Yes, it is hard to get because it’s oop, but the “creator” of this deck still took images that wasn’t hers, scanned and uploaded them to a website for sale. Anyway we look at it, she took someone else’s work without permission, breaching copyright law. We don’t know why it’s oop, but it’s also a decision by the legitimate owner/publisher to *not* reproduce the deck. Every creator that has their deck reproduced without permission uses that same copyright law to base their argument against counterfeit, which is justified and their right.
It’s kind of specious to turn around and condone this stealing because this counterfeiter isn’t making any money, or because someone feels entitled to own a copy and prices are too high. Baba Studios has for years let their decks go oop every so often, yet no one in the community would dare suggest buying a counterfeit of their decks is justified.
I understand your argument...but I think there are 'schools of ' I truly feel there are many fractions to this ..but in the bigger scheme of things truth is in the blink of an eye another deck will come along ...thank you for conbuting x
I purchased this deck after seeing it on Anna’s channel. I also have the original deck too. I don’t remember hearing anything about a counterfeit deck the day I watched Anna’s show. I do remember that it had a short availability. Anna posted another show stating that the person who scanned the deck to sell it
didn’t have permission to do that.
Also recently the most sought after Greenwood Tarot deck was available to purchase on MakePlaying Cards. I also purchased a copy. One of the card creators didn’t want the deck sold that way so the disagreement cause the deck to become OIOP again. It’s Gone!!
@@njerifombi3875 yes you are absolutely right it was only available for a short time at request. I saw the Greenwood was made available by the artist too I know they talked about a new print but never seen it up...thank you for watching xxx
@@njerifombi3875 I suspect the Crow’s Magick Tarot was available for a short time because the seller knew she didn’t have permission. Good to know Anna acknowledged that. A pdf of the Greenwood Tarot was made available somewhere on the internet by the creator that people can use and have their own copy printed.
I wanted to buy the mpc one but it was gone way before the end of July…😢 in hindsight this was the start of my halt in my buying spree, so maybe it was a good thing.

I love the deck, I have the original and the twin version. And I was too crushed that I couldn’t find the book after hearing Meg reading the majors from it. But thanks to someone who send me pictures of the pages I could make my own book, and it turned out much more beautiful than the original one.

This was my first deck, and I could never comprehend it. Learning it's Thoth based makes all the sense in the world
It certainly has a depth ...like a universe in itself x

Oooh I so rarely disagree with you… it is ok to copy anything for your own use but in my opinion never to make money from someone else’s hard work. AI is making that all too easy. Having said that I haven’t seen the original deck.
I do agree with you about some of the books accompanying Tarot - they are amazing! And that greed shouldn’t have a place in Tarot.
She didn't make money..it was for her use and it was available for a limited time only ...but I know this is a delicate subject ...and I hear one that has also caused problems with the Greenwood ...thanks for watching and sharing your feelings ...much love x
i purchased this deck back when it was first published (before we could see the cards first) and didn't like it. i still don't like it. it's probably because i'm a traditionalist(?) and i don't like thoth and i don't like keywords on tarot and so on and so forth. beats me. i think you've made some *really* valid points in this video and i appreciate what you have to say 💙
