Die seidigen Töne aller Violinen sind echt eindrucksvoll. Die klare Stimme der Solistin klingt auch bemerkenswert. Die künstlerische Leitung von diesem Organisten ist vor allem bewundernswert. Glückliches Neujahr!

Sublime performance! The aria "Tocco la prima sorte" is prominently featured in a fantastic BBC documentary about Alessandro's most famous son, Domenico Scarlatti, who in his music drew much upon pastoral themes acquired during his childhood in Italy (Domenico, though, would go on to spend most of his life in Spain).
Indeed, the wonderful performance in that documentary, is by Janet Baker with the English Chamber Orchestra, under Raymond Leppard.
