the broken kariya, who spawned from a family of mages with dark and twisted history, who went well beyond his caabilities, driven mad by pain and agony, ended up controlling the most fearsome and taxing class, berserker. Kiritsugu, a pragmatist, an utilitarian and an assassin cloaked in shadows is intertwined with images of light, be it knightly artoria (saber) or the einzberns. His inverse Kirei, a perverted and twisted priest, who commanded assassin. And Gilgamesh and Tokiomi, both graceful, one being slave to vanity, the other to otherworldly concepts. damn, I hope someone can recreate this greatness. would be down for another epic like this.
How about waver? A really naive college student, who lacks any special talents but wants to be recognized by everyone and summons Alexander, a literal walking mass of charisma and probably the most globally recognized out of all the servants in the fourth grail war.
The ticks are super subtle, trying to find a frequency that brought it to the forefront was a nightmare, but it's effect is palpable, even if it's just done subconsciously.
I can not stress this enough, but I can't believe after watching this series 8 times from start to end I always find something new and interesting. 10/10
I would love nothing more than to see a video on a later scene. Rider's final battle with Archer, or more so his final discussion with Archer, as he stood there dying. I always found it very moving.
I've found out this channel through the sillier (and also great) attention span videos, and after watching like 10 of your analysis pieces in a row, i really don't understand how the hell you don't have more viewers, the quality of your videos is incredible and i honestly can't wait for you to make more Hopefully and probably this channel gets more traction, because damn do you deserve it. please do keep it up

It's really sad; I feel Kariya could have helped to ground Rin and Sakura by continuing to be their uncle over the years if he hadn't decided to throw himself in dangers way to "save" Sakura. He did what he did simply out of his selfish desires for Aoi's approval, if he really wanted to help Sakura he could have done so by being there for her after the Holy Grail War ended.

I agree He has been talking about Fate/Zero's exposition and how that team uses sound a visual direction to make the viewer feel something. I would love to see him say something whether bad or good about the exposition that came from DitF episode 19.
Kariya isn't joining the war to save Sakura though, he's joining the war because he wants to be with Aoi. It's a lot more selfish than you make it seem, and why Kariya ultimately fails where Shirou succeeds.

That's not true. He was fully aware that entering this war would kill him, so he did not enter it to be with Aoi, though his love for her is a major influence on his life. Kariya entered the war because he wanted to save a child he cared about from suffering a terrible fate. Just because worms ate away at his brain matter to the point of mentally breaking him and revealing additional motivations, does not take away from his selflessness.
