its a very good analogy, hackers are pretty much just maggots, to say they're the worst Dark Souls players would be a kindness they are literally nothing more than shit.
Dark Souls Jef Once there was a warrior, eager to take on the world he sought out to battle the evils of this world. On his journey though he was overcome by the burden of game mechanics he could not overcome nor understand, in his desperation he read through a seemingly endless library some call the web. In this library he found ways to work around those mechanics that frustrated him so deerly but in the end it he lost his own ways he could not care for anything, forgot his past and became a hollow. Legend has it he still roams the floor of that pit to this very day without knowing where it may take him or if he may ever get out.
KingCorn101 "Reasoning," if you call it that, varies from cheater to cheater. There are some who only want to get through the game with 0% difficulty. Others want nothing more than to ruin your day. Then theres the kind like FunTimeisOver, who want attention so badly, he breaks out his worst Solid Snake voice and spouts profanity reminiscent of what one would find on 4chan. Really, you must look at the individual, and his method; only then will you discover a faint grasp of "motivation" for cheating.
Darkwireman Recent studies have shown that these scum do indeed breed, but their partners are proven to be sterile. I believe the name of that particular species was called "The right hand."
i dont think hacking is bad untill u r not playing online. i mean of u r so bad at dark souls that u just get obliterated every minute, but u really want to see what game prepared for you ok go ahead and hack the shit out of ur game, but offline, dont ruin someone's else expierence. btw there is a fun thing with ds 2 i spotted, if u have unlimited health, some random enemies has it too, so once in like 10-15 enemies u have a ”fair fight” lol. yeah i used hacks for my 1st playthrough in ds1 and ds2 (offline of course) to explore the game and after that ive never toched that thing, its actually much more exiting to git gud than just run through the game like a god killing everything in 1 hit, but u kno, i can understand that dude, he is too scared to fight even with hacs cz that game really is painfull if u r used to play ez games, u really need to rewire ur brain for such games
Sadly it doesnt if the invader takes to long to kill the host there waiting que for invasion time increases and stacks if the host hasn’t died in 15 minutes per invasion
What I don't get about hackers is that they're usually running around with high strength weapons and really heavy armour... But they can't be hurt, so why do they bother? Christ, if I was a hacker I'd be destroying people with the Ladle and wearing nothing but Rosabeth's dress (as a male)
What I don't get about people playing video games is that they always have to get as META as humanly possible to the edge of gamebreaking. For example, Painting guardian swords, or what their name is in DaS2. Or spamming reasonant soul, of course combined with a reasonant katana. Hackers are shit but when you can't have fun in videogames anymore without having to win instead of having fun, you're not much better.
Since he didn't transport back to the bonfire in the video, I hope he doesn't know about the Darksign. Nothing makes me happier than him _actually_ being stuck and end up deleting his character. Ban this kid pls
The day a hacker conquered gravity, was the day he also suffered humiliation. Good job Obobobo, and it's very considerate of you to drop him a present, even though it was screaming down below
going overboard for a detail are we? Can you lend me some of that salt for my spaghetti? you're literally implying he doesn't have anything at all to duplicate and drop. (not even the sword, not even the armor)
>what is swap dropped item >what is common sense >doubling down on the salt you're the one going fully mental cause you're taking the "add" too literally. you tried way to hard to spot a noob, and you failed. deal with it. P.S. no one cares
Let's not pay attention to the fact that Oro just totally fucked over a hacker in hilarious fashion. Instead, let's pay attention to Oro's weapons and magic and whine about how much of a scrub he is for legitimately using the tools that the game provides for him. I know I, for one, prefer when my opponents use weapons and magic that I deem to be "fair", and by "fair" I mean something that I have never lost to. Once I lose to something, though... hoo boy, you better believe that shit is "OP" and "broken". Haha, amirite, guys?
I fight for my friends. "I hate infusion, buffing, hexes, miracles, sorceries, all dex weapons, (especially katanas and curved swords.) I hate parries and backstabs, I hate greatswords, shields, armour, I hate people who level up. I hate gower's ring, cloranthy ring, simpleton's ring, all rings. Why can't everyone just accept sl1 naked broken ladle meta goddamnit" /s
There acutally IS a way to kill even one of those - death areas Water and bottomless pits will just kill a hacker and not gnaw at his infinite HP. Of course those are even harder to come by than gravity^^
Flow That hole is different, it actually doers use fall damage. Only water & "abyss" kill you with a kill command, instead of hitting you for infinite ammount of damage.
Battlecop no im actually that crazy that i jumped one of the lizards and i survived it xD ok i was too lazy to walk down like normal people would do :D edit: and i didnt hacked that just cat ring xD
I don't get why people who don't like oroboro watch his videos, it makes no sense, why come give views to a guy you know uses overpowered shit and makes you mad. I watch him because I personally find him hilarious, but that's just me.
Juan Navia well, if you dont want him to see him use "overpowered" builds then there are other weapon he uses like great harmmers or ultra greatswords that I think he really show his skills. I think Oro is fun to watch against Hackers because Oro doesnt even get mad against hacker, he is more like, "omg another hacker, why me." If you think builds are OP, dont complain about him using, complain to Fromsoft for making stunlock possible.
If I recall correctly, fall damage in Dark Souls 2 was changed to straight up damage, and is not calculated as a percentage of max health anymore. This would explain why they can survive fall damage now. Gonna have to drop them into bottomless pits now...
Actually the way to kill hackers is to push them into a bottomless pit - good example would be the dragon aerie. However, considering that some people simply don't want to get invaded and/or hate invaders in general for their own reasons (f.e. wanting just PvE and co-op without disruptions) I could agree to some extend the reason to want to remain invulnerable to invaders and defeat them by any means necessary. The problem is with invader hackers, rather than these guys ;)
+Gaming 4 You i think he meant fall off the map as in literally go below the games map where you fall infinitely. well not infinitely i think, in dark souls 1 if you managed to clip through a wall or floor you only fell for like 20 seconds before the game killed you.
After extensive trying with Flying Feline Boots, Moon Butterfly Wings, Silvercat Ring, Fall Control, Life Ring +3, Third Dragon Ring, as well as Vigor at level 99 and aiming for the shortest drop possible, I have determined that no, it is not possible by any in-game, non-cheating means to survive that drop. At least, not to my knowledge. I have found that it is not a case of distance, as if you fall from the same starting height, in this case the elevator platform, into the salamander section, you take next to no damage, however if you fall from the elevator platform to the other side, which is only about a meter deeper than the salamander area, you take max damage and die instantly. The best bet possible for surviving that fall would be to go to The Place Unbeknownst bonfire, walk over to the chest that contained the Ring of Restoration and look towards the inescapable pit. If you observe, you should notice that there is an incline at the corners of the pit, where the elevator shaft is. If you jump properly, you should be able to manage landing on that incline, giving you the shortest drop possible. I have yet to reach the entire length of that incline, getting as far down it as possible, if it even is possible. However, after about fifty tries, I have determined that no, it is not possible to survive that drop without using some form of hack or glitch unknown to me. If you try this and find anything interesting, please do reply. I feel this is one of the most fascinating challenges in the game.
Finn Underwood drops take off a percentage of your hp. the only thing that helps you survive them is the ring. Maxing out your hp won't help you survive a fall at all.
Interestingly enough, this is not always the case. If you trust this wiki article, darksouls2.wikidot.com/falling-damage , then if a player falls a height that "would cause do more than about 1600 damage (with no load) will be fatal regardless of how much damage reduction you have", so true, max health does nothing there. However, it does affect your survivability with lesser falls in the game. This instadeath theory explains why the pit of death here, which I shall henceforth call the 'Jar', appears to be survivable, but really isn't. One can test to see how far one can fall if they drop a Prism Stone off the edge of the drop and see if or when it shatters. If it does, then you should take precaution before jumping down into that dark abyss. Also, about your statement on the Silvercat Ring, I have done some tests, and I have found that, out of all the Fall-Reducing Items, Fall Control is by far the most effective. However the Red Lion Warrior Cape, the Lion Warrior set, the Flying Feline Boots, and the Moonlight Butterfly set all reduce falling damage, though the Butterfly set only a small amount when compared to the others. And, as stated, the Silvercat Ring is one of the items that reduce fall damage significantly. So, there you have it. Again, that Wiki article has so far lived up to its credibility, and I do trust it, at least from the technical standpoints. I'd strongly encourage giving it a read if you'd like.
You should go write a book on a whole lot of nerdy nuances you've explored. Or at least a short google doc. I could read about this kind of shit for dayyys on end.
I'm terrible at dark souls. By the time i get an effigy, it's gone 2 minutes later and I can never win any PvP fights. Hacking is NOT the way to go, I'm bad at the game but seriously, you still get wrecked with your "amazing" infinite health.
Don't use Effigies as soon as you get them, hoard them for boss fights. Level your adaptability to 25 or so, and then you will have a much easier time dodging things.
although i agree with JustLetMeComment80. adaptability is good for dodging. but dodging itself is very difficult requiring expertise it the enemy's move set. the best consistent advice that can be given is to use a good shield learn the bosses moves as best you can and then wait for an opening. it's how i got through dark souls 1 years ago. just beware of pancake moves.
Honestly, I think dodging can be learned in an hour or two. Having a low enough equip load to get the roll range helps a lot. Plus, most bosses use smash moves, so it's better to learn to dodge from the get-go instead of relying on the shield and then getting destroyed by things like Smelter, Vendrick, Velstadt, and Iron King
JustLetMeComment80 Although one could say that Dark Souls II is not the easiest game in the series to learn to dodge, since they reduced the invincibility frames to it. Not that I'd really know as I'm still bad at those games, but at least I can pull a dodge occasionally on the others, while for DSII I'll have to devote a lot of 'git gud' time to it before I can do the same.
Dark souls 1 gravity was more like if you fell beyond a certain height when you landed you triggered instant death. Now it seems like it just adds up and up how much damage you will take based on distance, without the death trigger, and since this guy can't take damage...
That and now it takes into account the less fall damage stuff. Although if he fell off a ledge where there was no bottom, instant death would still be triggered but I don't think there's a place like that in the forest.
limit talked about it in his video on the max encumbrance in ds2, it's just damage that exponentially increases with distance fallen, the only kill triggers are the bottomless pits.
i don't get why hackers heal themselves, are they actually trying to trick you? like they don't know that we SEE their fucking health not go down so they think "if i occasionally heal he might not know that im FUCKING INVINCIBLE."
+James Loucks I'm not sure about Dark souls 2 but in Dark souls 1 I modded a little myself and your health actually does go down no matter how high you put it (Unless the health bar was gray) but it was way over what was allowed so it never showed up.
Now lets hope he: 1) Doesn't have any homeward bones on him. 2) Haven't read the Feather's description to know it's pretty much an unlimited homeward bone 3) Doesn't know about Darksign So that his character will be stuck there forever.
Okay, I have to point out my biggest pet peeve with this game: they changed the fall damage mechanic. In DaS1 falling was based on percentages. Falling a certain distance caused a certain % of your max health to be lost. So even if you are cursed and have the dusk ring on you still survive falls that wouldn't kill you if you fell from them unhollowed. But in DaS2, fall damage is a set amount. So even if you have the cats ring, you will be killed by the fall onto the first plank of the Majula pit unless you have put a set amount of points into HP (or leveled other stats since leveling always ups hp in some way). That's why the hacker survived those falls, because he had infinite HP, it didn't matter how much damage the fall did, it could never be enough.
t0pitsky It depends on the type of ganker. Obviously it's going to be a challenge fighting 2-3 by yourself, but the gankers that I have a problem with are the Havelyn monsters with GMB.
Well fuck. It's because they changed the way falling damage works I'm guessing. In dark souls 1 fall damage was a percentage of your maximum health based on how far you'd fallen, so if you fell too far then the game would automatically trigger your death. In dark souls 2 it's a flat amount of damage, so the more max health you have the longer a fall you can survive, and that must have changed things enough that hackers can make themselves immune to fall damage. So in short there's more hackers, with more game-breaking hacks, and from has outright stated that they're not going to do anything about them. Fucking lol.
The reason he survived falling is because those two falls aren't coded into the game as specifically fatal falls. If he were to fall off of a hole ,into the ocean, at the lost bastille, he would die.
He can't just spawn homeward bones in his inventory. He'd have to have them in there to begin with. Then he could duplicate them. Considering how long he was there he did not have any in his inventory and that character will remain stuck there because I don't think it spawns out. If it does though.... Well damn
OHMIGOD WE MUST FIND A CURE FOR THIS VIRUS OR WE MAY END UP GETTING.........ERASED....... OH THE HORROR MAY VELKA BE WITH US....MAY VELKA GIVE US THE STRENGHT TO USE DARK BEAD AND GREAT RESONANT SOUL TO PUNISH THOSE WHO SIN.......RAVELORDS AND DARKMOONS MUST UNITE....
Bardia Filizadeh not in the area he fell, it is mapped off - there are no items/enemies/pathing there. There is a death barrier around it to prevent this. The other half of the area you can drop too and live. It contains Fire Salamanders and numerous little goodies. The Iron Key found early in the Old Iron Keep opens the door to the Actual area.
Steven Schmitz Fall Control only protects you from damage from what you would normally survive, if you were to survive, without fall control all you would have to do is estus.

There are some comments here defending a hacked character, because Oroboro is using things that are in the game. That's unbelievable. Yes Katanas are good, Great Resonant Soul is good, but they're in the game. The logic here is that someone should feel ashamed for finding things in the game that are really good...to the point a person illegally hacking their characters stats are even the morally superior here? Should the people who use higher tier characters in fighting games feel ashamed for using said characters in a tournament as opposed to forcing themselves to use things they're less comfortable with because they're more "fair"? Look if you find something overpowered and are frustrated by it, that's fine, but if your blatant chip on your shoulder is so great that you're going to defend a hacked character over things that are in the game then that's just going way too far. People are going to use and be drawn to things that work, whether you like it or not (and come on people, try the Transgressors Shield for christs sake.), and while its natural to be salty about that...don't become such a crybaby that you're going to go as far as this to justify your crying.
why did he even THINK he could bait you out into even grounds? i mean he propably thought "yeah let's fight fair and square", but any fight with him wouldn't be fair...
If there is *one* thin that's more pathetic than a chuggin' invader that refuses to fight the host they invaded 1v1.. Then I guess it has to be hacking hosts who are scared of their invaders. I mean, how bad do you have to be to have infinite Stamina and Health, and *still* be at an disadvantage? There's not "Gittin' Gud" and then there's a level of skill so poor that you can't even manage to put up a fight while vigorously cheating. Seriously, there is *nothing* that can be done to help a guy like this. Hopefully he spent his time in the Pit of Idiocy practicing his combat.
I don't think invaders can chug in this game, but in DS3, the most pathetic thing, is when the invader gets outclassed, then goes to hide amongst the enemies in a 1v1 scenario. I always keep seeds around for those special snowflakes.
+Egyptian Overlord Are you talking about summoned reds or invading reds? There are no rules in an invasion, on either side. Dueling is what you mean to say.
Nikto No-Life No. I mean invasions. Why do you invade if you're going to run away and not fight? You're right, there are no rules in an invasion, which is why I use seeds. I'm not complaining because it's annoying, they'll die to the enemies if they try that shit against me, I just don't understand why people invade to do that.
+Egyptian Overlord They do what they have to in order to win. If they're not good at combat, they'll use whatever other advantages they can get. That's how invading works.
i love how at the beginning you were all like "WHAT, NO WAY" and im like no shit he survived, you need a bottomless pit to kill an infinite health player not just a high place
Usually hackers just increase their health by insane amounts but, in this case the guy had infinite health. A dropen from a big fall like that will kill most health hackers as it depletes all health. In this case the hackers health regenerates to maximum, preventing a height death.
I'm kinda confused that Oro didn't know that just falling damage will not kill a hacker...that's not really new. Every time I saw a hacker die in some video, it was always a bottomless pit of some kind, not just a drop from 20 feet.
Raikao DkS1 had a way of making falls do percentile health damage and if you fell long enough the fall would just plain kill you (which in all honesty was the best route in the game to go with) it does seem that fall damage was changed but in all honesty for the worst.
Vinyltavia I think they kinda had to change it, otherwise items like the cat ring would have given you x% less falling damage, which would have made you immune to dieing from falling. So that's why they made it flat damage probably. The hole in Majula you kinda have to drop down into, so it's also part of the game very much. I don't think keeping a mechanic, so that hackers have it harder is a good idea either. You can't design something around the 1% who try to circumvent the system imho.
Raikao They really could have kept it the same way because in DS1 if it was a lethal fall it would kill you regardless of whether you had the falling sorcery.
sam2795 Erm no, as I stated in my post, they have the whole "drop down the hole in majula" thing going on. Unless they changed it to something like the Four Kings drop in DrkS1, where you need a specific item so a certain drop doesn't kill you. That is a different mechanic to falling damage though. It's just one of those things, where they did something a specific way cause of an integral mechanic / piece of content. They could have used a different solution maybe, but all I'm saying is that that's probably the reason it ended up this way. In the end it doesn't even....errrrr.....they could have just tried to combat hackers instead, but that would require client - server, always on DRM kinda stuff, which screws over the single player / no internet experience. Personally I prefer the multiplayer aspects as they are, having to deal with 1 scrub hacker every once in a while doesn't ruin it for me. It's a delicate trade off for sure.
***** I guess dual wielding avelyn's and backstep parrying are perfectly fine since they are "in the game." My point was the gear and setup you were using is generally associated with people of little skill that rely on powerful items to fill the gap (i.e. dark santier's spear and stuff). I honestly don't care, just surprised...
Cinnahawk well, it's oroboro so you shouldn't be surprised really. His main form of battle in dks1 was spamming r1 with a buffed falchion. That being said; I find this particular set up unoriginal and disgusting, but hey that's just my opinion and it's a goddamn game so do what the fuck ever you want
Its the sandbox where all the casuals go to play. We should all just pick up our things and head back to Dark Souls. I hate to see what hey might add in the dlc, Uber Dark Magic O.o
Resonant katanas, GRS, Batfog, roll parry monastery, gimped physical, broken hitboxes, soul memory, crit damage 2-3x as high as a ??WeaponName?? backstab from Dark Souls, gravity immune hackers and so on, that's what this game is. Can Dark Shit 2 RIP in peace now?
DeltaShadow "tIs the sandbox where all the casuals go to play.We should all just pick up our things and head back to Dark Souls." Because Dark Souls 1's PvP, with all of its own well-documented imbalances and problems and glitches, is a true example of competitive multiplayer for hardcore gamers, like EVO-tier Street Fighter 4. Seriously, get the fuck off your delusions. If you want competitive gameplay, play an actual competitive game. I have no disagreement with you that Dark Souls 2 is incredibly broken right now. But don't bullshit yourself with talk that Dark Souls 1 is any more competitive.
Gray Au Le epik git gud maymay xdxd Spew some more overused memes, shit smear. You didn't counter a single one of my arguments and instead spewed "git gud xdxd" and then proceeded to agreed with half of my points and lie through your shit-stained teeth on the others. No shitter, hitboxes are utterly broken in this game and everyone can plainly see it and has been covered by someone on youtube in a video and mentioned in the comments by at least half of the other popular ones and mentioned hugely on forums, funny how it wasn't nearly as much of an issue or as widely problematic in Dark Souls. Hacker was gravity immune as long as there was floor beneath him, those falls were unsurvivable and since fall damage in Dark Souls was percent based it would have killed them. "monastery is broken b/c u can spam it but it will be nerf." Was that a goddamn sentence? So you can see the obvious flaw, but because it'll be nerfed eventually it's totally fine right? Yeah sure. GRS is easy to dodge, yeah so is every other fucking thing in the game, the good ole' ??WeaponName?? CGS from Dark Souls was easy to dodge and so was the patched ??WeaponName?? CGS emulator from this game, so must not have been OP if you could dodge it. Yeah physical is shit, killing 90% of the games vets favorite choice of build, great design choice From, force everyone to use magic or else be gimped out the ass. And I'll leave it at that, because you mindless fuckwit delusional fanboys will defend this fuck-up money whore of a game no matter how blatant the issues are that are staring everyone in the face while spewing "LE GIT GUD I HERD SUM1 ON UTOOB SAY DAT N' IMA MINDLES SHEEP XDXDXDXDXDXD" While being 3-shot stunlocked by a katana doing beyond ??WeaponName?? CGS damage. I swear this new fan-base is stupider than a bunch of brain-dead chimps. Can't wait to see the obvious "l3l git gud u made bro xdxddxdxd so epik trole" spewed out again.
Gray Au No, you claimed that hitboxes are *BETTER* and I quote "hitboxes are actually damn good for a DS game" and that's a blatant fucking irrefutable lie, hitboxes in Dark Souls are a fucking kiss from god compared to the shitboxes in this game. Everything is easy to dodge, doesn't excuse when something is doing a hugely disproportionate amount of damage with minimal to no risk involved. From seems to agree according to the latest patch note, oh no your crutches :^((( Looks like with them nerfing your backstep parry, GRS, buffs, and batfog, you'll be the one who has to "Git gud l3l xdxdxd" :^)))
Ben Shabtai you always have the darksign its not a consumable same with aged feather but hes probably too stupid to realize he can use the darksign lol
There are two absolutes in games. One is gravity: everything must fall. The second are the walls: nothing will get passed them, unless otherwise programmed to do so.
here is a good guestion: if we cant kill hackers in this game, and the only way to win is to black-crystal out, is this a real PvP? is this game still better than Dark Souls 1? and most important, how are we real players (not hacking scrubs) going to win if gravity does not work?
lunabrony1 that is true, DaS1 is super good and there is so mutch stupid changes made into this game. i know DaS1 was rushed out to release but this game was just ridiculous at day one.
Xehanord Do you not remember the flipping havels and the fog ring mess in dark souls 1 when it too first came out? This game is no different. Dark souls 1 even had scaling problems as well with its weapons.
Xehanord Let's just be glad that people can't just fish for back-stabs the way they did in Dark Souls 1. That's one good change they made to the PvP and PvE. I still enjoy the Dark Souls 1 PvP, but the Dark Souls 2 PvP isn't as broken (most of the time).
Hey Oro, Don't listen to those salty fucks that keep badmouthing everything you do (although I doubt you do anyway). You're an awesome guy and I love your videos. I can't believe that some people would rather take the side of a hacker than support you.
To kill hackers with 'gravity' you have to knock them off of something into a non-existent zone. The water near the Last Giant boss room would've worked, as well as the water in the ramparts section. C'mon OroboroTheNinja, I know you've played DkS1 enough that you should already know this. Anyway, after your time was up, he was obviously just able to homeward bone out of there.
Fucking console peasants. Why do you always have to bring this up? Hackers are on every platform, so don't give me any bullshit like "Hackers r only on pc so stfu pc Peasant ammirite" because that point is irrelevant. PC gaming is superior on all levels apart from one: casual gaming. I used to be a casual gamer, and it was easy to access. PC's require you to A) be a dip-shit and buy a horribly overpriced PC, or B) build a PC that completely outclasses a console for the same price. Apart from that, PC's are better: Better FPS, Graphics, Mods, Much more variety, free online, and cheaper. I wish people would stop praising Sony and Microsoft - they're money hungry tyrants who will nickle and dime you till there's not a penny left in you, Granted, Valve isn't perfect - Steam has it's flaws, but those are small annoyances rather than massive walls. There. I think my rant is done.
He's so cute! I love the way he runs around at the bottom near the end haha. Like a bug in a jar
If I would not have read your comment it would not have been as funny.
its a very good analogy, hackers are pretty much just maggots, to say they're the worst Dark Souls players would be a kindness they are literally nothing more than shit.
What's the lore behind this guy?

I am but not enough footage...
Did he change his name to havel at some point?
It would be hilarious if he was too stupid to figure out the darksign/homeward bone and just ditched the character.
I dunno what's more sad, the fact he is hacking, or the fact he is hacking and too scared to run at you with the dragon tooth.

This counts as a victory in my book.

Sadly it doesnt if the invader takes to long to kill the host there waiting que for invasion time increases and stacks if the host hasn’t died in 15 minutes per invasion
OH BOY OH BOY! I'm promise i'll take good care of him and remember to feed him! I promise!
Just make sure you never let him out :p

What I don't get about hackers is that they're usually running around with high strength weapons and really heavy armour... But they can't be hurt, so why do they bother?
Christ, if I was a hacker I'd be destroying people with the Ladle and wearing nothing but Rosabeth's dress (as a male)
Or the Desert Sorceress set as a fat male with an exaggerated smile.
your fucking profile logo.... is that the cd cover of "Vampires"? if it's so, you got gud
SunANdMoon Praisers Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption PC.
YOU GOT GUD! GG MAN, GG!
To the hackers - good riddance
To Oro's haters - Welcome to Dark Souls, people
Yeeeees
A scared hacker? He's probably the worst player in DS2
If you fall a certain distance you die no matter what, but it looks like he fell just short enough to survive.
Since he didn't transport back to the bonfire in the video, I hope he doesn't know about the Darksign. Nothing makes me happier than him _actually_ being stuck and end up deleting his character. Ban this kid pls
You can't transport back when you're invaded.
You can't use transport items while any type of phantom is in your world.
***** ***** Ah ok, never knew that. The crowd still wants him banned, however
Youngster Joey During the stream, he linked the hackers steamid, so hopefully valve actually gives a shit
***** Yeah, well, Oroboro did disconnect due to the time limit. So I hope he doesn't know about the Darksign.
And some people can still hear the hacker down there
The day a hacker conquered gravity, was the day he also suffered humiliation. Good job Obobobo, and it's very considerate of you to drop him a present, even though it was screaming down below
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever waaaaaas
To catch em is my real test, to report em is my cauuuuuuuuuuuuuse
He will travel across the land, trolling far and wiiide.

Ohhhh now you're my best friend, on a game I must defend!

We're missing quite a few lyrics....
otherwise, I think we could've had something truly beautiful.
You guys butchered the fuck out of the tempo...
It blows my mind that people can be this bad. Infinite health, ability to survive any fall onto ground, and he still manages to find a way to lose.
I really hope he had no Homeward Bones and forgot about the Darksign.
being a hacker he'll probably just add a homeword bone with CheatEngine
+Sultano Di Tourstomm you cant add nothing without having it in your inventory with Cheat Engine u dumb piece of deaf shit
going overboard for a detail are we? Can you lend me some of that salt for my spaghetti?
you're literally implying he doesn't have anything at all to duplicate and drop. (not even the sword, not even the armor)
>what is swap dropped item
>what is common sense
>doubling down on the salt
you're the one going fully mental cause you're taking the "add" too literally. you tried way to hard to spot a noob, and you failed. deal with it.
P.S. no one cares
Sultano Di Tourstomm Greentexting in TH-cam.... Hmm
I Can Smell The Neckbeard.
Das_Bass Throwing "Final Destination" in there made me laugh. Good one.
Only thing that is slightly broken is soul flash stunlock. That truly needs a nerf.

There acutally IS a way to kill even one of those - death areas
Water and bottomless pits will just kill a hacker and not gnaw at his infinite HP.
Of course those are even harder to come by than gravity^^
Flow
That hole is different, it actually doers use fall damage.
Only water & "abyss" kill you with a kill command, instead of hitting you for infinite ammount of damage.
Actually, the holes down there with the fire lizards will insta kill a hacker ^^ speaking from experience
Jonas Bukalo How about watching the video first?^^
***** No I think he meant the holes IN the lizard hole, I think they may be death zones.
Battlecop no im actually that crazy that i jumped one of the lizards and i survived it xD
ok i was too lazy to walk down like normal people would do :D
edit: and i didnt hacked that just cat ring xD
Out of all the weapons and armor to use while cheating why the arch drake robe with a drangon tooth?
Legend say he's still looking on google for a noclip-cheat
I don't get why people who don't like oroboro watch his videos, it makes no sense, why come give views to a guy you know uses overpowered shit and makes you mad. I watch him because I personally find him hilarious, but that's just me.
because anger often clouds judgement and overrides rational thought.
Deceiver9811 that, and people tend to be natural born idiots.
I don't know. Personally, I like Oroboro, but in this video I was glad the hacker persisted.
MarkusKrassius If cheeky scrublords don't want to be invaded, play in offline mode then. The good thing is, they get VAC Ban (on PC) now. :3
Squall Berserk :D That's to be expected. I'm surprised they didn't do that in DS1...
***** a few random ban is a small price for a thousand legit one.
Squall Berserk "f.e. wanting just PvE and co-op without disruptions" Tell me how that works in offline mode.
0:55 Btw every infinit health hacker is immune to a fall like that, they need to fall out of the map to die
+Gaming 4 You i think he meant fall off the map as in literally go below the games map where you fall infinitely. well not infinitely i think, in dark souls 1 if you managed to clip through a wall or floor you only fell for like 20 seconds before the game killed you.
+Gaming 4 You nope its not yoi can also get down there with silvercatring
No you can't you can only get down to the fire salamander, not down there where he fell.
Also, about your statement on the Silvercat Ring, I have done some tests, and I have found that, out of all the Fall-Reducing Items,
Fall Control is by far the most effective.
You should get the ring of life protection
Yooooou
We know who you are
limit talked about it in his video on the max encumbrance in ds2, it's just damage that exponentially increases with distance fallen, the only kill triggers are the bottomless pits.
Why didn't he just no clip or teleport back up?
i don't get why hackers heal themselves, are they actually trying to trick you? like they don't know that we SEE their fucking health not go down so they think "if i occasionally heal he might not know that im FUCKING INVINCIBLE."
+Rodolfo Augusto Nah. Nanomachines,son!
+James Loucks I'm not sure about Dark souls 2 but in Dark souls 1 I modded a little myself and your health actually does go down no matter how high you put it (Unless the health bar was gray) but it was way over what was allowed so it never showed up.
Hackers are sundowner confirmed.
He's so darn cute with his little hacks and what not!, let's name him sparky!
Now lets hope he:
1) Doesn't have any homeward bones on him.
2) Haven't read the Feather's description to know it's pretty much an unlimited homeward bone
3) Doesn't know about Darksign
So that his character will be stuck there forever.
Dark Souls 2, Gota catch them all!
You effectively sent him to jail for hacking.
Gravity no longer works? Great, they encourage ganking and now this.
Fromsoftware, you should fire the man that got that idea.
Supercilious Lunamaniac
But ganking hackers is another story
They also encourage endless leveling, causing there to be no level or stat meta.
*- w-*
But it was so funny to trap him in a hole, I would hate to kill him quick. Ruins all the run you can have.
Honestly why do people have a problem with gankers? I like having a challenge.
t0pitsky
It depends on the type of ganker. Obviously it's going to be a challenge fighting 2-3 by yourself, but the gankers that I have a problem with are the Havelyn monsters with GMB.
If only there wasn't an invasion timer in this game and he got stuck down there forever
he could turn off pc
Travis Haugen Yeah but then he gets a softban doesn't he?
Darkening duh
Darksign damnit auto correct
+Benjamin Butler but you cant darksign with an invader in your world
In DS2 your weight also affects how much fall damage you take.
Baxter, you could hack out fall damage in the first game /anyway/. It's got nothing to do with DkS2's changes.
Serithi
_Did you know italics are a thing_ Kappa
***** Kappa Keepo Meepo
The reason he survived falling is because those two falls aren't coded into the game as specifically fatal falls. If he were to fall off of a hole ,into the ocean, at the lost bastille, he would die.
You absolutely know he was thinking "Oh my god, why doesn't he come down here and fight me like a man?"
It would be just fucking perfect if he had no homeward bones. Then again, he'd probably just hack them in anyways.
+Necromancer Bernard Exactly what i was thinking.
I was hoping he'd use the darksign, personally.
+Snap Mutagen ...and lose his 999999999999999999999999 hacked souls, and then proceed to hack them all again. (which takes time)
He can't just spawn homeward bones in his inventory. He'd have to have them in there to begin with. Then he could duplicate them. Considering how long he was there he did not have any in his inventory and that character will remain stuck there because I don't think it spawns out. If it does though.... Well damn
He was being invaded, he can't use homeward bones whilst being invaded
RUUUUUN THE HACKERS HAVE EVOLVED!! SET UP A QUARANTINE!

Excellent work Agent Oroboro, we'll take this one back to headquarters for examination.
Now that you've caught it, you have to breed it with other hackers to try and get one with perfect IVs.
gonna take years man
There are certain places where falling isn't a kill trigger, it just does so much damage when you land you guarantee die in most scenarios. ~ 0:50
Can you survive that with flying boots silver cat ring and fall control?
Steven Schmitz Nope!
Yes
Bardia Filizadeh not in the area he fell, it is mapped off - there are no items/enemies/pathing there. There is a death barrier around it to prevent this. The other half of the area you can drop too and live. It contains Fire Salamanders and numerous little goodies. The Iron Key found early in the Old Iron Keep opens the door to the Actual area.
Steven Schmitz Fall Control only protects you from damage from what you would normally survive, if you were to survive, without fall control all you would have to do is estus.
After extensive trying with Flying Feline Boots, Moon Butterfly Wings, Silvercat Ring, Fall Control, Life Ring +3, Third Dragon Ring, as well as Vigor at level 99 and aiming for the shortest drop possible, I have determined that no, it is not possible by any in-game, non-cheating means to survive that drop. now that I took a look at this again, his running speed was faster than normal too.
Hackers are now immune to Gravity ?! SHIT EVERYBODY RUN !
Dude, seriously, you're by far the best Dark Souls TH-cam channel operator. Subscribed.
I kinda wish that guy would have sent you hatemail... probably the only way he could ridicule himself even more.
People are going to use and be drawn to things that work, whether you like it or not (and come on people, try the Transgressors Shield for christs sake.), and while its natural to be salty about that...don't become such a crybaby that you're going to go as far as this to justify your crying.
you could have taken him to that long statue arm next to the pursuer and killed him
in the sea
I love Oro's reaction when he first pushed him off the ledge XD
Did I spy with my little eye two mundane avelyns in your inventory, brandon?
hes pretty much using all the cheese available in the game at the moment lol
should've thrown HELLO stones down into there and it wouldve been perfect
Some say the hacker is still there
Blood Fire Drake Or some say Kosm...
That may have been the best dark souls video i have ever seen.
Why is everyone using the Acolyte mask-Watcher set combo? I thought when I made it up it was special. :(
My use of the Sage mask instead makes me feel better than Obobo.
King Dizi I use dragon sage and grym warrior chest legs and hands while dual wielding great grym axes power stance
that's a cute little pet you got there Oro
There's a pit of death in the turtle area, and if that's not unlocked there's always the side of the castle by the giant stone sword.
Most elevators also have pits of death underneath.
legend has it that he is still there to this day
why did he even THINK he could bait you out into even grounds?
i mean he propably thought "yeah let's fight fair and square", but any fight with him wouldn't be fair...
by the name of the video and the way that cheater survived after his first drop - I knew what would happen next huehuehue
that was classy, brandon
I didn't understand why this video was called "My pet hacker" until I reached the end and it hit me
I have never hated the existence of any Item/spell that returns you to the bonfire so much in my life
lets us just hope he was doing a no bonfire run.
Expected hatemail, was sorely disappointed.
Oro, you are a legend. Does my heart good to see a scrub like that getting put in his place.
Well hello there
+Egyptian Overlord Are you talking about summoned reds or invading reds? There are no rules in an invasion, on either side. Dueling is what you mean to say.
Nikto No-Life No. I mean invasions. Why do you invade if you're going to run away and not fight? You're right, there are no rules in an invasion, which is why I use seeds. I'm not complaining because it's annoying, they'll die to the enemies if they try that shit against me, I just don't understand why people invade to do that.
+Egyptian Overlord They do what they have to in order to win. If they're not good at combat, they'll use whatever other advantages they can get. That's how invading works.
that was beyond humiliating xD you are the best brandon
i love how at the beginning you were all like "WHAT, NO WAY" and im like no shit he survived, you need a bottomless pit to kill an infinite health player not just a high place
Usually hackers just increase their health by insane amounts but, in this case the guy had infinite health. A dropen from a big fall like that will kill most health hackers as it depletes all health. In this case the hackers health regenerates to maximum, preventing a height death.
yeah, but in dark souls 1 fall damage was percentage based, so you could kill them with any high place.
+Genetically British To be fair, the area that the hacker fell into had an 'insta-kill' barrier.
southparkkenny2 I am pretty sure that anyplace where you can walk around on dose not have an insta kill barrier.
Genetically British He hit the barrier then slid off it, anyway the fall would have seriously hurt him, especially in that armor.
This is just pure Justice, oroboro you just did a service to every honest player who got wrecked by a hacker XD thank you so much XD
I'm kinda confused that Oro didn't know that just falling damage will not kill a hacker...that's not really new. Every time I saw a hacker die in some video, it was always a bottomless pit of some kind, not just a drop from 20 feet.
Raikao DkS1 had a way of making falls do percentile health damage and if you fell long enough the fall would just plain kill you (which in all honesty was the best route in the game to go with)
it does seem that fall damage was changed but in all honesty for the worst.
It may have been more like, "WHAT, OMG, THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY TO KILL HACKERS!" kinda moment. It might have been like an, "oh no" kind've thing.
Vinyltavia
I think they kinda had to change it, otherwise items like the cat ring would have given you x% less falling damage, which would have made you immune to dieing from falling. So that's why they made it flat damage probably. The hole in Majula you kinda have to drop down into, so it's also part of the game very much. I don't think keeping a mechanic, so that hackers have it harder is a good idea either. You can't design something around the 1% who try to circumvent the system imho.
Raikao They really could have kept it the same way because in DS1 if it was a lethal fall it would kill you regardless of whether you had the falling sorcery.
sam2795
Erm no, as I stated in my post, they have the whole "drop down the hole in majula" thing going on.
I can't believe I watched this entire thing. BUT SO WORTH IT. Best punishment for a hacker, completely trapped like a cute little hamster
Oros and Peevee First Pet YAY!
How to tame your very own hacker, amazing XD
On a side note what was up with your set up? Monastery Scimitar, GRS, and of course, a FUCKING katana.
is there something wrong with using things in the game?
yeah that FUCKING weapon which is in the game and therefore is entirely ok to use.
Cinnahawk Why are you surprised? He started the whole "R1 with Falchion buff" in das1 :)
The year is 2021... Till this day the cheater is still in its natural habitat
Here hoping he didn't buy any homeward bones or bombs
Darksign tho...
Homura Akemi oh yea... I forgot about that, i have never used it
Homura Akemi Wait do Darksigns aoutomaticly teleports you to the last bonfire ?
I swear you cant homeward bone, feather or darksign when invaded
Jiiks and your humanity, although I don't think that matter either
Awww, he looked like a little white mouse running around down there, all confused and such. Adorable.
Oh the beauty of a pissed of hacker:)
probably the best thing ive seen on Dark souls 2 so far
What is this game anymore?
From seems to agree according to the latest patch note, oh no your crutches :^(((
Looks like with them nerfing your backstep parry, GRS, buffs, and batfog, you'll be the one who has to "Git gud l3l xdxdxd" :^)))
Probably one of my favorite videos on the internet
This is infinitely better than death because even if he restarts the game he will spawn there forever!
well there's always homeward bone, aged feather or the darksign...
Sdadawr
Hopefuly he has none...?
Ben Shabtai you always have the darksign its not a consumable same with aged feather but hes probably too stupid to realize he can use the darksign lol
Demoniczz
Wow, I totally forgot about the Dark Sign... I guess it's because I never use it.
lol yea no one does xD
wow, thats some good throwing knife aim you got there, almost hit the ceiling.
hackers are deathly afraid of heights
That was freakin' amazing dude! :)
He can survive a fall, although if he falls out of the map, he will be bugged forever.
+IX That's participially none existence in the game.
+IX That's participially none existence in the game.
+IX homeward bone though if he got one
+Benjamin Crespan or dark sign
it was a hyperbole guys.
I think Dark Souls 1 was better in pvp and pve but things like this make Dark souls 2 not as fun.
lunabrony1
that is true, DaS1 is super good and there is so mutch stupid changes made into this game. i know DaS1 was rushed out to release but this game was just ridiculous at day one.
Xehanord Do you not remember the flipping havels and the fog ring mess in dark souls 1 when it too first came out? This game is no different. Dark souls 1 even had scaling problems as well with its weapons.
VanguardJedi
yes, but that was a long time ago. i would expect From to learn not to repeat somthing that was bad the first time.
What a baby. I thought you would have lead him to that open area with the spear hollows and dropped him off the edge, but this was even better.
It puts the lotion in the basket.....
Oh no, that's really far better than killing. Oroboro you're the best. It was so bad, so good... XD
my god someone lived gravity what sort of evil is this?!!!
Yep, PC Master Race heh.
Well sill congrats you catched a living one.
I got the feeling you are gonna fill up that pit xD
Hey Oro, Don't listen to those salty fucks that keep badmouthing everything you do (although I doubt you do anyway). You're an awesome guy and I love your videos. I can't believe that some people would rather take the side of a hacker than support you.
"I caught one" well you are now the hackermon master. New Name - Professor Oro
if gravity cant kill hackers the game will (you die if you go off-side of the world)
Is that the monastery scimitar? I smell cheese
I like to think that he has no homeward bones or anything to escape with.
PC Master Race in action?
*PC Mustard Race
No.
I watched this on his stream archive XD Love it!
You should have just broken all his stuff
y would it matter
Travis Haugen Fun.
I knew he was going to survive that beginning bit, you have to ledge him off a bottomless fall.
