    Coach explains not to pick up your pivot foot before dribbling, but a pause at :52 and again at :57 shows coach has clearly travelled. Referees have been calling this more frequently at the high school level in our state, and many times the players aren't even aware they are doing it.

    Great content, quality on check! One question tho, how isn’t the first move a travel? Your left is your pivot foot, and you clearly lift your pivot foot before driblling the ball. I am not tryiing to call you out or anything like that, i just see so many coaches teaching us to do that move, and that confuses me because in europe that is a clear travel. Hope you are going to respond

    • @Sarraqin
      @Sarraqin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you listen closely, the trick in is him saying "put the ball down before we lift up our pivot foot". Refs in Europe are much stricter to this kind of travel (even on the pro level) but in the US people don't think too much about it and I'm assuming that is the reason that when done at slow speed, he clearly dribbles before lifting, but at full speed he kinda blurs it into one motion.

    • @noliferetiree1354
      @noliferetiree1354 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JF 15 Depends on how active you are. If you are going hard every day then you'll need alot of carbs. Fish chicken, rice, bread, water, etc. Cut out anything bad, especially sodas and greese foods.

    • @AM_Diver
      @AM_Diver 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The older you get and the higher competition, the more you need to eat healthier to sustain top level play.
      So I'm assuming you're a teen in highschool right now, and you're either a little over, or far underweight.
      You should, if you're a rail like myself, be eating proteins a LOT, to build up your muscle mass. I like to get protein from 2 sometimes 3 sources per meal. Now I don't really like nuts so I choose beans (black, vegetarian, Pinto, etc) for veggie protein and a nice chicken, beef, etc. for my animal protein.
      Carbs are easier to find than those. Try brown rice (better for you than white), pasta, potatoes and the like.
      Now you need to get some greens in you so go for ones that help preformance. I like carrots, STAY AWAY FROM CORN as your body does not naturally digest it, broccoli's good, Lettuce, Cabbage, Onions, Peppers are stuff that I like to eat, but try different things for yourself. You might find that you like avocados which are also a good source of protein.
      Try getting these meals days in advance because preparing them the day of is never realistic. That's a big part of why people go back to their bad eating habbits because it's time consuming. Other than that though, you've probably heard what not to eat before, candy, chips, soda, junk food, etc. Honestly you can google your recommended dietary intake based on your weight and that'll give you portions so you can get where you want
