Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the new Puma ST 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. Wouldn't hurt to ask for the Mk8 Fiesta ST and/or the Mk4 Focus ST 6 speed manual as well!

Hab den Puma als Ersatzwagen gehabt, da mein Mustang zur Inspektion war.
Würde ich nicht einen Cent für auslegen!
Lenkung ist viel zu leicht und "spitz". Sehr unhomogen in allen Modien.
Die Bremsen packen gut...aber nur ein wenig fester auf dem Pedal...und schon ballert die Bremse voll durch!!! Man bremst dann viel viel zu fest!
Start-Stop system nervt extremst! Geht schon aus, wenn man auf die Ampel zu rollt. Geht erst an, wenn Kupplung getreten UND ein Gang eingelegt wird. Ich hab mal i nder Fahrschule gelernt, das man den Motor grundsätzlich OHNE eingelegten Gang startet!!
Automatiklicht ist viel zu empfindlich und geht schon bei kleinstem Lichtverlust zb durch eine Wolke, an! Schaltet man auf Manuell, stellt dann den Hobel ab und startet später neu, ist die Lichtautomatik wieder an!!
Digitales Cockpit!! Leider läuft der Drehzahlmesser nicht flüssig und auch nicht syncron zur Drehzahl. Die Verzögerung und das geruckele Nervt enorm, selbst nur aus dem Augenwinkel. Dazu kommt, das das "Tacho" zwar per Zeiger angezeigt wird, aber keine Ziffern dran stehen. Die Geschwindigkeit wird Digital mittig im Tacho eingeblendet...wozu dann bitte noch das Tacho ohne Ziffern????
6,5liter/100km für einen 3 Zylinder mit 125ps sind zuviel!
Man fährt ziemlich entkoppelt. Alles irgendwie sehr weich gespült. Rückmeldung aus dem Fahrwerk ist eigentlich immer nur "hart" und von der Lenkung = Nichts!. Ebenso Bremspedal und Gaspedal.
Geschwindigkeit spürt man fast nicht und ist ratzfatz zu schnell...Liegt auch daran, das der Motor extrem ruhig und gedämmt seinen job macht. Gut ist der ja...
Das Lenkrad ist zu weich gepolstert...
Die Übersicht ist lächerlich und der Blick nach vorne zeigt einem immer die Scheinwerfergehäuse. Man schaut auf die Ränder was dann aussieht, als würden die gleich raus fallen!
Optik ist halt geschmackssache, aber insgesamt wirkt der Wagen sehr schwülstig und "möchte gern sportlich sein". Die ganzen SUVscheisskisten mit irgendwas "Sportlich" ist wie ein Elefant mit Turnschuh...und so fährt sich das auch.
Die Rückkehr in meinen Mustang war eine echte Wohltat.

The dislikes are for making the new puma and the puma st as a nasty crossover.
They got a green puma st at my local dealership right now, for 33.500€. That's literally more than my 250hp 2.0 Four cylinder Focus ST Estate cost, for a smaller car, with a smaller engine and less power. Prices of these "crossovers" are so ridiculous.
Take a compact or sub-compact car, put unpainted plastic on the bottom, raise suspension by a tiny little bit, bloat the exterior and BAM +5000€. No thanks.
Completely agree, just not good value for money, either go fiesta st or focus st
Feel lucky you get the choice of Focus ST, Fiesta ST, or Puma ST. Us Americans don't get any here in the states and I'm very sad
@@danielleroux6490 Bro you can literally get a Mustang GT in the US for the price of a Puma ST here in germany. I wouldn't even think to look at any of our ST models if proper performance cars were so cheap here.
@@cy9nvs A Mustang GT is not a practical vehicle - I can't fit actual people in the rear seats, it's an enormous bloated heavy boat of a car, and since it's rear wheel drive, I can't drive it year round as my daily commuter - I don't see many GTs driving in snow storms!! I can't buy a Mustang and then drive it to and from work and carry my family places. It's hard to justify such a purchase.
Not to mention it sucks down gas and you have to pay a gas guzzler tax penalty if you buy one. Whereas a hatchback is a practical family car; when it's an ST 6 speed manual it's also a blast to drive as a daily commuter.
You have to understand, ALL cars are cheaper in the U.S. - even the Focus ST and Fiesta ST previous generation were cheaper here than in Europe. So it's not just the Puma ST that is expensive in Germany but all cars cost more. I don't really know why that is.
@@cy9nvs Please don't compare the price of an EU car with that of a US car. The basic Mustang GT costs 49,000€ in Germany
