing to anyone that questions its ability or has doubts about it. SMH. If they are so concerned about protecting this product from other viewers, why don't they get in touch with the maker of this video and pay them off to close comments? lol Sheesh.
Why don't you show some pictures of the bottom of the boat after beating it off trees like that ? That's probably why it's porposing because it's beat to shit. I can bounce my mud boat off trees too if I wanna dent the hull all in.
The Metal Shark 21 Riverine shown in this video will be on display this weekend at the Louisiana Sportsman Show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. A couple scratches, no dents! For more information on the show www.louisianasportsmanshow.com/
Imagine showing up to the local bass tournament with that.😂
Nobody in the world can beat this testing out souped up bush thrashing boat just imagine how many boats he has destroyed i love keep mashing on em bro
This Boat and the Drive Still survive to this Day , it Just GLIDES OVER EVERYTHING
Don't even need a truck n trailer, just drive it home! That things a beast!
made my day..

With m-134 minigun mounted, this thing is perfect.
How are these not destroying swamps? And the noise is so loud that your gonna be stuck operating it in remote swamps.
Its a good thing 99% of people cant afford one or our swamps would become pits of mud void of much life other than slime
This is the run from the cops boat 😂
Speed and sound is just perfect.
You should give this to those fellows on the history channel those gator hunters.Old Troy Landry would never come home if he had this. Lol

im nearly certain an airboat could do all of this and more.
Less music. More motor.
Very nice... but I didn't see it once reverse. The design, judging only by what I can see, doesn't appear to have means to back up.
These would be perfect for the military
Would really like to see the propulsion system up close in a future video.
Looks like maybe it's a encased prop?
No, not encased. I can't attach a photo here but you can see a good shot here: www.metalsharkboats.com/swamp-shark/

We would too.. We re not wasting millions on a slick video and cute marketing..

I need this so I can get to them big bream in early April this year!!!!
Good luck getting the ticks outta your ball fro!

Your mother is nicer
Aren't those trees protected @Louisianadepartmentofwildlifeandfisheries
@ldwf
That sounds absolutely perfect 👌
Well that's great... Another man made thing that tears up mother nature 💔

Uh that escalated pretty quick hahah. Two thumbs up brothers!
Need to put more videos out on metal shark
I like the first boat where can I find information on it would like a similar build
I’ve got a nice rock pipe I’d like to give this all-terrain vessel a try!
You produce some awesome boats, but I've never seen one in reverse. I know there's no way it can reverse through the stuff it goes forward through, but does it have reverse at all?
Thats a damn good question. 👍 Reverse is essential!
Perfect for my Jon boat
Yeah,LS swap. You're doing right. Next is turbo or supercharged.
เฟงลาว
Schweet!
Really, amazing performance! Would really like to see the engineering behind it.
Louisiana Boys getting it done!
This machine is sooooo sick!!!
Is it for citizens to use or just military/ government
That is a badass boat
This is what Shelby needs
Is the drive system basically a copy of a arneson surface drive?
Not at all an Arneson would Fall to Pieces , its a Surface Drive but there is much more too it
Классная лодка! Лайк!
Amazing technology and performance
What happens when you have to back up?!?
Where's your boat that backs up?
I take it you have NEVER been boating? lol
That thing is a beast sounds freaking awesome👍🏼🤩🫡❤️
Just wow..super engineering success.
В этом году тоже на таком же аппарате буду ездить, возможно ещё будет круче.

If James Bond ever needs a swamp boat…This is it!
God that sound ❤️
That looks so fun!
That looks great for the ecosystem.
That thing is crazy bad ass!! 🍻🍻
Now im just waiting for the jetski.. "hint-hint"
Im just imagining tons of spiders and ticks crawling on this boat after this video was made
Wow! So what's the price?
Is the 21 the littlest boat with the swamp shark system on it ? And how much is it?

Dustin Apple screw fishing, let's ride around
Coming to fragile ecosystem near you!

Hello! Please tell me that you use a drive of equal angular velocity to rotate the shaft?
Please tell me you have a boat of your own you can show us videos of ????
How much is equal to rate this boat I wanna buy one
👍I am impressed!!
Quanto custa uma dessa? Abraço desde o Brasil.
That's bad ass I want one.
boat video of the year. this thing is beyond badass. gotta have one of these shark boats.
Great video
I want one of them!!!!!!!!
WTF!???
I didnt want this video to end!!!
This is how you destroy the swamp.
I want one of these so bad...😮
Går den i asfalt också?
Awesome
I can see the military application.
This boat is fit to the agusan march in the philippines where LOLONG🐊 is captured.
can it run through lousiana mud flat? probaly not
Oh yeah it can. It'll eat up the North shore saltwater marshes too.
Show us your pictures of your boat that can... and please at this very moment like right now.... Show us your boat that can do it..... NOW!!!!
tgwoolshire it’s called gator tail you fucking bum. poor people lmao

Bro i have a v6 inboard thats can easily go through our mud flats. Im from la by the way
Chopping alligators left and right. Nice...
Alligators disperse as soon as they hear anything this loud numb nuts.
Us humans are already destroying the planet a couple hundred of these running around the sensitive ecosystems will really benefit us👍👍👍👍👍
How money for one unit metal jet boat
Many trees were harmed in the making of this video.
Would like to see them make a complete stop in the marsh and then take off
That's easy for these
Swamp people are in line for those. I want one. Go anywhere
Can't wait to ride one across North Korea when we finally kicks things off over there 👍
Stupidest comment goes to you on so many levels
Awesome!
e-boat. how far can you go to get out and survive!
How many snakes and spiders fell in the boat by going through those trees?
I’ve been looking for something to get me across all those pesky oyster bars down at the coast. No more driving around them!
Saya PAUL HENDRIK dari Papua Province of INDONESIA dan minta informasi bagaimana saya membeli boat shark ini thank you
Makes me wish I'd been born and raised in south Louisiana.

They put us right up front! Come see us.
How thick is the aluminum? i was thinking 1/4” needed
You're an absolute idiot you know that you really are.... Show us pictures of your boat dumb shit
How much $?
Fiberglass fabricators here. We did your RHIB boats.
When the first bale lands and i flip it, this will be the first thing in the yard
How much is that bro?im frm philippines
See comment and reply above.
How money ?
That bad boy sounds mean!!
Красиво ходит буду делать себе такой же.
долго собираешся
I would hope a v8 car engine and a titanium propeller could rip through vegetation
Would you mind please showing us your version ?
Oh my God I want to come work for you guys ...
Now im no tree hugger but uuuuuuh isn't this destroying natural habitat/environment?
Exactly what I was going to say
Yeah it's obvious.... You 2 are both tree huggers..... Panty boys
Sponsored by flex tape.
Last name Eastwood wannabe
Shelby needs one of them
Interesting you should mention that. When I seen it being powered by a Vette engine, I cringed at all the downtime for repairs.
True
Shelby would put a hole in that in a day
love this boat
Damn good.:-)
ha.. how much with that aronson drive! where is murcury. !!! ????
Sold! Now reverse engineer a unit for a rotomolded Kayak! Or something like that Mokia thing that breaks every time it goes out!
