True ❤ not going to lie that was kind of smooth both of them maybe because they’re a big aircraft. In fact also the 747 wasn’t less crosswind.😅 but you’re correct
Crabbing: The pilot turns the aircraft slightly into the wind (like a "crab" walking sideways) so that the nose points into the crosswind. This helps the aircraft compensate for the wind pushing it off course. The airplane is effectively flying at an angle relative to the runway but traveling in a straight path toward it. Wing Low (Sideslip) Method: The pilot lowers the wing on the side of the crosswind and uses opposite rudder to keep the nose aligned with the runway. This counters the crosswind and prevents the aircraft from drifting sideways. The plane is now aligned with the runway while landing. Combination of Rudder and Ailerons: During crosswind takeoff or landing, the pilot uses the rudder to keep the aircraft’s nose pointing down the runway and the ailerons (wing control) to prevent the aircraft from rolling or drifting sideways. Maintaining Correct Heading: During flight, to stay on the intended course, the pilot adjusts the plane’s heading slightly into the wind, so that even though the wind is blowing sideways, the plane moves straight toward its destination.
