Witchy Books for August reading Part two

As my intro explains Im sorry for the sounds of the rain and traffic, as it has been really wet here. The books I have shared are worth a mention, from my waffle to my inability to pronounce words, if you are a hardcore fan of my waffle, thank you if you make it through.

Oooo is part on audible again. The series was, and as I finished the gathering, the entire series disappeared. 1st book was fab - enjoy 😊

@@madwitch9977 Won't read much until winter. I am out in garden all summer. Our winters (in New England) are long and cold and reading helps me get through. Nice weather has me outside. Came in for lunch and saw your video - couldn't resist. So love your waffles!

I found the Ronald Hutton book on audible as free with my subscription 🎉
BTW, hubby and I both share his prime membership so we both get the free shipping. Not sure if the UK rules will be the same

It's not only me then that forgets books as soon as I have read them 😂I have read one troy book, Walking the tides and loved it, I would also like to read under the witching tree. I was full of giggles with your Phenomenon and was also singing it in my head. ( also struggle with pronunciations) 🤣I have also put the gathering on my wish list. thanks for sharing G. 💜

Now that I’ve watched - I love the unplugged August idea and I may copy you. I agree it is so hard to keep up with all the tarot tube content - I want to support all the lovely channels, especially the smaller ones - but screen time is taking its toll on me and I have to watch my inktake.
And - I will contradict my screen limits and copycat you some time over the next couple of days with a video of my books pile 📚 😅🫖☕️

You could hear totally fine. I love your waffling because i do it, too. You've given me a lot of ideas for my next reads. Will this be a series that you carry on with? I'm just getting into the language of flowers and hoping to plant my garden with secret messages, as well as for garden witchy purposes. It looks like your summer is going to be a really peaceful, relaxing one. I will miss all your post though

I really enjoyed your ‘ raw and real’ ( I know I keep saying this phrase) video. You couldn’t be more so than in this video. It reminds me of sitting down and talking with a friend on a rainy grey day over a pot of herbal tea.

The archival word - (it’s unknown until you know it) is pronounced ArkEyeVall - rhymes with eyeball 👁. I only know this because I came across the word many times years ago and thought of eyeball and now it’s stuck. 🤣
I want to get some of those books you’ve mentioned now Giselle... It’s a real book lovers problem isn’t it? I have no willpower when it comes to books or tarot cards for that matter.
I have the Kew book ‘Witch’s Forest’ and now I may have to look at Witch’s Garden too!
My recent purchases are The Complete Language of Trees by S.Theresa Dietz. She also has one on herbs and another on flowers. - full of symbolic meanings, possible powers and folklore and facts. Great dip in and out reference books with beautiful illustrations.

My to be read list is big 🙈 but I never read one book at a time. I’m always working my way through at least three sometimes more. I think I banned myself in May from buying any books or tarot decks until I’d finished at least three books

I go to my local nursery and purchase this stuff that turns your hydrangea's either pink or blue. It changes the ph level of your soil so the following time they bloom they come out the color you want. Love those Troy books by Gemma Gary. I love all the books and i adore watching you 🥰🥰🤗🤗💘💘🌹🌹
