The Kadett was designed in 1933 to meet an official requirement for a basic trainer. It was a single-bay biplane of fabric-covered, metal construction with open cockpits, a staggered wing, a strut-braced tail unit, and fixed tailskid undercarriage. The prototype was powered by a 104 kW (139 hp) Argus As 8B air-cooled inline engine.[2]
The first production model, the He 72A retained the As 8B engine in early batches, but later production aircraft had a 112 kW (150 hp) As 8R. The He 72A was superseded by the He 72B, which was the major production version. This was powered by a 120 kW (160 bhp) Siemens-Halske Sh 14A radial.[2]
The He 72B was produced as the He 72B-1 landplane and He 72BW Seekadett ("Sea Cadet") twin-float seaplane. The civil development was the He 72B-3 Edelkadett ("Noble Cadet").

In a world of ARFs it's good to see a kit built plane fly. A well-built kit can even put up with crappy landings without breaking the LG block.

look at the prop and watch it again and again you should see it's pushing not pulling so how the heck did it fly forward

Great job on the plane Captain Blaz, great video and commentary by Pilot Robert. Such a beautiful plane it's a real joy to watch it fly. I have a few planes that are 30+ years old. Two are flying and two need some love to fly again even fixing them makes me happy. Great to see you guys having fun and bringing it to a world audience. Oh man! I love everything about this plane. I guess I am really old fashioned. It flies great, sounds great, and is easy to see in light or dark skies. The details are outstanding: Pilot and controls, double ailerons, fake five cylinders, spring suspension, and paint job. So wow, just wow. PS. The camera work was really good too!

I too am an old fashion lover. At 70 years old and a pilot of real aircraft, including helicopters, I would have liked nothing more than to have been able to join your hobby before I got too old. Even though I probably will not fly one of these beautiful models, I certainly enjoy seeing the professionalism of the pilots of these beautiful old aircraft. These are the way flying was taught to me. No computers, just an E6-B to figure winds and course. Dead reckoning with a compass and if you were lucky, you had a NDB that could be tuned to a radio beacon.

Just before landing, when you start pulling the elevator to slow the aircraft down, you need to hold the elevator and adjust your descend rate by applying a little throttle. This will help you to keep the nose up and prevent the plane from stalling just before touch-down.

That is one Beautiful model! It is very aerobatic too. It looks like a cross between a Tiger Moth and a Bucker Jungmeister! Man, that thing looks good with the swept back wing, and radial dummy engine!!! Great Buy Capt. Robert, and Great Flying Blaz!!!!!
Blaz, I did a little checking, and I believe this kit was from a company in Germany called Pradise Modellbau. I'm pretty sure this is the same kit! It flies so nice. Congratulations!!!!!
