    11:33 As soon as he opted to enter the guard, Coach though to himself with a chuckle, "Omayo wa mou shindeiru."
    11:38 Coach lives in the sands of grappling time, seen all, done all, knows all and inevitably taps all. This is the way. Coach has spoken.

    We've worked on ankle picks before but you give lots of detail, revealing little nuances that can make the difference in success or failure. Thanks Coach!

    Using your body instead of pulling with arms, details with balance and momentum...this is the ju component of jujutsu or jiu to jiu-Jitsu. It’s great to see the old science applied to modern methods. Great work!

    You do have an ankle pick vid already but a few of the details in this were new. Like how to attack if they have their front leg wrong etc

    hi coach long time subscriber here. I was wondering about your opinion on the wresting leg/ankle lace and whether it has its place in the modern bjj game. bill zadick has a really sweet video on the wrestling leg lace that I watch from time to time and it got me thinking. Do you think it can be used as a passing option from x guard? thanks!

    You have done an ankle pick video before hand BUT I think it's good for you to "review" techniques because we don't go back and watch those older videos because they don't show up in our feed.

    It's funny to read the comment section from MMA fans. Yes, Tony Ferguson is a wrestler, and like any wrestler he knows basic Ankle Pick.
    But how about taking hats off for Cael Sanderson on this one? The guy literally build a career out of Ankle Pick! Going undefeated during his 4 x NCAA champion run (only person in history to ever do so) and winning the Olympic gold. Ankle Picked pretty much everyone on the planet, including Daniel Cormier, Kamaru Usman and Yoel Romero.... multiple times.... on same match!!!
    Now that's some credintials right there.

    • @kallepikku4991
      @kallepikku4991 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm actually surprised coach Brian didn't mention Cael in this Ankle Pick video. It's like writing the Bible and not mentioning God.
