I wouldn't start dreaming of the possible future because Hiya is VERY short on staff. They have only 1 sculptor. ONE. He didn't even sign a contract or anything so he can leave whenever he wants.

I love how hiya has continually improved on their figures. The paint on this new figure is just delicately enhanced. I'm excited to get mine as well and the future pre-orders that are coming. Now, if they can get Kong from new emipres likeness down, I'll be doing back flips. It really is a great time to be a godzilla and kaiju fan!
8:20 I feel that is intentional, because in the last movie is shown that Godzilla likes to sleep like a cat, so the tail should be able to flex until that point 😅
This new tail articulation reminds me of the recent monsterarts Godzilla 2024. There was really no articulation improvements but the tail on that figure was amazing, the same tail upgrade as this guy.
Personally I prefer the 2019 figure over the re evolved figure. I actually like the earth tones in between the scales, contrast nice with the gray without popping out too much. The re-evolved figure’s eyes look slightly too large so I’m glad I bought the 2019 figure
Apart from the improved articulation, the KotM 2019 still looks the most movie accurate. This new GxK version looks somewhere between the KotM and GvK version, but I would argue for the scene you see Godzilla I’m GxK, he looks more like the 19 figure.

But no need to be all judgy about something I witnessed from another video. Wasn't spreading lies, just casually explaining something I saw from other reviews and images that were submitted online claiming that it was the new re evolved and explaining how it was a "lazy copy and paste" (could've been fake idk it was just being spread around). Oh and just FYI I've had one ordered for about a week
Absolutely amazing 🤩 Lucky me got a g19 with a way less prominent dust dry brushing, so I think imma pass on this one cuz of my luck on the other one, although I am jelous of the new tail range since mine has like 2 joints that refuse to move, I ever used a hairdryer and it did nearly nothing to fix it, I guess you give something and you get something 😅

Has anyone noticed that hiya re-used the same mold for the lower part of the 2019 up to re-evolved godzilla from the original 2021 v1? I've been noticing that the dorsal fins between the torso and hip joint doesn't match to the updated sculpt
I'm going to be honest, I prefer the 2021 reissue version the most. It does not mean the others are bad, I just think it looks more cleaner to me, I like the paint more and the way the face looks. I just like the way it looks in general and the way it presents Godzilla more than the other ones. The reason I do not like the other standard Godzilla's as much is because the Pre-Evolved could possibly have goofy eyes, and the 2019 has a bunch of that pinkish paint in the chest between the cracks of the skin, which are my problems with the other standard Godzilla's. This doesn't mean the figures are bad, though. I actually do indeed like the Pre-Evolved, and I am actually thinking of getting it. Its safe to say, in the end, all 3 of these figures are great.
Got mine today. Jamesimus (Yt Channel) describe this figure the best. It's not justva repaint. They gathered data on the Translucent Godzilla and implemented it there. The reason why the tail has more stress tolerance and being able to be pose like that is because of them tweaking the gaps on the tail to be not as tight. This would make the tail look weird when it is straight flat pose but not noticable when it is sideways. The neck being slimmer resulted on the head being able to move more freely. This is definitely a must buy if you haven't got any Legendary Godzilla. Or if you only have their 1st 2 release (Ie. Joing Jaw Goji and loose neck Goji)
Ive heard the articulation is improved. Is that true? Or do they have the same range? Because kotm is my favorite paintjob but Ill always prefer better articulation than design.

@@jamzilla1220 It's less about timing and more about the fact that it takes longer to mass produce brand new molds. If it was all about that GxK timing, then Evolved Godzilla and Shimo would be releasing around the same time as Pre-Evolved Godzilla, but those are set to release around Q4. Pre-Evolved Godzilla is just a repaint of their standard Godzilla mold, so that's why it's releasing earlier than their other GxK figures.
Did you check their OTHER shipping option? They have 2. One is to the majority of the world, but they have a second shipping option that's more expensive that has another like 7 places they ship too.

2019 looks kinda better than the other ones in the video at least to me I dont know about seeing them in real life im sure the new one is better on hand but it looks better to me in the footage

Kowkistoys is based out of China. They get their stuff the same day Hiya Toys releases their figures. As soon as it comes in, they ship it out right away.
Does anyone have bent dorsal plates on their Hiya Toys Godzilla 2019 figures? Mine does, and no matter how much I use the hairdryer and dunking into cold water method, it still stays bent after a few hours. I don't know what other options I can use to straighten the dorsal plates
Like the new Godzilla figures is like the mix of the colour of 2019 and 2021 but the model is the same as the 2021 u can notice in the hight and the chest of the 2019 and 2021 they are different
So, short summary of this figure: It’s not accurate to GxK, but instead looks like a more screen accurate version of the KoTM version of Godzilla. More accurate than the figure Hiya Toys made for KoTM.

when I first saw the in hand photos i was really disappointed with it but now I've seen a review I'm so hyped for it to arrive it looks so good.
But I've seen other people review it and it does NOT look like this at all its the 2021 godzilla with slightly different face paint
