just starting to watch the videos i missed, your channel is great, nice aesthetics, quality vlogs! it is definitely not easy to find great jobs with a BA-degree for an average person, but it is probably not impossible, Vienna is probably the best place for that in Austria (just as Budapest is the "best" place for that in Hungary). the video was definitely interesting!

Austrian studies! Sounds fantastic. A publisher here in the U.S. I follow called "Wiseblood Books" recently re-published a two volume novel called "The Demons" by Heimito von Doderer an Austrian author who sets his story in Vienna 1910s and 1920s. Do you have opinion on this author or this novel? Thanks for another thoughtful and interesting vlog.

*also sorry that you found reading lists difficult- its a struggle for all of us really- i think you'd be surprised to know that there definitely wpuld have been others who hadnt resd the text either and just simply make things up- i have been guilty of that! I studied Comp Lit in my first and second year and the readint lists were a lot! Especially getting us to read Anna Karenina in a week 😰

I totally hate those overview courses irrespective of the domain. Its incredibly hard for me to study for the course which holds no interest for me. I can resonate with "not actively participating in the class discussion" part cause i been like this xd. Anyways have you ever had a thought of writing your own novel? It could happen because of involving too much into literature reading.
Btw very nice video luise :') and how are you?

Well helloouu 😄 🔆! I Luise is dressed fittingly for the autumn, I see🙃Like a box of Hershey's, it's fun to see, unpack and compare the Austrian curriculum. Postcolonial Literary Theory is a must in any English, or language department. You just can't overlook it. It is great to hear the warm receptivity given to alternative perspectives in European universities at the present, though the courses may still be "Eurocentric" as you put it. But I don't think that warrants too much nit picking because at the end of the day, you are studying in a European university. Interesting watch all the same☑

Thank you. I enjoyed your video. You talk English fluently. Your mother language is German, right? Why can you speak so fluently? That's because you studied in Scotland? I want to know the effective way to learn English for you.
