    Here’s something i need to know. I always get double teamed and i cant get by them but when i do 1 v 1 its easier. Being said, Can you please do a video on how to get passed a tight double teams defense.

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There won't be a video coming for that one. What I can say, is work on your ball handling and footwork. Beating a double team largely comes from instinct where your skills kick in.
      Check out our dribbling videos and even though many of our videos don't have "footwork" in the title the training covers a lot of footwork.

      Nicholas’SuperCoolFoodReviews : same bro I’m 5’8 and a righty I can dribble with my left a lot better since February but still my layups and shots need work cause I want to be able to shoot with both hands so I’m working to be able to do that by November

    • @Lewis.Alcindor
      @Lewis.Alcindor 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to literally strengthen your weak hand for shooting. I worked on mine (left) this summer by doing form shooting with my left, first at close range, then gradually increasing shooting distance. Ryan Razooky did this to the point that he could shoot weak hand (left) 3 pointers fairly consistently (look up his vid).
      I knew my left hand was weak, but didn't know how weak until I tried to shoot layups. I was working on different righty layups, then found that I couldn't make my lefty layups even remotely consistently. By strengthening my left hand, I have more control with where the ball goes and the way it hits the backboard.
      I am now much better, but still need to improve. Just this week, I found that my lefty underhand layups lacked touch and control. So I worked on it a bit.

  • @GabrielWeighner
    @GabrielWeighner 6 ปีที่แล้ว +96

    Can you make a video on how to increase shot range. I am a good shooter inside the ark and have a pretty consistent form, but when i move out to the 3pt line, my form isn't as good (even though i can shoot a little bit closer to the hoop from the 3pt line) thx in advance!

    Love the moves, info etc. I recently subscribed and well worth the watch, so full of content on all videos on this channel. For the most part, at lower levels of basketball (HS, JUCO, NAIA,) they wont let these moves fly, especially if its girls/women's basketball. I have seen too many times at lower levels of basketball the official has not see a woman/girl make a move such as these and guess what, BOOM... traveling called.

      Take the principles of each move and adapt it to fit the league. At the end of the day, all any of these moves are is footwork, body control and ball handling.

    I was following the stop and make the close floater by not directly facing the rim until the shot is well up there, and how that makes it more difficult to block, but when it's demonstrated at 4:40, there's no stop whatsoever. Second time, same thing. I presume the description was just poor, because there's no hint of such an abrupt stop that you're trying to shake a defender, rather it's just one continuous motion of a small dash and a jump. There's no set stop at all. I'm not saying it's a bad move, but the only stop, if you can call it that, is just that he's not moving diagonally any more and instantly jump shoots.

      Nice observation. You can add whatever twist or variation to any move you feel will create space and make it more difficult to defend as long as you can make that shot with a good %.

    Make a video with counters for the two foot floater. What moves/fakes can I make after the hop step?

      Also, do not limit your pro hoop dreams to the USA. There are other countries and leagues throughout the world where you can have a very satisfying career and maybe make your way back to the USA to play if that is your goal. Good luck!

    If the defender reads the Rondo Fake before I do it and it gets knocked out of my hand on the fake, how can I make sure that doesn't happen?

    • @DeepGameBasketball

      Don't worry about that "what if" and just make a better fake.
